Naya Rivera returning to Glee as recurring guest star, Chris Colfer speaks about being hacked, Broke Straight Boys is trying to be a TV reality show
So it appears that Harry Styles favorited a rather graphic porn tweet, and the Internet lost their collective minds, with #HarryDontLickAnything becoming the number one trending topic on Twitter. Harry eventually noticed the trend and unfavored the tweet, replacing it among his nine favorited tweets with a cute animal. Can’t a boy band superstar appreciate porn without the whole world weighing in?
Doritos has unleashed a Roulette edition bag of chips in Canada. The idea is that most of the bag is normal chips, but 3-4 in the bag are stunningly, amazingly hot, and you don’t know which is which. People have been filming their reactions and taking over YouTube. Personally, I like to know what I’m putting in my mouth.

The Vancouver Canucks have visited the final series of the Playoff three times, being swept in 1982, and going to the 7th game in 1994 and 2011. After their first appearance they struggled to make the playoffs in the years that followed, facing early elimination if they did. A year after their 1994 run they moved out of the storied Pacific Coliseum into G.M. Place (now Rogers Arena) the team faced a steep decline for a number of years until the turn of the century. At the beginning of 1999 Pavel Bure, one of the key factors in the 1994 run, was traded to Florida for Ed Jovonovski, and two first draft picks that then Gm Brian Burke made sure were consecutive in order to draft The Sedin Twins. The trio joined the likes of Brendan Morrison and Mattias Ohlund to form a younger newer Vancouver Canucks.

Minnesota governor signs marriage equality, Stefon leaving SNL, and Bret Easton Ellis is still delusional
I’m not entirely sure what I’d want to do on a date with Prince Harry, but I’m sure what’s on the first guy’s sign would figure into it somehow.
The Timbers Army did something amazing at the game. Now we just have to get the Big Four sports in the U.S. to do the same.
In what has to be the end of civilized society, rich Manhattanites are hiring people with disabilities to go with them to Disney so they can skip the lines for the rides.
The National Organization for Marriage has announced plans to sue the IRS over whoever leaked their 2008 tax return. Blindly suing the government without anything except suspicion and a convenient time of scandal isn’t really a legal strategy, but it’s probably great to fundraise on.

One week after his firing shocked the National Hockey League, former Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke has become the subject of a song by a Peterborough, Ontario musician.
The song, written by Wray Ellis and clocking in at about two and a half minutes, is a laid-back country tune currently on the musician's site and called "The Ballad Of Brian Burke." The music is from a song Ellis originally wrote entitled "Someone Else's Problem Now" but changed the lyrics to suit the Burke firing.

"I had a real sweet ride/All Toronto on my side/With my silver locks and a private box/No one was cooler than I," Ellis sings before the second verse begins. "Until one January day/Someone called me up to say/Gee I think you're really swell but the board says go...

Newark Mayor Cory Booker is one of the most outspoken allies of the Glbt community in politics today. But he wasn't always that way. The Stanford Daily republished an op-ed he wrote about his evolution in 1992, and it's powerful stuff.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have fired General Manager, Glbt ally, and You Can Play Project founder Brian Burke because they haven't made the Stanley Cup playoffs since 2008.
Chris Colfer says that when he was younger, he always went to the midnight releases for the Harry Potter books, and he had a standard wizards' robe and hat back then. Times have changed, though with his success. "Now I can go to Whimsic Alley — you know, like Diagon Alley, but in L.A. — and go on a shopping spree and buy all sorts of crap that I don't need. Harry Potter was my number-one thing, and I loved every minute being a fan of those books.

The Courage Campaign hosted the 2nd Annual Spirit of Courage Awards Thursday night at the Petersen Automotive Museum in an effort to recognize advocates for equality. The event honored Toronto Maple Leafs president and general manager Brian Burke and Philadelphia Flyers scout Patrick Burke for their efforts to support equality, because, as the Mighty Ducks’ owners Henry and Susan Samueli put it: “There is no room for homophobia in the NHL or any other sports league.” California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris was also recognized for her work to protect homeowners and the Lgbt community at large.

The NHL season is quickly approaching and it’s at this time of the year when general managers have to decide what to do before the next season begins. Will the Toronto Maple Leafs chase Roberto Luongo? Should they let their young prospects grow or fast-track them into the big-leagues?
In this article, we answer those questions and more, in our countdown of the top five moves the Leafs must make before the 2012-2013 NHL season begins.
1) Bring Nazem Kadri Up To The NHL
Nazem Kadri was supposed to be a stud, but so far he’s been a dud. The former seventh overall pick is one of only two players taken in the top 10 at the 2009 Entry Draft who have yet to make it to full-time player status with their organizations’ professional teams – the other being Scott Glennie.
Kadri’s been solid with the Marlies, tallying 53 points in 65 games.

Obviously the BBC is planning a huge event for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, and most expect that multiple generations of The Doctor will appear. My conscience is completely clear."

In a little noticed bit in a December interview that's now making mainstream news, Rick Santorum says that if elected, he'd make sure that not only would we get a federal Constitutional amendment against marriage equality, it would nullify all existing same-sex marriage, which numbered 131,000 in the 2010 census. The family values crowd sure does like destroying families.

In what may be my new favorite thing, Venture Brothers has released their annual Christmas carol, which you can listen/download here. The song of the year is "Baby It's Cold Outside" as sung by the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend, and it's just as twisted and Nsfw as you would imagine.
In Michigan, Republican Gov. Rick Snyder signed HB4770, which prohibits public employers from providing partner benefits to unmarried partners, effectively excluding gay partners from health care. Happy Holidays!
Betty White is set to host Monday Night Football for the Christmas edition this week. It seems only fair since a couple of years ago being tackled in a Snickers commercial took her career from steady to red hot.
Steve Jobs will be awarded a posthumous Grammy for "significant contributions to music." This amuses me since just a few years ago the industry was screaming that he was destroying the entire music industry.

After the recent gay-baiting in Chicago around the recent National Hockey League championship — first by the Chicago Tribune which posted a picture of Philadelphia Flyer Chris Pronger in a skirt, then by someone in the lockerroom of the Blackhawks who wrote "Chris Pronger is gay" on a board — it's nice to be able to report that the Blackhawks have decided to participate in this year's Gay Pride Parade in Chicago.
Blackhawks President John McDonough is sending the Stanley Cup (the trophy awarded to the winner) to the parade and Brent Sopel, a defenseman for the Blackhawks, is going to represent the team. Said Sopel, "I am honored to do it." Sopel will be joined by his wife and their four kids which I think is a great sign of how much the world has changed.
No doubt Tony Perkins of the American Family Association is already composing a press release condemning the whole thing.

Speaking of a party, it looks like Gareth Thomas found somewhere to relax recently. This is his new Twitter picture, and boys, he's 35-years-old. Those Wolf Pack children we pictured yesterday should crawl back to their den with their tails between their legs after basking in Gareth's abs. How does he do it?
