Like the Nelly Furtado song goes, all good things must come to an end. On tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent, ten acts give it all they have, hoping they can win it all. I know this makes me sound like a broken record, but will these ten acts blow us away? Angelica Hale once again started the night with a rendition of Symphony. The choice of song is good, though her vocals were not exactly up to par. It felt like the pressure of the competition is getting to her. I’m not certain if the young singer has what

All along the red carpet for the show’s Los Angeles premiere, cast members of HBO’s flagship summer drama dropped hints about the show’s long-awaited resolution — here’s the very best of them.
The beginning of the end is upon us.
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is finally on her way to Westeros, army and dragons in tow. The living embodiment of winter, the White Walkers, marches toward the Wall. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) have taken back control of Winterfell.

Warning: This post contains spoilers from the run of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why.
At the end of 13 Reasons Why, we finally learn the role Hannah’s classmates and the adults in her life played in her decision to commit suicide.
Anyone else feel somehow worse after the revelation?
RelatedNetflix’s 13 Reasons Why Premiere: Will You Keep Listening, Uh, Watching?
The Netflix drama was never going to have a happy ending — a teenager is, after all, still very much dead following some pretty terrible treatment from her peers — but the loose ends left dangling at the end of the (first?) season are unsettling.

Growing up in the UK’s equivalent of The Shire meant that access to the escapism of video rentals was something as distant as The Misty Mountains. The arrival of a man who looked like Stanley Uris from Stephen King’s It, driving a van that was filled to the rafters with VHS, and which glowed like the Pulp Fiction briefcase when opened, introduced me to a roll-call of the 80s Action Heroes. Monosyllabic men, who quipped their way through bullets and bodies. The first plastic case to cross my sweaty palms featured a muscular fellow, holding a gun, against a colourful heatmap backdrop. It was Predator, and that was a long time ago.
About where things began to change for the real expendables is hard to pinpoint. Why did these one-time box-office giants; Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Van-Damme, and to a lesser degree Lundgren, suddenly find their powers diminishing?...

Chelsea Handler believes the line between reality TV and politics has completely been blurred.
The Chelsea host, who has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with President-elect Donald Trump, continues to air her grievances in a new interview with Variety, where she makes the argument that celebrity culture may have contributed to the election results.
"They were treating him as an entertainer first," the 41-year-old TV host says. "It was a reality show. We’ve turned into a reality show."

World War, a solemn vow, and a promise betrayed lead to a ‘night of the living war dead’ – all cooked up by the director of Napoleon, Abel Gance. The early, famed pacifist fantasy is back in near-perfect condition and restored to its full length. It’s a reworking, not a remake, of Gance’s 1919 silent classic.

Better Things‘ Sam spent the first season of her FX comedy putting out the small fires that go along with being the mother of three girls. But in Thursday’s finale, all of the arguments over school and boys and such paled in comparison to Sam’s realization that her middle child, Frankie, is likely transgender.
The bulk of the episode found Sam doing her usual juggling act. Rousing Max, Frankie and Duke from bed in time to go to school. Finding a moment to “dirty FaceTime” with her recent hook-up. Wriggling out of a birthday weekend in Santa Barbara with her mom.

In Wednesday’s penultimate episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke, Audrey declared, “Everybody’s dead!” — which was demonstrably false, since when she shouted it Lee was standing right next to her, very much alive, thanks. Still, the outburst succeeded in impressing upon new arrival Dylan (who’d played Ambrose in My Roanoke Nightmare) that the goings-on at the Millers’ former house were “not a joke.” Of course, even if the reenactress’ exaggeration hadn’t done the trick, what happened next undoubtedly would have have gotten the message across to Dylan that the variety of s— he was in was the deep sort.

The beginning of the end for MTV's Teen Wolf is very close. The final season of supernatural high school drama will begin on Tuesday, November 15 at 9/8c. Despite the fact that the season is just about a month away, very little has been shown about the final season since San Diego Comic Con.
Teen Wolf fans knew that the season will be very Stiles-centric even though actor Dylan O'Brien wasn't available to film much as he is the star of the Maze Runner film franchise. In the latest trailer, Teen Wolf shows how the final season will be all about Stiles without having very much Stiles in it. It turns out the answer is focusing heavily on his relationship with Lydia -- and maybe finally providing some closure on their dynamic.

“Live from Hollywood; it’s America’s Got Talent: The Finals!” Season 11 of America’s Got Talent has been a rather turbulent ride. From watching great acts perform to seeing those who don’t have any talent bones in their body. I watched the show since the beginning; I can’t help but feel like the last bit of summer gone away. Sentiments aside, let’s see who has what it takes to win that coveted million dollar prize and the headline show in Las Vegas. The show opened with Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull. Grimm concludes season 5 with a two-part finale that kept the dramatic tension high throughout...
This review contains spoilers.
5.21 & 5.22 The Beginning Of The End
This season of Grimm has had its ups and downs, it’s fair to say. For the most part its now-established formula of fairy-tale creatures, romance, action and modern-day heroes and villains has continued to excite fans – but there have also been a few issues with pacing, gaps in storytelling and questionable plot twists.
The show’s two-hour season five finale, however, went above and beyond what we’ve seen this season. Despite its extended length, the episode crammed an awful lot in, yet remained fast paced, keeping the dramatic tension high at all times.
What really comes across is that Black Claw’s grip on society now seems unbreakable. The group’s plans to methodically infiltrate every aspect of government, police and other agencies is paying off,...

Filmmaker Schneider has created a chronological tale of two music lovers and a dream that developed into Smart Studios of Madison, Wisconsin. This story eventually evolved into the sound that changed everything – the “Nevermind” album from Nirvana, produced by the Smart Studios’ Butch Vig. In Cell by Cell, I look deeply into the panels of an issue, appreciating and analyzing the story and artistic composition.
Pages 19-20 Overview
This is it. The beginning of the end. The finale of the episode. Here comes the heartbreak.
Keeping the 2-page, symmetrical spread of the game scenes, these two pages kick off a 6-page action scene depicting the end of the scrimmage match between the N.C. team and the A.C.O. guards.
The antagonism continues to rise as a guard picks a fight with Penny. Unable to let the aggressions pass, Penny gets distracted from her defensive duty, allowing another team member to get double-teamed and escalating further violence with the guards.
Cell 1 is a close-up of a sweaty Meiko, smiling exactly like she was in the family picture at the end of the last page.

Amid the attention and fame that went along with his life in the Kardashian clan, it's easy to overlook what was once an immensely successful (and lucrative) basketball career for Lamar Odom.
The game was a natural escape for the Queens, New York native, who's mother died of cancer when he was 12. His father, Joe Odom, was a disabled veteran and a heroin addict, leaving Odom to be raised by his grandmother, Mildred Mercer.
At 6 feet 10 inches tall and with the ball handling skills of a point guard, Odom's talents made him famous at a young age in his home town and beyond.

The beginning of the end is here in the new teaser trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2."
"Nothing good is safe while Snow is alive. And I can't make another speech about it. Snow has to pay for what he's done," Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen says of President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
Cue the rebellion!

But as fans of the books know, President Snow isn’t going down without a fight!
Cue what we can only assume is a black sludge weapon?!

The grudge has been held for far too long. This year, we will finally see the end to this terrible grudge curse as “Ju-on: The Final” hits the theaters.
The Beginning Sees Its End in “Ju-on: The Final”
The previous installment, “Ju-on: The Beginning of the End,” has spun a new story for the horror franchise. Whereas the preceding films painted the husband, Takeo Saeki (Yasuhito Hida), as the villain who mercilessly killed his wife and son purely out of jealousy, “The Beginning of the End” reveals that there was more to the story than a simple massacre.
As it turned out, Takeo was possessed by the ghost of a certain Toshio Yamaga.
Ghost to Human to Ghost. Who Will Not Be Furious?
Yamaga was a victim of child abuse. After suffering from the hands of his own family, he was found dead in a bedroom closet, his hands and feet bound.

I have a feeling that the membership of Petjammf — that is, People for the Ethical Treatment of James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser — will have grown significantly by the end of this week’s Outlander.
How could it not, especially when Mr. Claire Beauchamp is nearly hanged, only to be saved by evil incarnate (aka Black Jack Randall), offered a terrible proposition and forced to relinquish the love of his life and then some in exchange for her safety?
It’s a rough hour, and I wish I could say it ends on a happy note, but most of us know that isna likely.

1995, a weird year for American cinema. There was a new Bond in Pierce Brosnan. Some young punk commercial director named David Fincher reinvented the serial killer picture. Michael Mann delivered what many consider to be his great masterwork. Adam Sandler starred in his first film. Paul Ws Anderson turned the world’s goriest video game…

This story first appeared in the April 24 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. The beginning of the end of my love affair with New York started with Rudy Giuliani. After 9/11, the vision of New York that he articulated set the stage for the future of Gotham. "Go shopping!" he proclaimed, advice he later followed, lining his pockets with lucrative security deals. Enter a decade of banker-robbers and world-class criminals rising higher in their condos, with tax credits granted to Whole Foods, Duane Reade and 2,800 chain stores that turned Manhattan into a high-rise strip

As “Curtain Call” brought American Horror Story: Freak Show to a close, Dandy at last made his stage “debut,” and Elsa arrived in the one place in the world that might actually be weirder than her own Cabinet of Curiosities: Hollywood.
Here’s how it all fell apart and came together.
The Beginning Of The End | As the finale kicked off, Dandy was pitching a fit over the fact that, just like Penny predicted, audiences weren’t lining up to see a “rich Nancy sing show tunes.” And, in no time, he’d become so intolerable that he’d been decked by Amazon Eve,...

The beginning of the end is nigh for Hunger Games fans – Mockingjay: Part 1 is out in cinemas now, and for our money it's the best in the series yet.
Fans of Suzanne Collins' book trilogy and the Lionsgate adaptations are about as dedicated as they come, as we discovered earlier this month at the film's world premiere in London.
But we've set ourselves the challenge of uncovering a few tidbits that might not be widely known. Below are 17 things you probably never knew about The Hunger Games.
1. The three-fingered salute has become iconic for Hunger Games fans, first seen as a gesture of solidarity in District 12 and later adopted by Katniss as a revolutionary gesture. But its significance reached new levels this year when the salute was adopted as a form of silent resistance by protestors in Thailand this year, and subsequently banned by the military.

The last season premiere ever of “Parenthood” (are we crying yet?) opens on a jump from last season. We see Aida walking, Julia (Erika Christensen) with a new beau (or maybe just a good old fashioned Fwb?), the charter school that Kristina (Monica Potter) started is almost done, Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) and Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) are settling in to their new home, Sarah (Lauren Graham) and Hank (Ray Romano) are together, but, more importantly, Amber (Mae Whitman) is indeed pregnant. After a talk with Hank about his daughter coming back to live in Berkeley and not being exactly forthcoming [...]

The latest entry in the Ju-On series comes with a title that could be considered false advertising. It's called Ju-On: The Beginning of the End yet it's not the "beginning" of anything, it's simply the end. Hell, it's beyond the end. Here are some alternative titles - Ju-On: Beating a Dead Horse (or dead cat, if you want to stay true to the Ju-On legacy) or Ju-On: The Greatest Hits.
Sadly, an opportunity to reinvigorate a J-horror mainstay has been wasted to regurgitate every Ju-on film we've seen to date. Furthermore, it's disappointing to see writer-director Masayuki Ochiai deliver such a flat-looking film, especially considering he gave us the colorful and textured Infection many years back.

"Will you follow me... one last time?" The beginning of the end. Warner Bros has debuted the first teaser trailer for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the grand finale in his Middle Earth series, and it looks to be a very nostalgic and exciting ending. Martin Freeman returns as Bilbo, Luke Evans as Bard, Richard Armitage as Thorin, Ian McKellen as Gandalf, and everyone else they have in the illustrious cast. As this is the first teaser, it doesn't reveal too much footage, but does hint at how epic the "Battle of the Five Armies" will be and how he's trying to match the tone of Lord of the Rings, so it can lead right into Fellowship. I'm really looking forward to seeing this sure-to-be spectacular Hobbit finale. First teaser for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies direct via...

"Are you here to fight with us?" The beginning of the end is here. The first trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I has arrived, and it looks fantastic. The franchise really improved with Catching Fire last year, and the first chapter in the two-part finale seems to be on the same track with director Francis Lawrence back. Jennifer Lawrence looks more troubled than ever trying to united all of Panem against President Snow and get back Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) from his public prisoner status in the Capitol. It's a little bittersweet seeing Philip Seymour Hoffman here, but it's sure to be a hell of a performance. Watch! Here's the first teaser trailer for Francis Lawrence's Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 via Facebook: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I is the first movie in the two-part finale of The Hunger Games franchise, based on the books by Suzanne Collins.

In an odd turn of events, this list has a number of films that don’t have English-language titles. They just go by whatever the original title was. Good for us. What we do see in this portion of the list is a few movies that weren’t really created specifically to be horror films, but their themes and visuals made it so. In addition, we have some heavyweights of non-horror cinema creating horror films that push the genre all the more upward. “Thinking man horror,” if you will.

Roman Polanski has made one of the greatest horror “trilogies” of all time with 1965′s British production Repulsion, 1968′s American production Rosemary’s Baby, and 1976′s French production The Tenant, completing his “Apartment Trilogy.” Unlike the other two, Polanski actually stars in The Tenant as Trelkovsky, a reserved man renting an apartment in Paris.

When 20th Century Fox Korea announced last week that Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes would open locally on July 10, one week earlier than previously planned, the South Korean film industry cried foul.
The date change has since drawn fire from local film-makers and press alike and caused at least three films to change their distribution dates.
On the same day as Fox’s announcement on July 4, film importer Main Title Pictures and the Korean Film Producers Association (Kfpa) quickly sent out statements condemning the sudden change in release dates and urging Fox to go back to its original date.
Kfpa cited the long-standing practice of distributors sharing line-up release dates with one another “several months or one year in advance” so that they could prepare and follow through on costly post-production and marketing plans.
