When a new trailer for a game arrives, fans are usually eager about the gameplay and relevant details that follow. In the case of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, the community seems to be quite vocal about a certain character aspect that has annoyed the studio.
Space Marine 2 is the latest entry in the Warhammer 40K franchise that takes the third-person shooter genre for a spin and lets players fight thousands of Tyranid swarms as they battle for humanity. Well, at least as long as players are focused on the right things on screen.

The Warhammer 40K universe is known for its dark, gritty, and brutal storytelling, and Space Marine 2 seems like it won’t be an exception. The protagonist, Captain Titus, has been through hell and back since the first game, and it’s no wonder he’s now a more bitter and ruthless character.
Fans who have followed his journey will understand why he’s become so hardened, and for newcomers, his transformation will definitely make for a compelling story.
Is Space Marine 2 a Prequel or a Sequel?
Captain Titus returns in Space Marine 2.
In the first game, released in 2011, Captain Titus was a very noble and heroic figure, a perfect example of what it means to be a Space Marine. He fought valiantly against the Ork invasion of the Forge World Graia, displaying a great sense of duty and doing his job very well.

The gaming world is right now anticipating the release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. This third-person hack and slash game is going to release on September 20, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows. Due to the same intergalactic setting, this title is going to be a heavy competitor to Helldivers 2.
Right now, the Arrowhead Games space-invading title is ruling the co-op multiplayer arena, and there’s no stopping it. However, Space Marine 2 brings a unique feature that Helldivers 2 fans are missing badly.

If you’re still in Shōgun withdrawal, you can look forward to Peacock’s own take on a lavish historical epic this summer. Robert Rodat (Saving Private Ryan) is behind the small-screen adaptation of Those About to Die, Daniel P. Mannix’s book of the same name, which was also the inspiration for Ridley Scott and David Franzioni’s Gladiator.
This new period drama will come racing to our screens on July 18, with the decline of the Roman Empire as its backdrop. Peacock released a teaser for the series, starring Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hughes, and Iwan Rheon, among others, last month. And the streamer is now moving full speed ahead on promo with new images, including closer looks at the Roman Emperor Flavius Vespasian (Hopkins), who founded the Flavian dynasty; Titus (Hughes), Flavius’ son and successor; and games master Tenax.

The addictive blend of gritty sci-fi and brutal action in the universe of Warhammer 40,000 is about to see a big expansion, as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2011 game, has been confirmed for release this year.
Bringing with it a story and gameplay mechanics best described as a cross between “Helldivers 2 and God of War,” there’s much to be excited about for Space Marine 2, and even renowned Hollywood actor and Warhammer 40K fan Henry Cavill could attest to that.

Scream Factory has just released Killer Klowns from Outer Space in 4K to celebrate its 35th Anniversary, and what an exciting time to be a fan of the 1980s movie. With the recent surge of Klownapalooza happening in the past few years, including tons of merch made available by Spirit Halloween and the much-anticipated video game scheduled to be released next month, it seems apropos for the Klowns to finally make their 4K debut.
In 1988, the Chiodo Brothers took their seemingly ridiculous premise of having otherworldly monsters in the form of circus clowns land on Earth to wreak havoc on a quiet little town and produced it into a full-length motion picture. Inspired by creature features and B-movies alike, their unconventional film with a deliberately hokey title would garner an initially significant following that evolved into a major cult classic close to four decades later.

After premiering at the 2024 Sundance Festival and screening at the New Directors/New Films festival, Titus Kaphar’s directorial debut has been acquired by Roadside Attractions, IndieWire can confirm. It will open nationwide this fall for awards season.

Zack Snyder has always managed to polarize viewers with his projects. He did it when he was at the helm of the Dceu, with some of his choices deemed a little scandalous. On the flip side, Snyder has garnered a massive fanbase, by primarily adapting comics into action films that satisfy the so-called ‘fanboys.’
The director’s new film, Rebel Moon- Part Two: The Scargiver, tells a very similar tale. While the second installment of the franchise has been panned by critics, the audience feels very differently about it. A few even believe that it might be better than Dune 2, the biggest hit of the year.

Plot: Kora (Sofia Boutella) and the rebels she recruited prepare to battle with the full force of Atticus Noble’s (Ed Skrein) Imperium.
Review: I took a bit of heat for my positive review of Rebel Moon Part One a few months ago, but I make no apologies for the fact that I found it an immersive, entertaining epic. I liked it a lot more than the last few Star Wars movies (particularly The Rise of Skywalker). So, I was eager to see the story reach its conclusion with Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver. While an entertaining, action-packed end to the saga, it’s also a clear-cut case of why Snyder’s longer director’s cuts should have been the only ones hitting Netflix. Even more than in the first film, this feels awkwardly fast-paced and anti-climactic at times due to the story having no room to breathe.

Finding acceptance in one’s own self is the first and most important part of redemption, which is the central theme in the recently released Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver, the second movie entry in Zack Snyder’s space opera franchise. Set in the fictional galactic empire centered on Motherworld, the first part of Netflix’s Rebel Moon 1 managed to draw viewers’ attention thanks to the narrative similarity it shared with Seven Samurai and Star Wars: Rogue One, uniting a ragtag group of warriors to stand against a cosmic dictatorship, but the lack of originality in Snyder’s vision made for a rather forgettable experience. Releasing shortly after the release of the first part, the sequel had a chance to expand the lore by utilizing the creative freedom provided to the makers, but it ends up venturing merely knee-deep into the past lives of the key characters showcased in...

Wheat. So much wheat.
That’s the main takeaway from the second installment of Zack Snyder’s interplanetary space saga that, depending on your perspective, either pays homage to or shamelessly rips off previous epics ranging from Seven Samurai to Star Wars. If you add up the running times of both Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver and the first film, it amounts to well over four hours. It’s not surprising, considering that this one features a sequence in which the characters harvest wheat for what seems longer than a Swedish art film. And I know that the setting is supposed to be an alternate universe, but considering that it features space ships and technically advanced weaponry, it seems a bit absurd that farming hasn’t advanced beyond scythes. Although the extremely buff performers look damn good wielding them.
Such musings are unavoidable when confronted with this would-be epic,...

How did Craig Titus go from bodybuilding champion to convicted murderer? The April 14 episode of true crime series Sin City Murders dives into the twisted story of Titus, who in 2008 pleaded guilty to murdering Melissa James.
According to retired bodybuilder Shawn Ray, who knew Titus from the bodybuilding circuit, things started to go wrong once Titus started to succumb to “the temptations of Sin City.”
Craig Titus was ‘dedicated’ to his sport, Shawn Ray says
Ray opens up about Titus in the upcoming episode of Oxygen True Crime’s Sin City Murders.
“My experience with Craig was that he was dedicated,” Ray says in a clip from the show.
Titus’s commitment to bodybuilding propelled him to the top of his sport.
“Craig was a hardcore bodybuilder. He finished second in the Olympia twice, second in the world,” explains Lonnie Teper, a bodybuilding journalist and emcee. “He won the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic.

This post contains spoilers for Prime Video's "Fallout."
The ingenuity of the "Fallout" video games extends beyond their post-apocalyptic worldbuilding and snazzy combat mechanics — they are role-playing experiences that feel intuitive, bizarre, and challenging all at once. To capture these medium-specific idiosyncrasies in a television adaptation of a beloved franchise is a tall order, and Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan's "Fallout" understands what it means to inhabit such a broken, retrofuturist society. The end of the first season of "Fallout" is also the beginning, as it promises a new world and sets the stage for chaos and order, with the sway of the pendulum suspended until darker truths emerge. For franchise enthusiasts, it is a familiar story reinvented in meaningful, riveting ways. For newcomers, it is an intriguing post-apocalyptic setting that oscillates between gleeful sarcasm and heartbreaking pathos.

A stark wooden cross stands in a moonlit cemetery in the opening episode of Fallout, Amazon’s eccentric and capacious adaptation of the video game series. From each arm hangs an IV bag that feeds a yellow liquid into a grave. There lies the body of Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins), an erstwhile cowboy who struck gold as a western film star before being blacklisted for alleged communist affiliations. Cooper lived in a distinctively retro-futurist United States. In this alternate universe, the 2070s were marked by escalating war between America and China and seemingly stuck in the 1950s, with black-and-white TVs and classic cars—plus robots that helped apron-clad homemakers around the house. Then the bombs fell, in a bout of mutually assured destruction that eradicated almost all life on Earth.
More than 200 years after the nuclear calamity, a trio of wary mercenaries dig up Cooper’s tomb and find a coffin chained shut.

Elden Ring is a game of different builds. If they understand this game better, every player out there would have a unique build of their own. And each of those builds would be very effective and allow them to make quick work out of numerous enemies. But sometimes, some gamers come with a build that makes things much better for them, like being able to kill Mohg in seconds, for instance.
A YouTuber has come up with a very similar build. And they have also suggested that players should try going for a strength build instead of dexterity for bleed damage. And this build seems somewhat effective, no doubt.
Here’s how one can create a powerful strength build.

This article contains spoilers for "Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire."
Hear me out: "Rebel Moon" isn't actually as bad as you might think. Sure, Netflix's latest team-up with bro auteur Zack Snyder can feel more like a love letter to older, better movies than it does a story all its own. The streamer's request for a more family-friendly version of Snyder's vision also didn't help, as the PG-13 cut of the film seems woefully incomplete in some respects. But even with the knowledge of a reportedly better, R-rated cut of "Rebel Moon" sitting hostage on some Netflix executive's hard drive, there's still a lot to like about the film as is.
With "Rebel Moon," Snyder set out to remix epics like "Star Wars" and "Seven Samurai" — and if you squint, his liberal homages serve this story quite well, especially where the characters of "Rebel Moon" are concerned.

The war is here and everyone must be ready in the first teaser trailer for part two of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.
Sofia Boutella as Kora and Djimon Hounsou as Titus take center stage alongside a slew of intimidating ships and weapons in the two-minute first look at the upcoming film, which offers brief teases of other returning Rebel Moon Part One cast members.
“Gather every hunting rifle, every knife, every round of ammunition in the village,” says Hounsou’s Titus between sequences of villagers training and the arrival of imposing enemy ships. “The time has come, for all that you love — show them no mercy!”
Arriving four months after the premiere of Part One: A Child of Fire, Snyder’s The Scargiver will continue his epic saga, with Kora and the surviving warriors preparing to sacrifice everything as they fight alongside the people of Veldt.

During a Geeked Week Q&a, Snyder discussed creating the world of Rebel Moon.

Netflix continues to bet big on Zack Snyder, providing him the budget and scope to launch his own, original sci-fi franchise with Rebel Moon. And, as the first part of the saga, A Child Of Fire prepares to invade our screens in a little more than a month, here's the giant new trailer showing of the scope and ambition of his combat-happy film:

If you plan to experience the first part of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon in theaters, a road trip could be in your future. Rebel Moon: Part One: A Child of Fire is getting a special 70mm theatrical release in select cities. The limited-time event runs from December 15-21 at the following locations: Los Angeles (Egyptian Theatre), New York City (Paris Theater), Toronto (TIFF Bell Lightbox), and London (Prince Charles Cinema). Rebel Moon then comes to Netflix on December 22.
While I prefer the comfort of my living room to a theater for most movies debuting after the pandemic, Snyder’s loyal fans could leap at the opportunity to see Rebel Moon on the silver screen in a sweet 70mm format. There’s nothing quite like seeing an anticipated film in cinemas, and Snyder is doing everything he can to make this year-end event something to remember. Thankfully, Snyder plans to go all-out for Rebel Moon,...

Polish movies in the past were used as voices of protest against the harrowing fates of the inhabitants during the Second World War. These days, however, up-and-coming directors realize that the mainstream audience wants fast cars, fast-paced action sequences, and the ability to kick back and enjoy a movie without having to put too much thought into it. Mateusz Rakowicz’s 2023 action thriller Mother’s Day ticks all these boxes, in addition to showcasing just how dangerous a woman on a mission can be. Agnieszka Grochowska stars as Nina, a former soldier who must go through multiple waves of enemies to save her son, but the catch is that he doesn’t know of her existence. With a runtime of 1 hour and 34 minutes, the movie is the perfect thing to watch on Netflix this week if you’re looking for some mindless action and want to watch crazy villains get a good thrashing.

This Star Trek: Picard article contains spoilers.
From the beginning, the third season of Star Trek: Picard has been the Next Generation reunion the series’ previous two seasons have avoided. So far, the season has brought Jean-Luc Picard back into the orbit of Will Riker and Beverly Crusher, used iconography and theme music from the beloved 1990s series, and even caught up with Worf, Deanna Troi, and the Laforge family. Plus, there’s a new version of the USS Titan, with the Enterprise-f also on the way.
The third episode, “Seventeen Seconds,” even brought back actor Henry Dekker, who first appeared as Picard’s Nexus-induced Victorian son Thomas in Star Trek: Generations, to play a mysterious villain named Titus Rikka. But when that stranger’s face suddenly started to melt, Picard turned its attention to a completely different Trek series: Deep Space Nine.

We never can say goodbye, and that is especially true when it comes to beloved TV shows. The post-finale spinoff has always been a popular way to keep a franchise going.
In recent decades, some of these spinoffs have been just as good as the original: I would lead with “Frasier,” out of “Cheers,” of course, which put Kelsey Grammer’s character front and center, making him just as iconic as Ted Danson’s Sam Malone. And “Better Call Saul,” an idea that began as a bit of a lark when “Breaking Bad” was ending. Of course, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould wound up creating something richer — a show led by Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn that went to dramatically dense places no one could have predicted. It’s an immediate spin-off all-timer. “The Good Fight” continued the legacy of “The Good Wife,” but shifted the focus to Christine Baranski.
