Denise Draper, formerly an agent in ICM’s unscripted and alternative team, has joined management and production firm Range Media Partners.
Draper joins as a partner and will continue to represent talent, showrunners and production companies in the unscripted space.
She has spent the last six years as an agent at ICM, representing exec producers including Heather Crowe (Love is Blind), Ian Gelfand (Summer House), Karin Jarlstedt (Home Sweet Home), Scott Jeffress (Temptation Island), Elizabeth Jones (The Kardashians), Jeff Thacker (So You Think You Can Dance), Ailee O’Neill (Bling Empire), and Darren Ward (Real Housewives of New York City). This list, among others, will follow her to Range.
During her time at the agency, she sold shows such as Bling Empire, produced by Jeff Jenkins Productions, to Netflix, worked with production companies including Thinkfactory Media and Machete TV and talent such as Flip or Flop’s Christina Hall and her company Unbroken Productions.

Netflix is looking to find a raft of new reality stars with a major casting call.
The streamer has launched netflixreality.com as it searches for new contestants across its slew of unscripted series.
Brandon Riegg, VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series, said it was the company’s largest reality casting call ever and said the move was an “innovative new way for our reality fans to join in on the fun”.

“The Circle” has been renewed for both Seasons 4 and 5, with Season 3 of that series due to debut this fall. “Indian Matchmaking” and “The American Barbecue Showdown” have both been renewed for Season 2. Netflix has renewed “The Circle” for Seasons 4 and 5 (with Season 3 set to debut this fall), picked up second seasons of both “Indian Matchmaking” and “The American Barbecue Showdown,” and ordered new Austin, Texas-set reality show “Roaring Twenties,” the streaming service revealed Monday.

Comedy Central has unveiled its 2018-2019 development slate which includes series orders for Alternatino With Arturo Castro, a Latino-focused sketch series from the Broad City regular, and This Week at the Comedy Cellar, a stand-up series from the famed New York City venue.
The network also has five new shows in development including the weekly series Verified With David Spade, which Deadline revealed last month, and the already announced animated Mall Town USA executive produced by Broad City‘s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer.
Broad City, which was just renewed for a fifth and final season, factors heavy in the development slate. Along with alum Castro’s series is the in-the-works Kevin Vs. Josh, created, written by and starring Kevin Barnett and Josh Rabinowitz. Based on their real-life friendship, it is executive produced by Jerrod Carmichael, Ari Katcher, Avi Gilbert, Barnett and Rabinowitz.

Comedy Central said it greenlit two new series and ordered five pilots as part of its 2018-2019 development slate, readying a stand-up series centered around New York’s Comedy Cellar and preparing a new showcase for Latino comedian Arturo Castro.
