This was terrible. I loved the first (aside from the fact it was too 'teenager' for my tastes). The acting in this was terrible and the plot stupid. This was supposed to be the pilot for the Fox TV show Manchester Prep, which was already announced to the fall schedule. Someone said it was to racy (this is the Fox, mind you, the home of sauciness) and it was scrapped. So they added in bad language and released it straight to video. It was just too painful to watch. (spoiler) What was just too unbelievable for me was the ending where the headmaster's daughter does a 360 on Sebastian and is actually Katherine's ally. I didn't buy it since he was after this girl the whole movie and she just seemed too nice to go bad. It just wasn't believable. And Sebastian's sudden turn to the dark side was hard to believe as well. The whole show was supposed to be focused around nice guy Sebastian going after good girl Danielle. There is just a bunch of uneven continuity throughout this, that you can tell they just threw it together after they were pulled from the fall schedule. Do yourself a favor and watch Wall Street Week instead. Youll save a lot of brain cells in the process.
