Nobody works a photo shoot quite like Lady Gaga. Straight off of her unforgettable award season that included Grammy and Oscar wins, the music superstar had the opportunity to cover V Magazine's March issue. And while the publication has had the privilege of serving as Lady Gaga's canvas for a decade, this was extra special. For this shoot, Jean-Paul Goude was able to photograph the A-list star for her 25th V cover. "We tried to turn Gaga into a living doll, a living icon, like the figurines that people collect and put on their mantelpiece, but life size," Jean shared with the publication. In the photos obtained by E! News, Gaga wears a large feathered headpiece with...

The director of Kanye West’s latest music video for “Fade,” Eli Russel Linnetz, is just 24 years old, but he’s no stranger to the work of artists who made their mark on society long before he was born. Linnetz recently told The New York Times about his inspirations for the video, which features actress and singer Teyana Taylor in a steamy shower scene with her real life husband and Cleveland Cavalier Iman Shumpert.
“‘Flashdance’ is just so iconic that it’s hard to move away from that, but the Ohio Players’ album covers were our starting point,” Linnetz told the Times. “Some people picked up on the Grace Jones boxing images by Jean-Paul Goude. I pulled a lot of references from ’70s and ’80s porn, just on Pornhub. That was less about the imagery and more about the texture of the skin, the oiliness. There’s John Carpenter films,...

Can you believe it's been an entire year since Kim Kardashian...and her butt...broke the Internet? On this Throwback Thursday, we remember how in November 2014 around this time, the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star bared it all for Paper magazine, which featured her showcasing her bare behind on the cover and full-frontal nudity in a racy photo shoot. (For free, too.) The photographer Jean-Paul Goude shot the pictures in Paris. An alternative cover showed Kim wearing a black gown and recreating a non-naked version of the man's 1976 "Champagne Incident" portrait, by holding a bottle of Champagne that sends a stream over her head into...

Grace Jones, high priestess of spilling tea, hasn't been mincing words on the press tour for her new memoir, I'll Never Write My Memoirs. She's already offered her judgment on Lady Gaga and other pop stars, calling them "middle of the road" copycats, and has criticized Kanye West for using Amber Rose to rip off her famous photos taken by Jean-Paul Goude. And it seems Jones is not done giving Gaga a piece of her mind. In another interview on SiriusXM, Jones recalls the first time she met Gaga in the flesh: "Gaga came to me, and I just could not find a soul. I come from Church — maybe that has something to do with it. I like to get to the soul of a person. I just didn’t feel a soul." Though Jones adds that Gaga "might have been freaked out with meeting me," their interactions never got...

Kim Kardashian proved that, yes, she can really balance a Champagne glass on her butt like she did for her now-infamous Paper magazine photo shoot, and she's willing to share her secrets with the world. The reality star made an appearance on Australia's The Project on Tuesday to open up about her Internet-breaking stunt with photographer Jean-Paul Goude. After host Rove McManus asked Kim if the Champagne butt shot was photoshop, she clarified that it was indeed real and that her "back hurt for a week after the shoot" due to the intense pose. "It was definitely not comfortable, and things were falling all over the place," she added. Kim then agreed to show Rove, although she added that it might not work because he doesn't have "as big of a butt as I do." So, you throw a party. The party is super neat, everyone is having fun, things are going fine. Then, it gets late, people start filtering out. There are some belligerent stragglers who used to be fun but got way annoying, and finally they leave, too. You really want to go to bed, but there’s one person still there. Just… there. Just hanging out. And then they never leave, so they just live in your house now and you have to deal with it forever, living out your days with this person who just never left the party.
That’s basically Kim Kardashian.
Every new Kim Kardashian-related piece of news brings with it the same types of reaction. Cries of “slut!” — or perhaps “harlot!” if yours is a fancy slut shame — or pleas for “the children!” because no one ever thinks of them, especially Kardashian, according to many.

News has emerged this week that Kim Kardashian – the reality TV star who rose to fame after a sex tape of her and her then-boyfriend was leaked – has an ass. For those of you who haven’t seen the image already (who hasn’t?!), Kim greased up her boobs, crotch and gargantuan behind, cracked open a bottle of champagne and posed – very, very naked – for the cover of Paper magazine. Her goal?
And they say I didn’t have a talent…try balancing a champagne glass on your ass Lol #BreakTheInternet #PaperMagazine

That’s right, she wanted to break the Internet. Public opinion has been divided upon viewing the backside: some saying it’s a hideous deformity (pretty sure Kim and her net worth of $45 million are okay with that) and others are taking time out their daily schedule to wholly admire the massive shiny derriere.

Even though we recently saw a lot of Kim's backside on British GQ's cover back in October, these latest photos, shot by legendary French photographer Jean-Paul Goude, really take the cake - and the Champagne (the cover image is a re-creation of Goude's famous "Carolina Beaumont"). Paper Magazine's latest cover is captioned "Break the Internet" and that's just what the revealing photos of Kim Kardashian and her, um, assets nearly did.
The magazine's chief creative officer Drew Elliott talked to Et about the controversial cover, which Kardashian shot nearly two months ago at Fashion Week in Paris. A small closed set allowed the sexy shots to stay secret until Tuesday's reveal, but Et's got a look at some new photos from the shoot!
As expected, the internet erupted at the sight of the racy pics, which feature Kim's bare booty and tiny waist front and center. One showed the reality star balancing a champagne glass on her backside while the drink launches from a bottle, arcing over her head, a recreation of French photographer Jean Paul Goude's famous 'Champagne Incident."

Recently, Paper Magazine dropped the new cover pic for their Winter 2014 edition, and it features none other than Kim Kardashian, showing off her big ole ass, fully nude and glowing for all the world to see. TMZ ran a story on it earlier today, and judging from what they and their audience had to say, we can all agree that Photoshop is one hell of a piece of software! I mean really. Who in the hell looks like this outside of a cartoon? Anyways, Paper magazine offered up a little blurb about Kim to accompany the photo, stating: "There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house, Kim is what makes the web tick. We tapped legendary French photographer Jean-Paul Goude to recreate his iconic...

Oh, Kim. The Summer of Butts has now rolled into the Autumn of Bottoms as one Kim Kardashian West posed for the cover of Paper Magazine, with her behind trussed up with some sort of oil or perhaps vinaigrette dressing, as to resemble some shiny glazed donuts that happen to also break wind. The magazine decided to put a monumental effort upon themselves to "Break the Internet," and recruited Kardashian West and French photographer Jean-Paul Goude to also recreate one of his seminal pieces of photography, the Nsfw "Champagne Incident." Kardashian West gave herself a pat on the back(side...

Kim Kardashian has taken it upon herself to "break the internet" by Instagramming two of the most revealing and sexual photos ever.
The two images were both shot for Paper Magazine's cover story of the 34-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
The first pic posted shows Kim in a long black Jessica Rabbit-style dress, balancing a champagne glass on her butt, while popping a bottle of bubbly. The champagne arcs through the air and lands all over her back and in the cup. The cover simply reads: "Break the Internet, Kim Kardashian."

It's not subtly sexual, and very Nsfw -- unless you work for a low-budget movie company that shoots films exclusively in rental homes out in the San Fernando Valley. She captioned the pic: "Paper Magazine new cover alert! -- such a honor to work with the legendary Jean-Paul Goude!!!! Shot this in...

Following his first outright foray into thriller-horror territory with "The Skin I Live In," Pedro Almodovar is letting loose with his upcoming comedy "I'm So Excited." A new poster for the film by famed graphic designer Jean-Paul Goude (exclusive to Indiewire before it appears in the May issue of V Magazine) conveys the fun, campy and irreverent tone of the auteur's latest. Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, Karl Lagerfeld and Ridley Scott to be represented at Style and Subversion exhibition
If, in the 1980s, you were making tea with your Alessi kettle, checking the time on your Swatch and humming along to your new Eurythmics album you may be able to call yourself a postmodernist. But then there is another question – did you have an ironic smile on your face as you filled the shiny, expensive, piece of kit?
The definition of postmodernism is a thorny one and is not lost on the curators of the biggest style show dedicated to the movement. "We talked about it endlessly for three years," said Jane Pavitt. "There were many, many definitions that we put forward."
Pavitt and co-curator Glenn Adamson have unveiled details of the V&A's big autumn exhibition, Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990, which will encompass music, art, film, fashion and architecture. It...
