“Hijack” director Mo Ali has signed with CAA for representation.
Ali recently directed a number of episodes of the Apple TV+ series “Hijack,” which stars Idris Elba as a top negotiator who needs to step up and use his professional skills to save his fellow passengers when their flight to London is hijacked. The seven-part thriller will premiere on the streaming service later this year.
Ali previously helmed episodes of the British series “Cobra” for Sky, which stars Robert Carlyle and Victoria Hamilton and will soon begin its third season on the pay-tv operator. Ali is returning as director.
Ali made his directorial debut with the post-apocalyptic thriller “Shank,” set in a futuristic London. The film was released in more than 15 territories around the world. Comedy Basement, meanwhile, highlight the talents of a number of black British comedians, including Kojo and Eddie Kadi; while cousins Tyrone-Lee Davis and Kieran Shekoni are bringing their brand of sketch comedy to the channel in The Ty and Ky Show.

Edwina Currie is the latest campmate to leave the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! jungle.
She follows Tinchy Stryder and Kendra Wilkinson, who left yesterday (Friday, December 5).
When asked by Ant and Dec how she felt about leaving the camp, Edwina joked that she had been crossing her fingers as they made the announcement.
Edwina added that the jungle was "completely different" to what she expected, saying: "I thought it would be horrible and was prepared to grit my teeth and do it, but they were a terrific bunch of people.
"Physically, it was very hard - I had done a fair bit of camping but not like this."
Edwina had clashed with both Kendra Wilkinson and Melanie Sykes during her time in the jungle, claiming that Kendra was selfish after hearing her discuss with Michael Buerk what it was like to live life in front of cameras.

Kendra Wilkinson and Tinchy Stryder are the fifth and sixth celebrities to have been voted out of the I'm a Celebrity jungle.
The pair follow actress Vicky Michelle who left the camp yesterday (December 4).
"I was shocked it was two of us," the rapper told Ant & Dec following their exit, "but I had worked out there were six of us left, you know?"
After being shown his best moments on the show, Tinchy smiled and told the hosts: "That's like special man - it brings everything back."
"I expected it to be tough," he added, "but at the same time I'm proud of myself.
"I'm picky with my food and I've been eating crocodile and all that!"
When he was asked just how he managed to get through the Vile Vineyard challenge, Tinchy replied that he just tried not to think about what he was doing.
"Calm, that's the word.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Tinchy Stryder took on the Catacombs of Doom trial in tonight's episode, and trounced Kendra Wilkinson's previous attempt.
The campmates were informed that someone else would be allowed to attempt the challenge after Kendra's failure previously, and both Jake Quickenden and Tinchy were keen to take it on.
The pair ended up disagreeing over who would participate and Jake suggested a game of rock, paper, scissors or drawing straws.
"You know what, it's cool," Tinchy said. "You can do it. I ain't trying to draw straws. It's cool man."
Jake told him to do the trial and Tinchy agreed, prompting Jake to walk away, swearing and saying: "I'm bored of this place."
At the trial clearing, Ant & Dec told Tinchy that seven stars were hidden in the Catacombs of Doom and he would have ten minutes to find them.

We'd never want to worry Ant & Dec, but we can't keep this in any more - I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has a problem.
The Trials are still entertaining. The conversations are still compelling. Ant & Dec are still at their best on this show. In fact, everything was swimming along very nicely indeed until the eliminations began earlier this week, and we started scratching our heads with our mouths agape.
Because all of the best campmates are leaving.
We thought Jimmy Bullard might have been a fluke. A horrendous, 'wait what' moment, but a fluke all the same. For one thing, only four campmates were eligible to be voted out and all of them were big characters (except our pick for elimination, Tinchy Stryder, who presumably has a vote-happy fanbase).
So while we were saddened that bantergate had probably lost Jimmy the competition and disappointed that we...

Veteran broadcaster Michael Buerk managed 19 days in the jungle camp of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! During his stint in the reality show, we saw Buerk twerk, rap and sing - and one of the many highlights would have to be his giant cockatoo impression for a particularly barmy Dingo Dollar Challenges. Here are the 60-year-old's jungle highlights…
How does it feel to be out of the jungle?
"I'm very, very pleased to be out. You wouldn't believe the relief! It's been absolutely wonderful to see my wife and to get back to reality. You talk a lot about food in the jungle - but missing my wife, my family and news of the family was the killer for me in there. You feel very isolated in the jungle."

Michael has been working on his masterpiece for some time and chose to unleash the greatness on his fellow campmates as they enjoyed their last supper before one of them is eliminated.
Michael was joined by Tinchy and Jake Quickenden, who sang the chorus: "Ten campmates in a jungle, eating out of tins, no plates in the jungle. Rice and beans, no steaks in the jungle. All real, no fakes in the jungle."
Michael then broke into the verses, rapping: "Michael's my name and I'm real cool, stuck in the jungle feeling a fool. Pants are red, got no bed, jungle skills never learned at school. Banged up here with the Lord of misrule, jumping up and down, heading for a fall. Jimmy's the name, footy's the game.

The Wombat tribe on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! have already had a pretty rough time recently - and things aren't improving any time soon as tonight's episode sees the group taking on the latest Bushtucker Trial.
Jimmy Bullard, Carl Fogarty, Mel Sykes and Tinchy Stryder - all of whom face the first public vote-off tonight - were forced to take part in the Vile Vineyard challenge, also known as the worst game of spin the bottle ever.
Watch a teaser of the Trial below:
The Trial saw the celebrities downing various disgusting liquids, and Foggy was the first unlucky celebrity to be chosen.
While Jimmy was supportive - "Foggy, my boy!" - the motorcyclist was nervous, saying: "I'd rather have snakes and bugs anytime, mate."
Discovering that he would have to drink deer's blood, Foggy got stuck in and started downing the substance determinedly, adding rather surprisingly: "It tastes like Quavers.

Tinchy Stryder, Melanie Sykes, Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty and Jimmy Bullard are the first celebrities up for elimination on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, after losing the tribal Terror Tomb challenge.
In the trial, the Galah and Wombat tribes were faced with identical tombs in two different locations. Each of the celebrities had to spend 15 minutes inside coffins within the tomb, with the aim of sticking it out longer than a member of the opposite team.
After the 15 minutes were up, a key dropped into each of the coffins, and the celebs would race to find a hidden lock which would then turn on a light and they would be released.
Michael Buerk, Vicki Michelle, Kendra Wilkinson, Nadia Forde, Edwina Currie and Jake Quickenden won the majority of three rounds and were awarded immunity.
So Foggy, Jimmy, Melanie and Tinchy face elimination, but who do you want to see leave the show?...

Michael Buerk was perhaps the surprise camp mate on this year's I'm a Celebrity. Rather than sit solemnly in the jungle, the 68-year-old newsreader has got himself right involved, with a twerking lesson and even learning how to rap... But what does his dear wife Christine think of it all?
Digital Spy caught up with Christine in Australia to talk Michael's spat with Mel, her thoughts on the other camp mates and whether she really wants Michael to win...
Do you think Michael is enjoying his jungle experience?
"I'm sure he's enjoying parts of it. And I'm sure he's hating other parts. I'm sure he's finding it really difficult not to have anything to read or write in there. That will be the worst thing for him. And the boredom."
Did you want Michael to do I'm a Celebrity?

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has a brand new gender war as the celebrities have been split into two tribes for a new challenge.
The campmates discovered that all of the women would join the Galah Tribe, while the men would form the Wombat Tribe.
For the next few days, the two tribes will compete against each other for treats, and the winning team will also be able to poach a member from the other side. The tribe with the most members at the end of the task will have immunity from the first public vote.
The first challenge saw the two tribes battling it out for a treat of chocolate brownies and ice cream, and everyone was feeling competitive, as Melanie Sykes said: "It feels like it's game on now because people are going to start leaving."

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was forced to cut a challenge short in tonight's episode after a huge storm erupted over camp.
The extreme weather called an end to the Shed of Dread task, which saw Jimmy Bullard and Carl Fogarty being taken in a helicopter to a dark shed full of jungle critters.
The duo were informed that they would have to stay in the shed for 12 hours, but their fellow celebrities were able to cut that time down by sacrificing items that were important to them.
Jake Quickenden gave up his fan, Melanie Sykes handed over her tweezer, Michael Buerk reluctantly sacrificed his chair and Edwina Currie and Vicki Michelle agreed to do without makeup.
That reduced Bullard and Fogarty's time in the shed from 12 to six hours, but the celebrities were then told they could reduce the time to just three hours if they sacrificed postcards from home.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Michael Buerk finally began taking lessons in rap from Tinchy Stryder in tonight's show.
The broadcaster - who had requested tutoring in a previous episode - made the most of his burgeoning bromance with the musician to learn a new skill.
"I know zero about rap," Michael admitted. "I thought it was done by sinister looking men in hoods and shades. I don't really like the sound of it, don't understand it, there is no tune to it - is it all about style?"
Tinchy explained that there is a rhythm, tune and flow to rap and advised Michael to say a line about himself to a beat, prompting him to come up with: "I'm Michael and I'm real cool, stuck in the jungle, feel a real fool. My pants are red and I have no bed."

ITV producers have tightened security surrounding the camp of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here following reports of two fatal incidents nearby.
The body of a 52-year-old mother-of-two was found in the street of Murwillumbah, a small town just ten minutes away from where the celebrities are residing in the jungle.
A New South Wales police spokesman has confirmed that the case is ongoing and has urged witnesses who saw victim Lynette Jones near the Imperial Hotel on Main St an hour before her death to contact police.

The celebrity CIA agents successfully earned another care package for camp in tonight's (November 23) edition of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.
After being gathered for one final assignment, the four spies were told they would need to gather all the campmates together for a big jungle pool party if they wanted the chance to receive the last care package.
However, as the secret meeting was taking place, the headquarters were almost discovered by Michael Buerk as he took a shower.
After waiting for Buerk to leave the area, the CIA group went back to camp with the strategy of throwing Kendra Wilkinson a party as she was feeling homesick.
They also wanted to celebrate Melanie Sykes getting nine meals for camp in her Bushtucker Trial.

Jake Quickenden, Edwina Currie and Jimmy Bullard managed to successfully sabotage the Dingo Dollar Challenge on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! tonight (November 21).

At the start of the challenge, Michael Buerk, Tinchy Stryder and Vicki Michelle made their way to the bush clearing to take part in the physical side of the task.

The former footballer and World Superbike racing star are spending so much time together, that even their campmates began joking about their relationship in tonight's show (November 21).
"He's definitely bringing out the person I am at home, a bit childish and annoying, and we just get up to mischief," said 49-year-old Foggy of his new friend.
Smiling as he was asked about the Blackburn native, 36-year-old Jimmy added: "He makes me jump every two seconds.
"He's infectious. I need to be around him a lot of the time. If I'm away from him for 15 minutes I'm looking for him."

Craig told fellow saddened campers: "I'm out of here, guys."

Tinchy Stryder took on the 'Chamber of Horrors' Bush Tucker challenge on tonight's (November 19) I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
The rapper took home four stars from a possible seven, facing cockroaches, mud crabs, snakes and a monster lizard in the process.
Tinchy took on challenges in seven separate chambers, having to sort through fish guts and battling an army of green ants along the way.
He was then asked whether he wanted to take the food back to camp or rescue a celebrity from the slammer by Ant and Dec.
Tinchy replied: "Oh man, do you have to do this to me? I'm Tinchy, I need to gain some weight."
He then decided to save a celebrity, saying: "It's going to be hard but whoever is rescued, they'll be thankful."
Gemma was the one chosen to be rescued, only to walk out on the show shortly afterwards.

Michael Buerk learns how to twerk in tonight's (November 16) episode of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.
Teammates Buerk, Jimmy Bullard, Melanie Sykes and Tinchy Stryder were joined by former Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson, who wanted to get the party started straight away.
After assuming Buerk was a comedian, Wilkinson finished her cocktail and said she would show the newsreader how to twerk.
"We should do some shots and get this party going, let's twerk or something, pick up your pants Michael to loosen them," she laughed.
"Oh right, it's a bit similar to belly dancing," said Buerk, to which Wilkinson replied: "Yes but with your arse!"
Buerk then diplomatically declined to take part in the dancing craze, and said: "Maybe when I know you all better."
Sykes then stepped in and told Wilkinson to stop encouraging him. She said: "Don't make him twerk, bless him."
