Is another Donald Trump victory on the horizon? (The Potus might not be bragging about this one as much, though.)
This year’s Emmys race for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series is a wide-open field, with three previous winners in the mix, including reigning champ Louie Anderson from FX’s Baskets. But if we’re predicting a victor based solely on pop-culture buzz, the frontrunner has to be Alec Baldwin for his scathing parody of President Trump on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. (It also helps that Baldwin is a two-time Emmy winner from his years as Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock.

Jennifer Hudson was M.I.A. at the 2017 Grammys—a shame, considering The Color Purple won the award Best Musical Theater Album. The singer-turned-actress, who made her Broadway debut in the show, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday for the first time in five years and filled the host in on what she's been up to since they last saw each other. When The Color Purple was mentioned, Ellen DeGeneres asked, "You won a Grammy for that, didn't you?" "I did!" Hudson replied. "I didn't see that coming, but yeah, apparently." The Color Purple cast album features Danielle Brooks, Cynthia Erivo and Hudson—who played Sofia, Celie and Shug Avery, respectively—as...

Stars spend nearly as much time sitting in hair and makeup as they do acting in front of the camera. Between filming, red carpet appearances and posing for photo shoots, they’re always getting ready — so much so that some, like Nina Dobrev, are best friends with their trusted hairstylists and makeup artists. But when their glam squads are away, they’re left to their own devices. And for People’s World’s Most Beautiful issue, we challenged Dobrev and actress Amandla Stenberg to go from makeup-free to a full face of makeup in 90 seconds — and without the help of any pros.

So many comedians to choose from, so few roles.
Who you gonna call? Paul Feig!
Feig, whose streak off recent hits includes Bridesmaids and The Heat, confirmed on Twitter today that he will indeed direct the reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise. And this time, it’s ladies only.
It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call.

Watch: Return to the red carpet for 'Ghostbusters' 1984 premiere!
When rumors originally surfaced that Ghostbusters might get the reboot treatment, original star Bill Murray suggested some women to fill the roles: "Melissa [McCarthy] would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny...I like this girl Linda Cardellini a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there."

All our jokes are coming true...
Margaret here, reminiscing back to when The Lego Movie was first announced and we were all so dismissive and full of wisecracks. Hollywood must really be out of ideas, we said. What's next, a Tetris movie?
Well, it's official: a big-budget, live-action Tetris movie is coming and there's nothing we can do about it. Cue the death knell for original stories! Also in the pipeline is an Angry Birds animated feature, which in addition to being less than inspired might also a bit past its moment. Sony has rounded up an enticing group of voice actors including Maya Rudolph, Peter Dinklage, Kate McKinnon, Danielle Brooks, Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader, and Danny McBride; even so, the concept sounds destined for corporate tie-in mediocrity. Then again, that's what many predicted for The Lego Movie, which turned out to be much better than it had any right to be.

The long-in-the-works "Angry Birds" movie is getting ready to take flight, and it's got an all-star comedy cast to breathe life into its animalistic projectiles.
Sony Pictures and Rovio announced this week that Peter Dinklage, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride will lead the feature adaptation of the popular smartphone game. And the impressive ensemble doesn't stop there: Keegan-Michael Key, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz, Hannibal Buress, Cristela Alonzo, Jillian Bell, Danielle Brooks, Latin musician Romeo Santos, and YouTube stars Smosh (aka Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla) will also voice characters in the movie.
Unsurprisingly, filmmakers were excited about the star-studded group that they nabbed for the flick.
"I'm extremely proud of this cast," said producer John Cohen in a statement. "Not only do we have Jason, Josh, Danny, Bill, Maya, and Peter bringing these characters to life, but they're surrounded by an...
