For most people, being buried alive is one of the most terrifying situations imaginable This is just what happens to Us truck driver Paul Conroy (Reynolds), buried in a box six feet under the Iraqi desert, with nothing but a trusty lighter and an unreliable mobile phone. After remembering that his convoy was attacked by Iraqi terrorists, he realises he must somehow orchestrate his own rescue.

Robert Englund spent some quality time in Italy early last year where he worked with director Alessandro Perrella on Night of the Sinner , which Perrella co-wrote with Roberto Natale. He co-stars with Ivana Miño who is tasked with evaluating a prince's library for insurance purposes. There she discovers a diary which reveals the eccentric prince's dark nature. Perrella has been a fixture in Italian cinema since the late '60s when he began an acting career. He appeared in a Django film, The Hanging Woman (in '73) and Dr. Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks . It wasn't until the '90s that he began to direct. Epic Pictures is currently looking for distro for Night of the Sinner . We'll keep you posted when it gets a release date. Now that Slamdance, Sundance, and Horrorfest 4 are each ready to kick-off this month the trailers and movie promos' are coming in fast and heavy. One trailer that stands out, other than Sean Carter's Culebra, is Chris Sparling's story of a convoy driver kidnapped in Iraq (Buried). Buried stars Ryan Reynolds (Blade: Trinity) as Paul Conroy the driver who awakens in basically a coffin with amnesia. Things become clearer for Conroy and the audience as the film progresses. To be released at Sundance January 23, a small teaser trailer is available for Buried here.
