This article contains some MCU spoilers
With the Marvel Comics we know today being founded in 1939 (originally known as Timely Comics), there are decades of stories and characters ready to be adapted for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Navigating a Galactus-sized franchise like the MCU means we expected some characters would be lost to the Multiverse.
Whether it’s old favourites stopping by for a cameo or a brand-new addition being saved for another day, it’s more than the odd scene being left on the cutting room floor. Sometimes, whole characters are given the boot and banished to Gorr the God Butcher’s Shadow Realm. Saddle up because here are 12 characters who were once cut from the MCU.

"This guy's the first Millennial gangster." Lionsgate has unveiled an official trailer for a movie called Silk Road, telling the rise & fall story of the founder of the infamous darkweb drug website called "Silk Road". This hasn't premiered at any film festivals and is heading straight to VOD in February for any curious to watch. Philosophical 20-something Ross Ulbricht creates Silk Road, a dark net website that sells narcotics, while DEA agent Rick Bowden goes undercover to bring him in. Nick Robinson stars as Ross, who values freedom above all, and Jason Clarke co-stars as the DEA agent. It's a back-n-forth story about the two and how similar they are. Also starring Katie Aselton, Jimmi Simpson, Daniel David Stewart, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Lexi Rabe, Will Ropp, with Paul Walter Hauser, and Alexandra Shipp. I really wish this looked better than it does; it's a cool story to tell, but this seems...

Katherine Langford has yet to miss in her young career.
The Australian actor already has a mighty impressive resume that includes two hit Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why and Cursed, as well as two esteemed films in Knives Out and Love, Simon. In her latest return to the screen, Langford stars in Brian Duffield’s Spontaneous, a high-concept sci-fi comedy that is currently registering a 97% score among Rotten Tomatoes critics.
Spontaneous focuses on Langford’s Mara and her budding relationship with Charlie Plummer’s Dylan. The catch is that their love story begins amid a rising pandemic involving spontaneously exploding teenagers at their high school. Even though the film was shot in early 2018, the film has direct parallels to the novel coronavirus pandemic, something none of the creatives could have seen coming.

We’re used to familiar faces from the DC multiverse turning up for cameo roles in The CW’s TV shows, but we weren’t expecting one of the stars of the highest-grossing Marvel (or otherwise) movie of all time to show up in Stargirl. The DC Universe/CW series reached its season 1 finale this week and it featured a brief role from an actress most known for her fan favorite part in Avengers: Endgame.
In “Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. Part 2,” Stargirl and the Justice Society had to work fast to stop the Injustice Society from brainwashing the whole country. The first stage of the villains’ evil plan involved Brainwave controlling all the adults in Blue Valley, leaving them frozen to the spot. To personify the horror of what’s happening, we witness a scared young girl trying to wake her dad from this strange state.

The advent of Disney Plus last November meant we got a look at a bunch of Avengers: Endgame deleted scenes that we never saw before. One of the more notable was a sequence originally intended to slot in after Iron Man uses the Infinity Stones at the movie’s climax. In one sense, the scene adds an extra emotional weight to Tony’s sacrifice and also gives him some more closure. However, in another, it arguably opens up a massive plot hole, so perhaps it’s for the best that it was removed from the final cut.

Fans had so many questions about the nuts and bolts of Avengers: Endgame once they got to see it back in April. And after all these months, many of them have now been answered thanks to the release of the movie’s script. Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely’s mammoth 149-page screenplay has arrived online and features additional scenes and descriptions that better explain certain parts of the film.
In particular, the script helps clear up any mystery over a few characters’ ages. We’ve previously reported on how it confirms that the elderly Steve Rogers is officially 112 years old by the time he’s sitting on that bench but what’s more is that it also reveals exactly how old two of the Avengers’ offspring are in Endgame. Namely, Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Emma Furhmann) and Morgan Stark (Lexi Rabe), child of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.

It's been long enough that Knives Out actress Katherine Langford can finally speak out about her deleted Avengers: Endgame scene without getting in trouble with the Marvel police. While visiting The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, the actress confirmed that her scene had been cut for creative purposes, but admitted that she was just happy to have been part of the film.
"I'm such a huge fan of the Marvel films and the Russo brothers . . . I was just content with having the memory in my head," she told Fallon. "To play with Robert Downey on the last scene he was Iron Man, on the last day that he was Iron Man, that was just amazing."
The 23-year-old actress went on to call Downey and the experience "magical," and noted that Marvel fans are the reason the scene is even there to see. "That's what I was told, that...

Seven-year-old actress Lexi Rabe, who was recently seen as Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame, has today issued a statement to the world: “please don’t bully me.” Pull the plug; the Internet was a mistake.
For those not in the know, Rabe was targeted by one fan online, seemingly disgruntled at the fact that her and her mother were unable to stop and sign an autograph or pose for a photograph. In a video posted via Instagram, Rabe’s mother acknowledged that the young actress, who also starred in last month’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, can act goofy and “silly” while in public, before reminding the world that she’s just seven years old.
Per Instagram:
I hate that we even have to post this. But yet again Lexi’s getting bullied. And this kind of thing makes it celebrities never want to leave the house never want to meet people.

The grade-schooler told Good Morning America she was at a mall in Los Angeles when a fan grew upset that she didn’t have a chance to speak with the star, and subsequently chastised Lexi’s parents and criticized her on social media.

You’d think that Tony Stark’s heroic sacrifice to save humanity at the end of Avengers: Endgame would have taught people to chill out and be nice to everyone because, guess what, half the universe could disappear in an instant. Unfortunately, that lesson didn’t translate into the real world.
Iron Man’s real-life family, specifically the seven-year-old actress Lexi Rabe and her parents, have recently come under siege from disgruntled fans, both on and offline. It’s gotten to be so disruptive to their lives, in fact, that they had to take to social media to specifically ask people to stop harassing them.

Aside from plenty of melancholy moments and action-packed setpieces, Avengers: Endgame is full of surprising cameos, including the final appearance of legendary comic book writer Stan Lee, who passed away late last year at the age of 95. Even though the latest Marvel film saw the unlikely return of minor players such as Jane Foster and Howard Stark, among many others, there’s one interesting character that got cut from the final theatrical release.
As we previously reported, late last year, 13 Reasons Why starlet Katherine Langford joined the cast of Avengers: Endgame, though, at the time, her mysterious role was kept under wraps. In October 2018, way back before Avengers: Endgame was released and everything involving the film was still a mystery, The Wrap revealed that13 Reasons Why actress Katherine Langford had joined the cast in an unknown role. It was reported that Langford had already shot her scenes and her mysterious role was an important one. Fast forward to April 26, 2019, and Endgame was finally released without a shred of Langford to be seen! Langford has kept mum on her character's absence, but directors Joe and Anthony Russo have finally explained who she was and why she was cut.
During an appearance on Josh Horowitz's HappySadConfused podcast, the Russo brothers revealed that Langford had been tapped to play the teenage version of Tony Stark's 5-year-old daughter Morgan, played as a child by Lexi Rabe. Langford was meant to appear toward the end of the film, during the giant superhero battle between all the Avengers and Thanos.
