Last year, Ashley Greene (the Twilight saga) and Shawn Ashmore (Adam Green’s Frozen) shared the screen in the Netflix-released thriller Aftermath. Now Deadline reports that Greene and Ashmore have been reunited on the set of the supernatural horror film It Feeds, which is currently in production.
It Feeds will tell the story of a young girl who insists that a malevolent entity is feeding on her. Greene’s character is “a clairvoyant therapist who must confront her own personal demons to save the girl before she is taken completely.” Ashmore is playing “the anguished father, desperately struggling to protect his daughter.”
Deadline doesn’t name the director of It Feeds or the screenwriter, but they do mention that this film is the first in what is planned to be a ten-film slate of genre projects that’s coming our way from Productivity Media Inc and Black Fawn Films.

Back in April, it was announced that genre regular Isabelle Fuhrman – whose credits include Orphan, Orphan: First Kill, and The Last Thing Mary Saw, among others – would be starring in a cat and mouse thriller called Unit 234… which was already filming in the Cayman Islands by the time the announcement was made. The drama recently wrapped production in Toronto and reunites True Blood’s Anna Paquin with her co-lead and real-life husband Stephen Moyer, who makes his feature directorial debut.
Paquin stars alongside another True Blood alumnus, Denis O’Hare who also wrote the screenplay, as well as Melissa Leo, Cynthia Nixon, Rhys Ifans, and Ed Asner.
The Parting Glass centres on a family that tries to piece together their lives after a death.
“Ed Asner pulls off an unforgettable encore performance and is surrounded by an extremely talented group of actors that all pull at your heart strings in ways that every family can relate to,” Shreder said.

Back in 2015, Ethan Hawke starred in Robert Budreau’s drama “Born to Be Blue,” about jazz trumpeter Chet Baker. Now two years later, the duo are reuniting for Budreau’s upcoming thriller “Stockholm,” also co-starring Noomi Rapace.
Based on Daniel Lang’s New Yorker article “The Bank Drama,” the film, written by Budreau, tells the true story of the 1973 bank heist and hostage crisis in Stockholm. Giving rise to the psychological phenomenon known as “Stockholm Syndrome,” the events grabbed the world’s attention when the hostages bonded with their captors and turned against the authorities.
No additional details about the actors’ roles were revealed, though production is slated to begin in April. Sierra/Affinity will be presenting the film to buyers for the first time at this year’s European Film Market in Berlin.
