Why? WHY was this movie released? WHY WHY WHY??? This movie is SO poorly done. Okay,...MAYBE the concept of a guy going out on twenty dates and filming them had SOME potential, but this guy is SUCH a jerk for most of the film that I don't even WANT him to find love. He films many of the women without telling them and then seems surprised when they hate him for it. He made a lot of women feel used and embarrassed. I just felt throughout the entire film as if he had NO solid concept of what he even WANTED this movie to be about. The biggest controversy in the movie is that he finds someone that he likes, and then doesn't want to have to go out on ALL TWENTY DATES. Neat story....TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT....NOT TO MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT. You've SEEN this movie already. Has someone you know ever dated someone else??? Have you ever seen them together being REALLY BORING??? Good!!! Save yourself the price of a video rental!!! This is a HOME MOVIE that this guy should show his kids someday....NOT THE MOVIE-GOING PUBLIC!!! Ugh!!! This film is a perfect example of the reason that some are hailing independent film as nothing more than a "vanity press for the 90s"!!!
