In a recent court filing, a security guard who worked for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt claims that Jolie allegedly urged their children to “avoid” their father during visitations.
The revelation emerges amidst the ongoing and increasingly contentious legal battle between the ex-couple over their French winery, Chateau Miraval. Tony Webb, the owner of a security company, submitted a 12-page statement to the L.A. Superior Court which stated that he was previously employed by Jolie from 2000 to 2020 but continues to work for Pitt.
Webb’s declaration asserts that he received a call from one of Jolie’s aides, Michael Vieira, who sought assistance to dissuade two bodyguards who had previously worked for Jolie through Webb’s company, from testimony in her custody battle with Pitt.
The two contractors were expected to testify in the family court case about their children, some of whom have now reached adult age: Maddox,...

Nothing says evil like a pair of protruding sharpened horns, cheekbones you could eat your dinner off and a set of wings the caped crusader would envy. Except perhaps cabbage – cabbage would make it even more evil. However, as there are no instances of brassica oleracea in the new trailer for Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil you’ll have to make do with Angelina Jolie looking angry and flying about in a huff.
The sequel sees Jolie and Elle Fanning reprising their roles as Maleficent and Aurora in a new story that picks up several years after their first adventure.
Newcomers to the series include Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, Robert Lindsay and Harris Dickinson as Prince Phillip. Angelina Jolie returns for Disney sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which is coming in time for Halloween.
Following the sizeable success of the original, Disney moved ahead with a sequel to its 2014 Sleeping Beauty-inspired film, Maleficent. While the first film, directed by Robert Stromberg, already told the story of Sleeping Beauty from the villain's point-of-view --all while turning said awesome villain into the boring hero of the story--Disney is convinced there is more money... err, story left to find in the property!
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is the official name of the sequel. The film reunites Angelina Jolie with her Princess Aurora, Elle Fanning. This is Jolie's first sequel since Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, all the way back in 2003. And since she passed on sequels for Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Wanted, and Salt, this is kind of a big deal.

Angelina Jolie’s labour of Love and Netflix original film, First They Killed My Father, has a dialogue free,
yet powerfully emotive first trailer.
Directed, Produced and co-adapted for the big screen by Jolie and Cambodian author and human rights activist, Loung Ung from Ung’s memoir of the same name. The film depicts the indomitable spirit and devotion of Loung and her family as they struggle to stay together during the Khmer Rouge years.
The trailer starts through the eyes of the young Ung, with joyous children dancing and enjoying some quality family time at their home before the tone shifts abruptly as Us Marines enter the country with a lone helicopter flying over the house as TV coverage emerges of their arrival. It quickly shoots to scenes of Women and Child slavery as the Cambodian way of life under the Khmer Rouge regime, turns everything...

One of the more curious projects that has yet to screen this year is Angelina Jolie Pitt’s follow-up to Unbroken, the intimate drama By the Sea. Co-starring alongside her husband, Brad Pitt, Jolie also scripted the feature, which follows them as a couple on a getaway in 1970’s France. The story specifically finds Jolie as Vanessa, a former dancer and Pitt as Roland, a writer, both entangled in a crumbling marriage as they find rejuvenation after coming across a quiet, seaside village. Today now brings a promising new trailer for the film set to debut at AFI Fest soon.
“I wanted to suggest and guide and give hints to the audience but not bore them or reveal all before the film itself. I like trailers that don’t explain the whole film; that tell you exactly what to expect,” Angelina Jolie Pitt tells EW. “It isn’t my intention...
