"The Flash" won't race into theaters until June, but before that, you'll be able to snag some exclusive merchandised tied to the superhero movie that has a lot of buzz behind the scenes. Not only has James Gunn described the film as "f***ing amazing" and "one of the best superhero movies" he's ever seen. Perhaps bringing back Michael Keaton as Batman alongside Ezra Miller as multiple Barry Allens has something to do with it. But let's not forget that Ben Affleck is also back as Zack Snyder's version of Batman, and there's a whole new take on Supergirl too. And they're all getting some cool new toys and collectibles for the fans.
Let's take a look at some of "The Flash" merchandise that we're excited to check out soon!

The first poster for DC's upcoming superhero flick "Blue Beetle" is here, and it should come as little surprise that it prominently features, well, a blue beetle. According to Collider, the poster debuted at the fan convention Cxpp this weekend, at the studio's surprise panel in São Paulo.
With this year's major release, "Black Adam," now on digital with a home video release around the corner, the DC Universe is looking ahead to 2023. That means returning characters like Shazam, Aquaman, and The Flash, but it also means an official introduction to Blue Beetle, a hero who first appeared in DC comics back in 1939. The movie's version of the character, Jamie Reyes, is set to be played by "Cobra Kai" and "Parenthood" actor Xolo Maridueña in his first feature film role. While the poster doesn't give us a look at Maridueña's hero in action, it does feature the shiny scarab that's often associated with the character.

There will be decidedly greater connection/continuity between DC TV and film projects once the new Dcu starts taking shape, says James Gunn.On Nov. 1, filmmaker Gunn and longtime producing partner Safran officially stepped into their roles as co-chairmen and CEOs of DC Studios (fka DC Films), where they oversee “the overall creative direction of the storied superhero franchise across film, TV, and animation under a new, unified banner.”
Said “unified banner” will result in a more consistent connection between projects for the small and big screens, whereas, for example, TV’s Barry Allen/The Flash has been played by Grant Gustin,...

Brad Schwartz has been officially named as President, CW Entertainment.
This comes less than a day after Deadline revealed that he was the main candidate for the top programming role following Nexstar’s acquisition of the network.
Former Pop TV chief Schwartz will be responsible for programming strategy, creative and brand development, and day-to-day operations of The CW Network.
He will report to Dennis Miller, President, The CW Network.
As Deadline said yesterday, Schwartz, the man behind Pop TV’s Emmy-winning Schitt’s Creek, makes sense to lead the new look CW, which will have an increasing focus on unscripted shows and fewer, cheaper scripted series.
Miller said that one of the reasons he was hired was because he knows “how to develop and acquire hits with limited resources, nurture talent, and broaden the appeal of diverse media assets”.

Exclusive: The new iteration of The CW is starting to take shape.
Two and a half months after Nexstar Media Group acquired a majority stake in the broadcaster, the new owners are starting to make moves that will determine its programming mix and who will be leading this charge.
Chief among these include the search for a top programming executive, a re-tooling of its scripted lineup and a drive to greenlight more unscripted formats.
This comes after a major round of layoffs at the company as well as the departure of long-term execs such as streaming and branding chief Rick Haskins, ad chief Mitch Nedick and comms chief Paul Hewitt.
Earlier this month, Dennis Miller was named President of The CW Network, replacing Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz. Deadline understands that he has been leading a search for a programming boss with executives such as former Pop TV boss Brad Schwartz...

Issa Rae is putting her industry on blast for the way it is treating a problematic star with kid gloves.
Rae, who is executive producing the new sitcom Rap Sh!t, is one of the few voices in Hollywood to protest the fact that Warner Bros. is likely going to move ahead with Ezra Miller as star of The Flash despite the actor’s continuous legal issues.
Rae was first asked about the state of Hollywood following the #MeToo movement, and didn’t hold back there either.

Candice Patton is opening up about her experience with online harassment after making her debut on The CW series The Flash.
In a conversation with The Open Up Podcast, Patton, who has portrayed Iris West on the series since 2014, explained that she wanted to leave the show “as early as season two” because she felt “severely unhappy” amid a slew of harassing messages online from fans.
The Flash actress explained that signing on for the show and “changing the way people view the superhero genre and creating spaces for women of color that have never had that” was “a lot of responsibility” that came with “a lot of attention.” She noted it was “also a very dangerous place to be in when you’re one of the first and you’re receiving so much backlash from it and there is no help.”

The following contains major spoilers for The Flash
The Flash Season 8 Episode 20
The Flash season 8 came to an explosive conclusion with “Negative, Part Two,” an hour that saw hero Barry Allen face off against the newly assembled Negative Forces alongside his children from the future, reunite with Iris, and survive what may well be his last battle with Eobard Thawne’s Reverse Flash—by choosing not to fight at all.
“This final graphic novel was all about closure,” The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace tells Den of Geek. “[It’s about] coming to a conclusion for some of the story threads that were hanging [out there], I think the largest of which was Iris’s time sickness, but also Barry’s leveling up storyline, which was the theme of this entire season 8.”
In the end, despite the fact that virtually every member of Team Flash from Barry to Allegra to Cecile saw their powers increase this season,...

Ezra Miller (“The Flash“) has had a rough couple of months in the press with dozens of reports of erratic and disturbing behavior. Earlier this spring, the embattled actor was arrested for second-degree assault in Hawaii after an altercation in a bar. More recently, troubling allegations of grooming a non-binary minor (now a teenager) have surfaced. And worse, this week, second allegation came to light about another minor the actor allegedly groomed.

Mo’ speedsters, mo’ problems is typically The Flash‘s mantra. But could Dr. Meena Dhawan aka Fast Track prove to be a true superfriend?

Exclusive: Kausar Mohammed is set to recur in the CW series The Flash as Dr. Meena Dhawan a.k.a Fast Track. She made her first appearance in tonight’s episode titled, “Keep it Dark.”
The CW describes Dr. Meena Dhawan as a titan in the scientific community who deftly balances her hunger for envelope-pushing scientific experimentation with a strong moral compass. These qualities lead Dhawan to discover a new way to democratize the gift of super-speed, finally allowing all humankind to reap the benefits traditionally relegated to meta-human speedsters.
But her discovery also sends Dhawan down a path to become something much greater than she ever expected – a heroic allyship between The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Central City’s newest exciting speedster, Fast Track.
