Quirky YouTube star and actor-slash-musician Flula Borg has dropped a new single dubbed "Self-Care Sunday."
Borg, who hails from Germany, is debuting the track -- an ode to relaxation -- today exclusively on the YouTube channel of Conan O’Brien’s production company, Team Coco (7.1 million subscribers). The song also features an appearance by musical comedy duo Ninja Sex Party, and marks Borg’s first single since 2016’s “Animalbum.” In 2015, Borg also released a song titled “I Want To Touch You,” and he also previously composed music for Grace Helbig’s E! talk show, including a track called "Sweet Potato Casserole."
The music video was directed by Sean Barrett, and sees Borg at a spin class, yoga, and enjoying a farmer’s market, among other weekend activities. The song was co-written and produced by Jim Roach, alongside writers Jay Stolar and David Beiner.

Darren Criss (“The Assassination of Gianni Versace”), Aidy Bryant (“Saturday Night Live”) and Kenan Thompson (“SNL”) earned their first Emmy nominations for acting this year, but these aren’t their first nominations overall. All three of them recently contended for songwriting. And they’re far from the only ones who have crossed the threshold between music and other fields at the Emmys. Far from it.
Criss rose to fame as an actor on “Glee” before earning his first acting nomination, Best Movie/Mini Actor for playing killer Andrew Cunanan in the limited series “The Assassination of Gianni Versace.” But “Glee” is what brought him his very first Emmy recognition. He earned a nom for Best Music and Lyrics in 2015 for writing the song “This Time” from the series finale episode “Dreams Come True.” But he lost that prize to Kyle Dunnigan and Jim Roach, who wrote “Girl You Don’t...

No one loves a great scene more than the person who first dreamed it up -- the writer. We're asking iconic shows' creators and writers to tell Et all about getting to see their most cherished moment on their series make it from script to screen.
For Inside Amy Schumer co-creator and executive producer Dan Powell, it’s an Emmy-winning sketch, “Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup,” from season three. Dubbed by many as the “One Direction parody” -- for its similarities to the band’s hit song “What Makes You Beautiful” -- the sketch skewered the hypocrisy surrounding the "no makeup" movement. And what may have started as a “joke within a joke” for producer Jim Roach and the writers soon became the feminist satire of the year.
The sketch also came early in season three, which included celebrated episodes such as “Last F**kable Day” and “12 Angry Men Inside Amy Schumer.” The show itself...
