WWE 2K24 hasn’t been off to the best of releases, with those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game reporting a plethora of bugs and glitches hampering the experience. The game was also reportedly crashing, making it unplayable for several players. Even before the game’s early-access release, it was marred with off-ring controversies.
Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar were both part of a controversy surrounding WWE, leading to Lesnar being removed from the 40th Anniversary Edition of the game. McMahon also seems to be blurred out in the game’s Irl cutscenes, although not completely.

The prophecy is how they enslave us – and one sick t-shirt might do the same, as Zendaya has turned up multiple times on the promotional circuit for Dune: Part Two in a tee that gives nod to David Lynch’s 1984 movie. With Zendaya going for this sort of low-key, casual look, she is also paying homage to the film that came before all of the success of Denis Villeneueve’s films.
Some Zendaya fans have noticed that the actress – who plays Chani in both Dune and Dune: Part Two – wore the same Dune shirt, which features Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides (a role taken over by Timothée Chalamet), on more than one promotional outing. It’s a nice touch from the star, especially since Lynch’s movie was an utter disappointment to fans of Frank Herbert’s series. We do have to wonder what David Lynch would think about this cross-promotion,...

Frank Herbert’s Dune novel has long been considered unadaptable for the big screen because of how extensive its lore is, making it difficult to incorporate and encompass every important detail in the movie.
Dune (1984)
The franchise is indeed one of the biggest and most influential in pop culture, and despite the criticism that David Lynch’s 1984 version endured, it remains top-notch when it comes to authenticity, as compared with Denis Villeneuve’s duology.

Denis Villeneuve's new hit film "Dune: Part Two" sees the rise of a villain not glimpsed in "Dune: Part One." In the film, the evil Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård), having lost faith in his nephew Rabban (Dave Bautista) and his ability to exterminate the Fremen on Arrakis, turns to his far more sociopathic, aggressive nephew Feyd-Rautha (Austin Butler), a young man with no remorse and a murderous streak a mile wide. A large section of "Dune: Part Two" is devoted to describing Feyd's horrible evil, with several Bene Gesserit witches noting that he can only be controlled through flattery and sexuality, not conscience. Feyd is a violent, walking id, and the film ultimately culminates in a knife fight between him and the Messianic Paul Atreaides (Timothée Chalamet).

As the fantastical tale of religion and politics in Dune 2 grips the world, the behind-the-scenes stories continue to delight the audience. There is one particular scene that Timothee Chalamet described as the most horrifying ordeal for him during the filming.
This particular scene involved him riding on the iconic sandworms from the movie. The filming blended the use of CGI with practical effects, including sand that made it difficult for the young actor to breathe.
Added to the fine particles and hampering the shooting experience was the blistering heat in the deserts of Jordan, where the primary shooting took place.

Blending Realism With CGI
After the release of the first movie, director Denis Villeneuve spoke to lengths about the seamless blend of practical old-school effects with CGI to bring the world of Dune to life.

A new episode of the Revisited video series has just been released, and in this one we’re looking back at a movie that some may not consider to be a horror movie, but at the very least it is an “experimental psychological thriller” from a highly respected genre director. The director in question is David Lynch, and the movie we’re talking about today is the 2006 release Inland Empire (get it Here). To revisit Inland Empire with us, check out the video embedded above.
Written and directed by Lynch, Inland Empire tells the following story over the course of its 180 minute running time: Nikki, an actress, takes on a role in a new film, and because her husband is very jealous, her co-star Devon gets a warning not to make any romantic overtures — especially since the characters they play are having an affair. Both actors learn that the project...

In “The Fabelmans,” David Lynch is proclaimed by a studio executive to be “the greatest filmmaker of all time.” Sort of. Lynch plays John Ford in a scene based on director Steven Spielberg’s real-life meeting with the Western icon. But for Lynch devotees, the statement certainly rings truer with the “Twin Peaks” creator in the role.
People who like Lynch’s films don’t just watch them: they’re overtaken by them. Lynch’s surrealist instincts as a director can be divisive — he’s had some fairly high profile detractors over the years — but if it works for you, it’s likely he’s one of your all-time favorite filmmakers. That’s part of why, when rumors of Lynch bringing his first feature in almost two decades to Cannes popped up in 2022, there was such widespread excitement, and public disappointment when it didn’t pan out. A Lynch film is unlike any other movie,...

Weakest Link –Pictured: Jane Lynch — (Photo by: Chris Haston/NBC) Back at the dawn of the new millennium, The Weakest Link was one of the hottest game shows on TV. Adapted from the British version with only minimal changes, the original version featured the British show’s host, Anne Robinson, pulling double duty on both sides of the Atlantic. In doing so, she earned a lot of fans, including Jane Lynch. Now, Lynch is the executive producer and host of the show’s revival, which is currently in its third season at NBC. When we spoke to Lynch about the show, she confessed her love for Robinson’s original version.
