Ariana Madix has been upgraded from visiting bombshell to full-on host for “Love Island USA.” The “Vanderpump Rules” star will replace former host Sarah Hyland for the upcoming Season 6, which is set to premiere this summer.
The reality series follows a group of young people isolated in a beautiful destination, where they strive to remain part of a couple and potentially win $100,000. Typically set in a tropical locale, previous seasons of “Love Island: USA” included Fiji, California, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. Ariana Madix is heading to Fiji.
The Vanderpump Rules star, whose fame skyrocketed after her boyfriend Tom Sandoval cheated on her with one of her friends from the Bravo show, is to host Season 6 of Love Island for Peacock.
She replaces Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, who hosted two seasons of the dating show.
Hyland joined the dating competition for Season 4 when the show moved to Peacock from CBS. Arielle Vandenberg hosted the show since the format was adapted to the U.S. back in 2019 and remained at the helm for the first three seasons.
Love Island will return this summer. It is one of a number of iterations of the format, which began on British broadcaster ITV2. Peacock also recently aired Love Island: All Stars and has spinoff Love Island Games as well as seasons of Love Island South Africa and Love Island Spain.

Ariana Madix’s love story may have imploded spectacularly on Vanderpump Rules, but she’s ready to help new singles find love.
The reality TV and theater star is being lined up as the new host of Love Island USA, replacing Sarah Hyland, who has been at the center of the show’s first two seasons on Peacock.
TMZ first reported the news, revealing that the Modern Family alum is departing the dating series due to a scheduling conflict.
While the deal to hire Madix as a full-time host has yet to be signed, the outlet notes that it is expected to be “signed, sealed, and delivered” very soon.
It’s also unclear whether this is a one-season deal because there’s a possibility Hyland is sitting one season out with plans to return next summer.

It’s Ariana Madix’s world, and we’re just living in it. After weathering the #Scandoval on Vanderpump Rules, the reality star is already signed up for Dancing With the Stars Season 32, and now it seems she’s involved in the dating show Love Island USA, too. In a TikTok video on Saturday, July 8, Madix lip-synched to the viral “Hot New Bombshell Enters the Villa” audio clip (originally used to tease pop star Mabel’s appearance on the British Love Island in 2021). And in the video’s caption, Madix wrote, “Islanders: ready to shake things up? Don’t worry, I don’t bit. #LoveIsland @peacock.” https://www.tiktok.com/@arianamadix/video/7253602570357427502 Commenters begged for answers about the TikTok tease, with some speculating that Madix might be hosting Love Island USA’s upcoming fifth season, which premieres on Tuesday, July 18. Sarah Hyland, who just married Wells Adams, took over hosting duties from fan-favorite Arielle Vandenberg, with Love Island UK narrator Iain Stirling stepping into the narrator role that was held by Matthew Hoffman.
As the summer season winds down, some Love Island USA fans wonder when the Season 4 finale is.
Let’s take a look!
When is the Love Island USA Season 4 finale?
In the past, the duration of Love Island USA was four weeks or a month.

The partnership launches with three collections, each named after a reference on Love Island, which went from being a guilty quarantine binge to one of most popular reality series on the air. In keeping with the summery (and often scandalous) theme of the show,...

It’s time to meet some of the islanders who will be starring in “Love Island USA.”
Peacock released a teaser Wednesday that reveals the first 10 contestants who will enter the villa on their search for love.
From the looks of things, this new spin on the U.S. version of “Love Island” is gearing up to be pretty spicy. One of the islanders, named Sydney, tells viewers that her friends would describe her as “funny as f—” before asking the producers: “Can you cuss on ‘Love Island’?”
We don’t hear the answer, but she replies “Oh, perfect,” which likely means she got the affirmative. Since the new iteration is on streaming, it can get away with much more than any show on broadcast (the first three seasons of “Love Island USA” aired on CBS).
You can get to know the rest of the islanders in the clip above.

The sexy singletons are heading to Peacock.
Love Island, the dating format based on the British smash hit, is moving from CBS to Peacock. The NBCUniversal streamer has given the series, which comes from ITV America, a two-season, 80-episode order.
It comes after the youth-skewing series ran for three seasons on CBS.
Although it’s not unprecedented for unscripted formats to move networks – American Idol, for instance, moved from Fox to ABC – it is still unusual, particularly for a show that had not been canceled at its original home.
Cancellations/Renewals Scorecard: TV Shows Ended Or Continuing In 2021-22 Season
Deadline understands that for the show to move forward, CBS required the format to be retooled given its prevalence on its summer schedule. With the network unwilling to commit to the same number of episodes, producers ITV America took it out and landed a bumper order with NBCU.

Love Island is moving from Fiji to Las Vegas thanks to Covid-19.
The CBS reality series has reportedly started pre-production at Caesars-owned hotel Cromwell, according to Vulture, which broke the news.
It’s thought that production will likely be up and running in August – meaning that along with Big Brother, CBS could have two of its big reality franchises on air in late summer.
As expected, all of the usual health and safety protocols will be adhered to including testing and social distancing and producers from ITV America’s ITV Entertainment will be making the show out of production pods, similar to how America’s Got Talent did on its return in Simi Valley.
Love Island was originally planned to begin airing on May 21. The first season of the show, which is hosted by Arielle Vandenberg, was filmed in a villa in Fiji.

Big Brother and Love Island were two of the big-ticket reality shows that have been put into a holding pattern as a result of the Covid-19 production shutdown.
However, CBS is confident that both non-scripted formats will air this summer, albeit slight later than originally planned.

I Love You my best friend, my cutie, my almost wife," Matt shared on Instagram. And Arielle was just as excited to share the news with her over 1.3 million followers on Instagram. In an equally lovey-dovey caption, the star said, "My FIANCÉ!!! You're the One. My one that makes me smile. My one that I trust with my whole heart. My...

CBS has handed dating reality series Love Island a second season.
The broadcaster is showing faith in the remake of the British entertainment format, which is hosted by Arielle Vandenberg.
The show, which has aired five nights a week in an 8pm slot since July 9, ends its opening run on August 7. Contestants will return to the Love Island villa, situated in Fiji, for another run next summer.
The announcement was made during the TCA summer press tour by CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl and Thom Sherman, Senior Executive Vice President, Programming, CBS Entertainment
While the show hasn’t quite exploded in the overnight ratings, it has performed well for a young audience, bringing the network’s average down considerably during its timeslot. The show has expanded CBS’ summer audience, been well received by young female audiences and has performed well digitally, becoming the network’s most-streamed new show on CBS All Access and CBS.
