Amcomri Entertainment has inked a four-picture deal with M & M Film Productions.
Under the terms of the deal, Amcomri will become M & M’s official financing partner, co-financing a slate of movies with the U.K.-based production house.
Amcomri’s sales arm, 101 Films International, will distribute the films.
The deal came about following this year’s Cannes, where 101 Films premiered “Fear the Invisible Man,” an M & M production. M & M was founded in 2018 by Malcolm Winter and Monika Gergelova.
101 Films are also set to distribute Amcomri and M & M’s upcoming co-production “Christmas At The Holly Day Inn,” which stars Tamla Kari (“The Inbetweeners”), pictured above. The family-friendly film, about a high-flying exec who quits her job and flees to her dad’s country inn for Christmas, is written by Lisa Chapman (“Law of Attraction”) and directed by Adam Wilson (“Crawl To Me Darling”).

3.10 We Are The Garrison
So here we are, the end of both the third series and the show. It’s been a funny old run, never quite meeting the dramatic highs of the second nor the freshness of the first, but that’s not to say it didn’t have its moments. It is somewhat fitting that We Are The Garrison reflects the series as a whole – it ticks all the boxes but does so in a somewhat workmanlike manner. It's a fitting end to the show - good, mostly satisfying but lacking that certain something that would set it distinctly apart.
It was fantastic to see the Musketeers being placed unequivocally front and centre. All four actors embraced their final moments in these characters and each shone. Writer and showrunner Simon Allen has done a good job to ensure that no one...

The rumours have been rife, but now we have it 100% confirmed - Jenna Coleman is leaving Doctor Who, which means the hunt is on for her replacement.
Who's fit to follow in Clara's footsteps? 12 suggestions follow - from the silly to the serious.
Jenna Coleman will star as Queen Victoria in a major new ITV drama
1. Ingrid Oliver
Unit scientist Osgood - first name as yet undisclosed - is perhaps the natural choice to replace Clara.
Smart, plucky and with a taste for adventure, she's got all the qualities one looks for in a companion - and was already eyed as a potential by the Doctor before her untimely demise ("All of time and space - something for your bucket list.").
Now that she's apparently returned from the dead, perhaps Osgood could step aboard the Tardis in series nine - providing she's not a Zygon duplicate.

The Musketeers creator Adrian Hodges has stepped down as showrunner ahead of the upcoming third series.
Hodges adapted Alexandre Dumas's novel for BBC One, but revealed to Geek Syndicate that he will not be back for the next run.
"I just felt that after the last season I was totally knackered," he said. "I love the show but it had been a very intensive two... well, four years really - and what I didn't want to do was go straight into developing a new season. I just didn't quite have the energy to do that."
BBC One was able to recommission The Musketeers thanks to financial backing from BBC Worldwide and BBC America, who also contributed to the first two series.

The Musketeers tops off a strong second series with a fitting finale in which Marc Warren really made the villain's role his own...

2.10 Trial And Punishment
So this is it, the end of series 2. It’s been a fair old journey with some excellent highs and fortunately not many lows (not to mention far too many interruptions – damn you sport and charity!). The series finale often seems to linger, perhaps unfairly, as the one remembered by most and considered a yard stick for the run as a whole. In that respect, Trial And Punishment (written by Simon Allen and directed by Nicholas Renton), is a fitting end to what has been a really strong season.
Perhaps the most vivid image from last week's preview was of a haunted Constance being led to the executioner. It was with some surprise then, that this opened the episode, as...

NBC's remake of the BBC sitcom Cuckoo has cast Jane the Virgin actress Rachel Dipillo.
Like the original, the Us Cuckoo will tell the story of a middle-class family who react badly when their daughter marries an irritating eccentric named Cuckoo.
Cuckoo - played by Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg in the UK series - will be portrayed by YouTube star Flula Borg in the remake.
Dipillo will play his new wife Rachel - a part held by Tamla Kari and later Esther Smith in the UK series.
Airing on BBC Three, the original Cuckoo underwent a revamp for its second series, with Twilight star Taylor Lautner replacing Samberg.
NBC's version is under consideration for a series pick-up alongside other comedy pilots including People Are Talking starring Saved By The Bell's Mark-Paul Gosselaar and a remake of 1990 film Problem Child with Matthew Lillard.

The BBC has ordered a third series of Adrian Hodges The Musketeers, which is due to start filming in April 2015...
The Musketeers, as our series two reviews show, has been going from strength to strength (despite a messy Friday night schedule for these past few weeks due to football, and now rugby).
It may have lost Peter Capaldi to Doctor Who, but Marc Warren's villainous Rochefort is beginning to fill those antagonist shoes nicely. The rest of the cast too, from leads Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Howard Charles and Santiago Cabrera to supporting castmembers Ryan Gage, Tamla Kari, Maimie McCoy and Alexandra Dowling, have shaped up into a fine squad.
News of the show's third series renewal then, as announced at the start of this week by BBC Worldwide and BBC America (The Musketeers is partly financed, and goes out, internationally), comes as welcome indeed.

The Musketeers' winning streak continues this week, but is the supporting cast starting to eclipse the Musketeers themselves?
This review contains spoilers.
2.3 The Good Traitor
Last week’s An Ordinary Man brought excitement and danger through some strong writing and performances, and could certainly be considered up there with the best the series has had to offer. It was a good example of how a Musketeers’ story can be told that reflects the excitement and adventure of the source material but in a manner that modern audiences would enjoy – exactly what we’ve been wanting from this adaptation. The question was of course – is this a one-off? Have they peaked early ? Well, in The Good Traitor the cast and writers have done an excellent job of picking up where An Ordinary Man left off – certainly being the equal in writing, performance and direction.

It's been an eventful nine months for The Musketeers - both on- and off-screen - since we last saw Athos, Aramis, Porthos and D'Artagnan ride off into the sunset.
Launching with an audience of 9.3m in January 2014, the period romp became the BBC's biggest new drama since Call The Midwife - but while a second series was quickly ordered, the show was soon hit by the loss of its chief antagonist.
Departing for Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi - who'd played devious Cardinal Richelieu - left The Musketeers without a villain, but when Digital Spy visited the Prague set in September, spirits among the cast and crew were far from dampened.

Almost two years after it broke BBC Three ratings records, Cuckoo is back.

I recently discovered the hilarious British comedy series The Inbetweeners on Netflix and spent a few weeks savoring all 18 episodes and the equally side-splitting Inbetweeners Movie. Though a lot of the humor is pretty low-brow, the four dirty-minded teenagers at its center are all terrifically funny – which is why I was thrilled to find out today that The Inbetweeners 2 is on its way.
The sequel, which British audiences will see in August, finds actors Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas reprising their roles as Will, Jay, Neil and Simon, who decide to reunite for a road trip in Australia. “You know why they call it Down Under – because that’s where your face spends most of the time!” proclaims Jay, the group’s resident pervert. BBC America today set a June 22 premiere date for The Musketeers and a second season pickup for the series, which it co-produces with BBC Worldwide. The Musketeers, a BBC Drama production for BBC One, already was renewed by the flagship BBC network last month. A contemporary take on the classic Alexandre Dumas characters, The Musketeers, created by Adrian Hodges (My Week With Marilyn), is set on the streets of seventeenth century Paris, where law and order is an idea more than a reality. In addition to being King Louis Xiii’s personal bodyguards, Athos, Aramis and Porthos stand resolutely for social justice, honor, valor, love – and for the thrill of it. Luke Pasqualino (The Borgias) stars as D’Artagnan alongside Tom Burke (Great Expectations) as Athos, Santiago Cabrera (Heroes) as Aramis and Howard Charles (Royal Shakespeare Company) as Porthos. Peter Capaldi, Maimie McCoy, Tamla Kari and Hugo Speer also star.

Luke Pasqualino's d'Artagnan was the star of The Musketeers' first episode but hasn't really taken focus since, so it's refreshing to see the plucky young hero return very much to the forefront for 'The Challenge' - the adventure serial's latest outing.
Romance might finally be blossoming with Tamla Kari's comely Constance, but elsewhere d'Artagnan's fortunes are less favourable. He's yet to become a true Musketeer and a new nemesis also lurks on the horizon, the fearsome brute Labarge - with guest star Vinnie Jones taking on the sort of period villain role he's not attempted since the music video for Westlife's 'Bop Bop Baby'.
Jones might be a one-trick pony, but it's a trick he's undeniably good at performing and it's enormous fun seeing his cockney hardman routine relocated to 17th Century Paris.

The Musketeers delivers a fun, enjoyable episode this week, just don't probe the plot too deeply...
This review contains spoilers.
1.8 The Challenge
Last week’s episode saw The Musketeers triumphantly return to the form seen much earlier in their season, winning back some spark and fun and more importantly, not fumbling the eventual pay off of weeks of flirting and smouldering between D’Artagnan and Constance. Hopes were therefore high that as we continue to move closer towards the end of the season, plots threads would resolve and stakes would escalate to give us an entertaining end to what has been, at times, an impressive show.
The Challenge sees the Musketeers face off against the Cardinal’s Red Guards, precipitated by an impromptu scrap caused by Vinnie Jones’ Labarge rampaging through the streets of Paris. However, this episode was never about who has the best troops,...

"What is the role of women in this age of wonder?"
Feeling rather like a retort - albeit an unwitting one - to critics like myself who've questioned the negligble role afforded women on The Musketeers, 'A Rebellious Woman' sees our heroes encounter a new phenomenon: feminism.
Leading the charge is the rebellious woman of the episode's title. Actress Annabelle Wallis brought a gentle, almost ethereal quality to her role in BBC One's Peaky Blinders last year and impresses again here as spirited trailblazer Ninon De Larroque.
Ninon is seeking to educate the young women of Paris - even the lowliest servant girls - but her efforts have placed her in opposition not only to the city's stubborn menfolk but also the Cardinal, who is urged to crush the troublesome De Larroque to secure a position as the new Pope.

Taylor Lautner is shedding his former life as a werewolf and is becoming a comedy star. Lautner will star in the BBC sitcom “Cuckoo.” According to People, the sitcom, originally starring Andy Samberg, followed a culture clash that happens when a middle-class English girl Rachel (Tamla Kari) brings home a hippie husband (nicknamed “Cuckoo”) after meeting him abroad. Of course, the hijinks ensue when her parents (Greg Davies and Helen Baxendale) realize that she’s been transformed into a spiritual, New Age convert. Samberg starred in the original first season, but had to forego his role in the second season due to the filming of Fox’s award-winning sitcom, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” Lautner’s [ Read More ]

Taylor Lautner will star in a new small screen role. The “Twilight” actor will replace Andy Samberg on the British Comedy, “Cuckoo.” The series followed a British girl, Rachel (Tamla Kari), who returns from the United States after a hiatus from school with an American husband named Cuckoo, played by Samberg. “I’m delighted to welcome it back with the addition of superstar Taylor Lautner,” said BBC Three controller Zai Bennett. Hollywood actor and star of the Twilight franchise, Taylor Lautner is set to join the second series of BAFTA-nominated comedy Cuckoo on BBC Three.
Taylor Lautner starred as Jacob Black in the blockbuster Twilight saga. He will play a handsome and mysterious stranger in the new series of Cuckoo, who turns up in Lichfield where life in the Thompson household is only just getting back to normal after the disappearance of Cuckoo (Andy Samberg) while on walkabout in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Ken (Greg Davies) and Lorna (Helen Baxendale) are looking forward to a future without the kids under their feet. Dylan (Tyger Drew-Honey) is about to go to university and Rachel (Tamla Kari) is rebuilding her life with her new boyfriend, a nice-but-dull lawyer, Ben. Despite appearances, Cuckoo’s absence is still felt – not least by his young widow, Rachel. Everyone worries she’s lost her mojo since the tragic events in Asia.

Twilight star Taylor Lautner must be having a great birthday, as news just came out that he is set to join the cast of Cuckoo, a culture-clashing comedy hit that airs on the BBC.
Lautner, who turns 22 on Feb. 11, will have big (clown) shoes to fill on the show – he is replacing comedian Andy Samberg as the lead male actor.

Twilight's Taylor Lautner is the surprise replacement for Andy Samberg in BBC Three's second series of Cuckoo.
Samberg exits the show after one series, following the huge success of his Fox sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Many predicted the BBC Three comedy would end with his departure.

However, the casting of Hollywood star Lautner has revived the sitcom, which also stars Greg Davies, Helen Baxendale, Tamla Kari and Tyger Drew-Honey.
The first series of Cuckoo won a record-breaking launch audience for BBC Three and also earned two British Comedy Award nominations.
Series two picks up with Samberg's character Cuckoo missing - presumed dead - in the Himalayas, and his young widow Rachel (Kari) is still suffering from the loss of her husband.
Lautner is cast as "a handsome and mysterious young stranger" in Lichfield, who shakes up the fragile equilibrium.

Perhaps it was once watching him beat Luke Pasqualino to death with a bat back in his Skins days, but I'd suspected that there was a darker side to Hugo Speer's Captain Treville and those seeds bear fruit in another strong edition of BBC One's The Musketeers.
Similar to last week's instalment, 'The Good Soldier' uses a thriller plot to shed light on characters' backstories - both Treville and Santiago Cabrera's Aramis benefit this week, while Adrian Hodges's script also makes better use of Peter Capaldi's Cardinal than the past three episodes have managed.
The episode concerns a visit to France from Vincent Regan's brutish Duke of Savoy - both King Louis (Ryan Gage) and Richelieu are eager to have the Duke sign a treaty and lure Savoy away from their enemies in Spain.
But sins of the past soon threaten the alliance, as allegations...

BBC One's new revamp of The Musketeers is - as noted last week - essentially Dumas' classic novel reshaped to mimic the formula of a contemporary cop drama. So it's rather fitting that episode two sees Luke Pasqualino's spirited D'Artagnan go undercover to ally himself with a infamous and enigmatic criminal.
Jason Flemyng has always been a hugely charismatic performer and it's chiefly his towering turn as the villainous Vadim - less a Parisian Guy Fawkes and more a 17th century Hans Gruber - that makes 'Sleight of Hand' so eminently watchable.
Indeed, so good is Flemyng that the episode suffers when he's not on-screen. Like last week's premiere, 'Sleight' opens big and bold and then meanders in the middle, losing much of its momentum as attention shifts from Vadim's skullduggery to the Musketeers' investigation into the miscreant's past.
But in an echo of last week's ebb and flow,...

When Doctor Who returned to our screens in 2005, it resurrected the notion of airing kid-friendly drama on a Saturday night, with Merlin and more recently Atlantis attempting to fill the void whenever Who was absent.
With The Musketeers, the BBC is taking a stab (no pun intended) at reviving another TV staple - the glossy Sunday night family drama - and on this early evidence, Primeval creator Adrian Hodges's revamp of the Alexandre Dumas classic is a palpable hit.
Hodges makes The Three Musketeers work for a modern age by essentially using Dumas's 1844 story as the template for a period procedural - right down to the tongue-lashing they receive from Hugo Speer's Captain Treville in his office, our Musketeers are cast as the maverick cops of 17th century Paris.

BBC One has released new pictures from its Sunday night drama The Musketeers.
Skins actor Luke Pasqualino stars as D'Artagnan in the ten-part series, while Doctor Who's Peter Capaldi plays the sinister Cardinal Richelieu.
"I hope the audience takes [the show] for what it is," said Pasqualino. "I don't want them to think this is anything like the way The Musketeers has been portrayed before. I think we have a very different vibe to it."
"The Musketeers is a swashbuckler with teeth," added head writer Adrian Hodges. "And hopefully it bites hard and deep."
Santiago Cabrera, Tamla Kari and Hugo Speer will also appear in The Musketeers, which launches this Sunday (January 19) at 9pm on BBC One.
The show is being pitched against ITV's period drama Mr Selfridge, which kicks off its second series in the same slot.

Think the cop comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is Andy Samberg's first TV series post-SNL? You'd be wrong, as it turns out, since he also made something called "Cuckoo" for BBC Three, whose plot sounds an awful lot like 1993's Paulie Shore vehicle Son In Law, and it's getting an American remake.
The sitcom finds Samberg's titular neo-hippie slacker irritating his new in-laws when he's brought to their UK home after a quickie marriage to their daughter Rachel (Tamla Kari) and, according to Deadline Hollywood, the six-episode season set a ratings record for BBC Three and the show's already been renewed for a second season.

Skins star Luke Pasqualino will play D'Artagnan in the 10-parter, from Primeval co-creator Adrian Hodges.
The 23-year-old will star opposite Merlin's Santiago Cabrera (Aramis), The Hour's Tom Burke (Athos) and theatre actor Howard Charles (Porthos).
Peter Capaldi has also been cast as the shadowy Cardinal Richlieu in the "fresh and contemporary take" on Alexandre Dumas's classic novel.
"I'm thrilled to be working with such a dynamic, talented and attractive ensemble cast on our new version of The Musketeers," said Hodges.
"This series is all about passion, romance, heroism and action, and I can't think of a better group of actors to embody those diverse qualities."

Don't worry Andy Samberg fans, the former SNL star has got more on his plate than bad Adam Sandler movies. Case in point, upcoming BBC3 comedy series Cuckoo.Cuckoo (Andy Samberg) is every parent's worst nightmare - a slacker full of outlandish, New Age ideas - and the man Ken (Greg Davies) and Lorna's (Helen Baxendale) only daughter, Rachel (Tamla Kari) has brought home from her gap year and introduced as her new husband.Ken and Lorna have no choice but to welcome him into their family home - and if every Englishman's home is his castle, then this hippie has stormed Ken's fortress and plundered everything - most unforgivably, his princess.Set in the Midlands - home to the Thompson family - Ken and Lorna are horrified...

While Andy Samberg has left "Saturday Night Live," you don't need to worry about getting your weekly dose of laughter from the funnyman this fall (though you may need to find some creative ways to track it down). The comic actor has crossed the pond for a new series entitled "Cuckoo," and as the first footage from the show bears out this looks like it will be one to watch. Airing on BBC Three, the six-part series will find Samberg playing the free spirited titular character, who surprises parents Ken (Welsh comedian Greg Davies) and Lorna (Helen Baxendale) by marrying their daughter (Tamla Kari) and moving in. And of course, this causes all sorts of comedic problems. The character seems right up Samberg's alley, allowing him plenty of room to flex his familiar comic muscles (even if some of this is a little too broad for our taste). But we have to admit,...

Now that he's officially graduated from Saturday Night Live, Andy Samberg already has another TV project lined up: the six-part comedy series Cuckoo, which airs on BBC Three later this year. Samberg will star as the title character, a New Age-obsessed hippie newly wed to Being Human's Tamla Kari, whose parents are unpleasantly surprised by their daughter’s hippified transformation and choice of mate. Samberg's "squared-jawed, self-appointed spiritual ninja" will then face off against those parents, played by Helen Baxendale (whom you might recognize as Ross’s British ex-fiancée from Friends) and Welsh comedian Greg Davies ...

Yes, Andy Samberg has left "Saturday Night Live" joining Kristen Wiig in waving goodbye to the iconic sketch comedy show, which should make for a radically different program when it returns in September. And while we'll miss the SNL Digital Shorts (though, we guess he'll team up with this Lonely Island boys to do some special ones from time to time) it looks like Samberg is ready to spread his wings a bit. He already hit Sundance in January with "Celeste And Jesse Forever," a relationship dramedy that's a bit different than we're used to seeing from him and now he's crossing the pond for his next television effort.

Andy Samberg's first acting job since leaving "Saturday Night Live" will take him across the pond. He's set to star in a BBC sitcom called "Cuckoo."
The show, which begins filming in the summer, also stars Greg Davies ("The Inbetweeners") and Helen Baxendale ("Friends," "Cold Feet") as the parents of a young woman (Tamla Kari) who comes home from a year abroad with a new husband: Cuckoo (Samberg), a slacker goofball and self-described "spiritual ninja" who will now be living under their roof.
Culture-clashing comedy will presumably ensue.
"The best of British meets the toast of Hollywood. We hope 'Cuckoo' cements the special relationship between our two great countries," executive producer Ash Atalla says in a statement. "I imagine Obama and [British Prime Minister David] Cameron will be watching closely."
Robin French and Kieron Quirke ("Man Stroke Woman," "Trinity") created the show. It's scheduled for six episodes to air later this year on BBC Three.
