I saw Pieces after a hard day at work I wanted something entertaining yet not too refined. However, while watching Pieces, I realized that I had rented a video below Grade B value. Although, it had its moments, Pieces is the kind of film that literally undermines it viewers. Like most horror films, it placing stereotypical characters (not to mention dumb girls) in ridiculous situations where they're asking to be killed. Pieces has everything of a bad movie: unnecessary nudity, Violent acts performed with lewd gusto, Badly dubbed lines, and a pretty daft ending. Nevertheless, it still has a certain quality about it (in the same vein of Prom Night and Happy Birthday to Me) that makes this whodunit picture barely entertaining. All in All, if you've seen one slasher flick, you've seen them all.
