Unrealistic Feminist Fantasy--"Improve your Marriage through Head Trauma!"
15 May 2000
I stumbled across this on LIFETIME NETWORK, and after watching it realized, "thank goodness for movies like this to put men in their wretched places!" A real-life story, Lindsay Wagner comes out of a coma, can't remember her husband or her children (and gets all unhinged when her husband is actually upset that he's been forgotten...), leaves her kids with her husband, moves into an apartment and has a fling with a yacht-sailing lech who's obviously taking advantage of her predictament by whispering how "lucky" she is that she can "start life over" without kids or a hubby.

Huh? Why don't they re-name this MEN ARE VOMIT--it would be more up to the movie's intent. Feminists should have a ball with this one--each and every male has serious flaws that only sweet, saintlike Lindsay can solve, from her husband to her would be lover to her son...while the women virtually wear halos. Totally useless film... and it is "based on real life"! If this is "reality", the woman Lindsay plays must be healing lepers by now.
