Educated at Hinchingbrooke Grammar School in England, Paul captained his school's rugby team and the Cambridgeshire County team, while simultaneously nurturing a passion for music. He made his stage debut at age 10 with the Cambridge Music School.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Buckinghamshire University, Paul was awarded a three-year scholarship to the Millennium Theatre School in London. He balanced his academic pursuits with rigorous training, earning a diploma in performing arts.
Paul was the first British performer to be cast as the lead role 'Johnny Castle' in the original 2006 London production of 'Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story On Stage,' a role made iconic by the late Patrick Swayze. His performance earned special acknowledgment from Eleanor Bergstein, the writer of the film.
Paul was signed to Models 1 London and appeared in Italian Vogue alongside Kate Moss in shoots by renowned photographers Tim Walker and Mario Testino. He spent a year at the Ruskin School of Acting in Los Angeles, studying the Meisner Technique.
