After emerging as the sole survivor in a deadly revenge game set up by her dying father to punish his four children, Miriam receives an offer from the Gamemaster, an otherworldly supernatural entity, to go back in time and try again. But the Game master only entraps hapless humans into diabolical conflicts for her species to gamble on the outcome.

"Hell is empty... And the devils are here." Quiver Distribution has unveiled a full-length official trailer for an animated horror-thriller film titled To Your Last Death. It's not that often we ever see any animated horror projects, and it's exciting to watch the animation medium serve up all kinds of different stories. This trippy high concept horror is about a woman named Miriam. In order to save her siblings, she takes on her father and the powerful entity known as "Gamemaster", who ensnares humans into diabolical plots while her species gambles on the outcome. Well that sounds crazy! Dani Lennon voices Miriam, and Morena Baccarin voices the Gamemaster, plus a cast including Ray Wise, Bill Moseley, Florence Hartigan, Damien C. Haas, and William Shatner. The clunky animation style borrows mostly from FX's "Archer", with less character animation and more vivid visuals. I'm not too sure this will good, but it is worth a watch.

Things are about to get bloody. William Shatner narrates the trailer for the new animated film “To Your Last Death,” and his calm and alluring tone of voice will be of just a little comfort for the hyper-violence on display.
The trailer for the “Archer”-style animated film features some twisted, “Saw”-style death traps, brutal attacks with swords, axes, chainsaws and syringes, a woman falling to her death in a spike-filled pit, and even a guy walking around with his brain sliced open.
“Hell is empty, and the devils are here,” Shatner says in a whisper in the trailer.

Family functions often go awry, but few end up quite as bloody as that of the DeKalb clan in To Your Last Death, a crowdfunded time travel splatter story billed as the world’s first feature-length animated horror film.
When warmongering megalomaniac Cyrus finds out he’s terminally ill, he summons his estranged children to his corporate headquarters to discuss his legacy. His paternal instincts, however, are a little askew, and the DeKalb kids—“whore” Kelsey, a Beverly Hills-type prone to self-harm, Collin, an uptight banker who publicly denounced his father’s handling of the state budget, and “autoerotic asphyxiator” Ethan, a wiseass who was “far busier doing his eighth-grade math teacher than eighth-grade math”—quickly find themselves stuck in Saw-style deathtraps devilishly modeled on the various ways they have disappointed dad. The sole survivor is “looney” Miriam, our protagonist, who escapes only to be approached by the mysterious Gamemaster,...

"She loved men... to death." Oscilloscope has released an official trailer (that's Nsfw) for a horror comedy called The Love Witch, written & directed by Anna Biller. The film is a tribute to 1960s pulp novels and Technicolor melodramas, which is why it looks the way it does, and is about a contemporary witch who uses spells and magic to get men to fall in love with her. But after she ends up sleeping with them, they all end up dead, which is not what she was hoping for but can't really control. Samantha Robinson stars as Elaine, with a cast including Elle Evans, Jeffrey Vincent Parise, Dani Lennon, Lily Holleman, and Gian Keys. As funky as this seems, it actually has great reviews calling it "spellbinding & hilarious". Take a look. Here's the official Nsfw trailer (+ a poster) for Anna Biller's The Love Witch, direct from YouTube: Elaine, a beautiful young witch,...

Animated horror films are few and far between, but occasionally someone gets a great idea for one – see Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - that makes us remember the genre can be more than just Alvin And the Chipmunks Meet whichever movie monster happens to need a paycheck at the time. It’s too early to say whether Malevolent is going to be one of those diamonds in the rough – but initial information about the pic is promising.

Josh Levin wrote this great review of Zombieland for Slate back in 2009. His thesis states that Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Emma Stone’s romp through the undead, Bill Murray’s mansion, and the Southwestern United States is so good because the action unspools less like a movie and more like a movie made by a gamer who’s obsessed with first-person shooters. Here’s an excerpt: Zombie cinema has already been sliced into such thin micro-genres— zombie pole dancers! zombie Nazis! — that auteurs of the undead should probably stop striving for originality. And yet Zombieland is something new, perhaps because it borrows from another medium. While the movie may not have been hatched inside a PlayStation, Zombieland reveals why every video-game movie ever made has been horrendous. Games, particularly the kind that get optioned by Hollywood, are supposed to be fun. Movies based on games, however, take themselves altogether too seriously,...

Actress Dani Lennon has been performing since she left the womb (I love saying that when given the chance). Not only is she a geeks dream girl but she is the outdoors type as well. She loves all things sci-fi and horror except for zombies so this is where I come in, I'll protect you Dani. She has several hot projects going on right now with lots more planned for 2011. Check out my latest "Versus" to learn more about horror's newest "hot chick" and my latest crush, Dani Lennon.
Brian S- First off Dani, tell me how you got into acting?
Dani Lennon- I loved to perform since I came out of the womb! I started performing as a singer professionally at the age of 11. I sang in concert halls across Europe and eventually Carnegie Hall in New York. That inevitably led to my love of the stage and theatre.

Where other people spend their time making videoblog shows, pop culture parodies, and three-minute sitcoms, Jeff Varga wants to bring something serious to the world of web television. It could be said that Jeff Varga has a vision for web television - and that vision involves fascist Australian zombies and hot women shooting the holy hell out of each other in Sin City-inspired noir streets. In other words, that vision is Dead End City, and the fifteen-minute pilot episode is out for public consumption. Gary Graham of Alien Nation and Star Trek: Enterprise plays Murphy, a gritty hustler who spends his life dodging bullets and aiming at beautiful women. While avoiding some thugs at a local watering hole ("The Dragon Lady"), a chance encounter puts him in possession of a mysterious elephant figurine - and in the sights of Scarza (Matthew Nicolau), an Australian fascist with a fresh bullet hole in the forehead.
