Sometimes, the people who make the biggest difference aren’t the ones who grab the spotlight. In “Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie,” we get to see firsthand how our lovable introvert, Marcie, makes a monumental difference from behind the scenes for both her friends and her community. To train for the school golf championship, Marcie assists Peppermint Patty as her caddie, offering thoughtful and deliberate advice to help her win. Meanwhile, after coming up with brilliant solutions to her classmates’ problems – from hallway traffic jams to lunchtime pizza shortages – Marcie is unexpectedly elected as class president … a role she never wanted.
Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, Marcie struggles to cope with the expectations of her new job and retreats as far from the public eye as possible. As the golf championship begins, Marcie is still in hiding and Peppermint Patty is forced to tee off with Charlie Brown filling in as her caddie.

It’s still Caillou‘s world, we’re all just living (and swimming) in it.
The proof of that is in TVLine’s exclusive first look at Caillou: Adventures With Grandma and Grandpa, a new CGI special hitting Peacock on Thursday, Aug. 25. The titular tyke can’t wait to go swimming with his grandparents, and it’s quite literally all he — or anyone else in his family — can talk about. We hope nothing exciting happened in anyone else’s day, because this dinner conversation will be restricted to talk of “splish” and (time permitting) also “splash.”

The Peanuts gang are ringing in the holidays with another New Year’s Eve special. Apple TV Plus has announced a new Peanuts TV installment, “For Auld Lang Syne,” which will premiere globally on Friday, Dec. 10.
“For Auld Lang Syne” — the first Peanuts TV special ever with a title that does not include the name of Charlie Brown or Snoopy — is also the first new original holiday special to come following a partnership struck by Apple last year with WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions to bring together new original series and specials, along with the library titles all in one place.
“For Auld Lang Syne” is the second New Year’s Eve-themed special to come from Peanuts, following “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown,” which first premiered on CBS in 1986.
