If YouTube popularity is fickle, Ricky Dillon -- an early star who rose to fame as part of the YouTube collab channel Our2ndLife -- has found an inventive way to keep a viable career on the platform.

Today, however, the 27-year-old vlogger and author is back with a duo of decidedly darker follow-up tracks: "Honestly" and "Honesty (Encore)," which she combined into one giant-sized music video on her YouTube channel that has already amassed 1.5 million views.
"Honestly" and "Honestly (Encore)" have soared to unprecedented heights for Hanna, who first rose to fame on Vine. The songs claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the U.S. iTunes charts across all genres yesterday upon their debut, Hanna said. According to Pop Crave, she is only the third artist to achieve such a feat in 2018 after Shawn Mendes and Cardi B. Today, "Honestly" is in the No.

The Gabbie Show is hitting the big time. That channel's leading lady, Gabbie Hanna, has signed with talent agency CAA for representation in all areas.
Hanna rose to digital prominence due in large part to her presence on Vine, but now that Twitter's six-second video platform is no more, she has devoted much of her creative energy tow YouTube, where The Gabbie Show -- which features vlogs, sketches, collaborations, and other assorted formats -- has more than 4.5 million subscribers. Her most popular video, in which she remakes her sister's Musical.ly clips, has received more than 20 million views to date.
Thanks to her popularity, Hanna has unlocked a number of offline projects. She served as one of the performers for Fullscreen's Drop The Mic event series, and she recently announced her first book, titled Adultolescence, which will become available in September. She has also picked up acting roles in several projects led by YouTube stars,...

With close to 30,000 attendees, a slew of brand sponsors, thousands of digital media, advertising, marketing, and entertainment industry executives, and over 300 featured creators—not to mention all the prominent creators who aren’t featured—the massive online video industry event that is VidCon is a fantastic, if not hectic, time and place to make some deals. But navigating the four-day event and making the most of the opportunities within isn’t something one can do with a lackadaisical attitude. It takes careful planning, plenty of caffeine, a keen business sense, and some social charm.
And perhaps few people do VidCon better than Andrew Graham.
VidCon 2017 marks five years of attending for Graham, who is truly an industry vet. Having worked as a senior talent manager at both Fullscreen and Big Frame, Graham has been at CAA since last April, managing talent like Connor Franta (with whom he and Jeremy Wineberg...

Gabbie Hanna is getting artsy with her inaugural literary project -- a poetry collection called Adultolescence that will also feature original illustrations by the Vine-star-turned social luminary.
Hanna, who goes by The Gabbie Show online, announced the project today across her social channels, and also released a YouTube video in which she unveiled the venture while reading passages from her teenage diary. Adultolescence, which is being published by Simon & Schuster, will seek to “capture the essence of what it means to come of age in today’s world,” according to a jacket description. The 150 poems -- and 150 corresponding illustrations -- are described as “confessional, whimsical, and darkly humorous.”
