A small gesture can make a world of difference, even when it comes from a galaxy far, far away. Mike Elliott's young son was hospitalized in July with a bout of meningitis. He'd undergone a battery of tests, and was dealing with a 105-degree fever to boot. So when one of the hospital employees heard that Elliott's son was a Star Wars fan, he decided to reach out. Well, he didn't exactly reach out - he brought in his life-size R2-D2 replica to do the outreach for him. The plucky robot rolled in to Elliott's son's hospital room and...

He’s always been a bit of a daredevil so when former President George H.W. Bush was deciding on how to celebrate his 90th birthday, the standard cake, candles and party hats just couldn’t cut it.
Instead, Bush took to the sky for a tandem parachute jump with Sgt. 1st Class Mike Elliott, a retired member of the Army’s Golden Knights parachute team.
Prior to the leap, which took place in Kennebunkport, Maine, George tweeted, “It’s a wonderful day in Maine- in fact, nice enough for a parachute jump.”
President Barack Obama told granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager, “He is as fine a man as I know, and whenever I see him with you guys, you can tell how beloved he is by his kids and his grandkids. And I just want him to know that from the whole Obama family, we wish him all the best."...

Universal Pictures has officially started on production for a new untitled Wolfman movie that will go straight to DVD and Blu-ray. The new werewolf thriller is set to be released on on Halloween of next year 2012. Even though it wont be coming to the big screen there's no way it could be any worse than Universal's last Wolfman film, which was a giant werewolf turd. I was so disappointed in that film. This new movie will in no way be connected with the latter, so it's something that might be worth looking forward to, if your into these kinds of horror films like myself.
Untitled Werewolf Thriller stars Stephen Rea (V for Vendetta, The Crying Game), Steven Bauer (Scarface, Primal Fear), Ed Quinn (True Blood, Eureka), Nia Peeples (Pretty Little Liars, Walker Texas, Ranger), Guy Wilson (Almost Kings, Little Black Book), Adam Croasdell (Supernatural, East Enders) andRachel Dipillo (Law & Order,...

They remade The Wolfman a couple of years ago and did a decent job with that. This new werewolf movie from Universal takes place in 19th century Europe so I’m not sure why they didn’t just make a sequel, but this looks good. Here’s what we know about it at this point:
