After 15 seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and 13 international spinoffs, the franchise has launched the careers of over 400 fierce drag queens. As those performers grow their careers, a select lucky few are granted the opportunity to return to the competition to compete on the Paramount+ sister series: “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.”
So far the world has seen eight seasons of “All Stars,” with winners that include Alaska, Trixie Mattel, Shea Couleé, and Kylie Sonique Love. Given the wild success of the franchise, it’s safe to assume that plenty more fan favorites will be making return trips to the mainstage for more “All Stars” seasons. With only a few spots available for each iteration, here are 10 queens who simply must be invited back to the show for their chance at a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

RuPaul, the face of the “Drag Race” franchise, has responded to the recent wave of anti-drag and anti-trans legislation introduced by Republican lawmakers in the U.S.
In an Instagram video on Wednesday, the Emmy winner called the bills “a classic distraction technique” and urged Americans to register to vote.
“Hey, look over there! A classic distraction technique, distracting us away from the real issues that they were voted into office to focus on: jobs, healthcare, keeping our children safe from harm at their own school,” RuPaul said. “But we know that bullies are incompetent at solving real issues. They look for easy targets so they can give the impression of being effective. They think our love, our light, our laughter and our joy are signs of weakness. But they’re wrong because that is our strength.”
RuPaul continued, “Drag queens are the Marines of the queer movement. Don’t...

On Wednesday evening in New York City — about 60 miles and a ferry ride away from its subject— “Fire Island,” Joel Kim Booster’s romantic comedy about a weekend spent in New York’s chosen queer haven, held its premiere at the Sva Theatre.
On 23rd Street in Chelsea, guests including Alok Viad-Menon, Jackie Cox, Peppermint and John Cameron Mitchell, as well as stars Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers, Conrad Ricamora and James Scully assembled to celebrate the film as part of New York’s NewFest Pride. You could have lifted the premiere’s guest list from any summer weekend spent at the Pines, something to be celebrated for a new film distributed by a gatekeeper studio like Searchlight Pictures.
“Fire Island has had a long history of being a safe haven for closeted queer people in the city to be themselves,” director Andrew Ahn told Variety at the premiere. “Not unlike this.

Salem's latest double wedding crashed and burned in spectacular fashion! Ava made a deal, which infuriated Gabi, while Chanel and Tripp grew closer.
Our TV Fanatics, Jack and Christine, are joined by Mikey and Tony from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to rate the double wedding debacle, debate Gwen's confession, Chanel and Tripp's new bond, Ava's win, and more!
Rate the double wedding that wasn't from a 1 (I hated it!) to a 10 (It was awesome!)
Mikey: I'll give it a 5, which is generous because it felt like a random, thrown-together event populated by B- and C-level characters. A double wedding between Xander/Gwen and Leo/Craig? What show am I watching?!
But once it was underway, I have to say that I was impressed by the production value of the wedding itself -- this felt like one of the bigger weddings we've seen in some time --...

Leo Stark is not who I would have picked out as Craig's new love.
But it's turned out to be a more intriguing story than I expected.
Is Leo yet another unchanged Salem baddie claiming to have turned over a new leaf or not? On Days of Our Lives during the week of 4-11-22, we got some clues that could go either way.
Leo spent time on the phone boasting about how "that bitch" can't get in the way of his wedding to Craig now. Craig told him to stop trash-talking Nancy, and Leo said he was talking about Chloe. Either way, it was an ambiguous conversation.
Leo might have been bragging about how he was about to land a wealthy doctor and live the high life, or he might have meant that the woman trying to interfere in his relationship with Craig wasn't going to get her way.

Get your sunglasses and fans ready: it's time for the Ball! Why are you surprised? They bring it to you every season.
For RuPaul's Drag Race Season 14 Episode 3, the Ball challenge came with a twist that doubled the fun and the fashion.
Some queens stole the show while others were out of style. Fashion is a cutthroat world; all is fair in love and designer.
Before we get to the Balls, "A Pair of Balls" dropped two huge twists that changed the name of the game.
Firstly, Orion Story and Daya Betty's return to the competition wasn't completely surprising. RuPaul's Drag Race hasn't eliminated a queen in the first round for several seasons now. The series wants to give the queens a chance to show their stuff and have the audience get to know them.
Plus, RuPaul's goodbye message to both queens somewhat teased that more was to come.

Two episodes to go before the search for the jewels wraps up!
Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem Season 1 Episode 3 ramped up the drama while also being more light-hearted than previous installments of the limited series.
But how in the world are the writers going to resolve this story before the end of the week?
There was plenty of action as Shane jumped in to help find Paulina's ring, Kristen stole Carrie's necklace, and Billie and Graham got help from a surprising source. But before we get to all that, this has to be said: Leo's constant attempt to get between Will and Sonny is not funny.
Greg Rikaart is a good actor, but Leo's character is mostly one-note. All he does is flirt with both guys and try to create trouble for them so that he can snag one or both of them for himself.

Exclusive: Lisa Rinna is back as Agent Billie Reed in Peacock‘s Days of Our Lives limited series Beyond Salem, and there’s a slew of new and returning characters she’ll be interacting with—some more closely than others.
Monday’s premiere sets up Billie’s role as an Isa agent searching for six precious jewels that formed a priceless artifact known as the Alamanian Peacock. After they were stolen 30 years ago, the gems are suddenly resurfacing all over the globe.
“It’s a little bit like the Maltese Falcon except that we’re looking for the Alamanian Peacock,” Rinna said of the mystery weaving through Beyond Salem. “There’s a lot of wink-wink in this with bringing back past characters. I mean, it’s the funniest thing that Billie is working for the Isa. There’s a lot of tongue and cheek and I think the audience is in for a great ride.

Tamron Hall came out in defense of her interview with disqualified “Drag Race” contestant and admitted sexual predator Sherry Pie (real name Joey Gugliemelli) on Tuesday, telling her audience that the segment should not be interpreted as promoting the disgraced drag queen.
“I’ve been a reporter for 30 years, and I’ve conducted and watched interviews with people who have done bad things. I’ve interviewed rapists, I’ve interviewed murderers … it’s not giving away your platform; it’s called an interview. And people who do bad things are interviewed,” Hall said, responding to former “Drag Race” contestants, among others, who said that hosting Gugliemelli on her show amounted to elevating a perpetrator over his victims.
Gugliemelli competed on Season 12 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” as Sherry Pie, but was disqualified from the VH1 competition after multiple men publicly accused him of posing as a casting director online to coerce them into sexually compromising positions.

With its sassy hook and back-bending choreography, it’s easy to see why the “Drag Race” performance of “I’m That Bitch” enamored RuPaul, the panel, guest judge Nicki Minaj and the Television Academy, earning a whopping six Emmy nominations.
But the jaw-dropping routine would’ve looked very different had Minaj been secured for the Season 12 opener, TheWrap can exclusively reveal.
Beginning with Lady Gaga in Season 9, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has invited pop culture icons to serve as judges for the premiere: Season 10 had Christina Aguilera and Season 11 Miley Cyrus.
“I will give you a little production tea about this first episode,” co-executive producer Mandy Salangsang teased. “Prior to securing her as our premiere judge, this was actually going to be a country song,” she revealed. “We had envisioned ‘I’m That Bitch’ as a country-rock challenge until Nicki Minaj was firmed up. The drag angels must’ve been looking down on us.

On RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 5, the parody of Grey's Anatomy brought back all the iconic tropes you've come to expect from an acting challenge.
Missed lines, some queens shining bright, and others suffering under bad roles. But did the scene come to life or did it flatline?
Before we dive deep into the challenge, we need to talk about Brita and Aiden Zhane. Why does Brita keep bashing Aiden at every turn?
Sure, Aiden is a weaker queen compared to the others, and she should have landed herself in the bottom two for RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 4. However, everything Aiden does is so tightly scrutinized by Brita at every chance.

The 12th season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” kicked off on February 28th and March 6th in a special two-part premiere. In the episodes the 13 queens were divided into two groups and performed independently in group musical numbers that produced two different first challenge winners: Widow Von’Du from Kansas City and Jaida Essence Hall from Milwaukee. Tonight, in the season’s third episode, the queens combined and began the competition to determine which of them will be crowned “America’s next drag superstar.”

Now the games have truly begun! All 13 queens have come together to find America's Next Drag Superstar on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 3.
The introductions have been made and they've left some impressions; we've assessed their talents and picked out the favorites. But, with "World's Worst," this is where the queens start using their skills where it counts.
It's only eliminations from here on out. And the filler queens seem to be the first go.
First impressions count on any reality TV show, especially when there's a team or elimination component. You want to make yourself look the best compared to others so that you'll be valued and kept around.
The queens from Batch A on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 1 knew when to sit back and listen. Their silent observation was the right call to make.

The dirty (baker’s) dozen competing in Season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race finally shared the screen on Friday, and regardless of who actually won or lost, we can all agree on one thing: This was the night that America fell in love with Heidi N. Closet.
The Powers That Be may hate her drag name — Ru even took the time to explain how difficult it is to pronounce — but anytime Heidi got a spotlight, be it on the runway or on the set of a fake reality show, the judges couldn’t stop singing her praises. I’m not...

The 12th season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” kicked off on February 28th by introducing half of the new contestants vying for the crown and title of America’s next drag superstar. Emmy champ RuPaul Charles was on deck, as always, to host and lead a judges’ panel that included series star Michelle Visage, rotating judge Carson Kressley and guest judge Nicki Minaj. In Friday’s second part of the premiere we met the second batch of queens who all walked in a total of three runway shows and performed an original Fosse-inspired musical number to be judged by RuPaul, Michelle, rotating judge Ross Mathews, and guest judges Thandie Newton and Robyn.

Are you ready to pledge allegiance to the drag?
After 11 seasons of love, liberty, and lots of one-liners, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 1 came to slay with a new batch of queens that served amazing talent and fashion. And in patriotic-style!
Let me be your Paul Revere and say the queens didn't just come: they came, they conquered, and the battle for the crown will be the toughest one yet.
Before we get into the nitty-gritty of "I'm That Bitch", the premiere felt very reminiscent of two episodes back in 2014 and 2015: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 Episode 1 and RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 Episode 1.
Since the series has doubled in seasons since then, it's no wonder that Drag Race is paying homage to some of the best premieres from the past. This nostalgia has been a loving nod these last few years.

Seven new queens entered the workroom on Friday’s Drag Race premiere, which also blessed us with a television moment we never knew we needed: Nicki Minaj rapping about Carson Kressley.
I know some fans aren’t thrilled about it, but I actually prefer the premiere being presented into two parts. Among other things, it gave us more face time with each of the new queens — for better or worse.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and “The View” moderator Whoopi Goldberg are among the guest judges on Season 12 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” VH1 announced Thursday.
Ocasio-Cortez is a self-described superfan of the drag queen competition, appearing on the Season 11 reunion special with a message of support for fan-favorite contestant Nina West. Aoc also attended the show of Season 9 winner Sasha Velour and agreed to a “glam session” with contestant Shuga Cain. In a promo for Season 12, Aoc declares, “I pledge allegiance to the drag!”
Goldberg was a guest speaker at DragCon — the annual drag queen convention — in New York last year. She is a vocal supporter of Lgbtq rights, kicking off World Pride Day in June with several notable “Drag Race” alumni.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is coming in hot for season 12 with an all-star roster of guest judges who are ready to sashay and slay the Emmy-award winning reality competition which is set to premiere on February 28 on VH1.
As seen in the trailer for the 12th season, this season’s queens will be pledging allegiance “to the drag” of the “United Queens of Ru-America”. Because it is such a patriotic season, it only makes sense that they have trailblazing politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the judges’ panel this season. Others joining previously announced judge Nicki Minaj include Saturday Night Live alum Leslie Jones, actor Jeff Goldblum, Academy Award-winning actress and View co-host Whoopi Goldberg, music icon Chaka Khan and Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley. Other guest judges include Robyn, Normani, Thandie Newton, Olivia Munn, Rachel Bloom, Daniel Franzese, Jonathan Bennett and Winnie Harlow. The “ru-volution” will be televised with the premiere airing over two consecutive Friday nights.
