“Thank you so much to everyone who voted for my girl Chevel Shepherd, and for that matter for simply voting,” Kelly Clarkson tweeted just hours after her 16-year-old country singer won “The Voice.” Chevel had been predicted to finish in third place, so it was a bit of a shocker when host Carson Daly announced her as the 15th winner of NBC’s singing competition. Kelly’s message continued, “This simple act you do can change someone’s life and it’s a blessing. So from a girl whose life was changed by this simple act I just wanna say thank you for taking the time and being a fan!”

Even though Reagan Strange, Sarah Grace and Abby Cates were eliminated earlier this season on “The Voice,” NBC’s reality TV show welcomed them back for an intimate performance of Lady Gaga‘s “Million Reasons” during Tuesday’s results show. Reagan and Sarah were both sent home during last week’s Top 8 bloodbath while Abby was ousted back during Top 26 week. Watch the ladies’ goosebumps-inducing performance above.

Tuesday’s Season 15 finale of The Voice promised to be a real nail-biter. Kirk Jay, heretofore the frontrunner, had had an off night Monday, and Kennedy Holmes had turned in not one, not two but three dazzling performances. They were so good, in fact, that my praise got me accused of being biased. (I think all my enthusiasm for her means is that I prefer contestants who sing like a dream and don’t stand on stage like they’ve been hit by a freeze ray.) But, considering that just last week, the 14-year-old had had to fight for the Instant Save,...

Chevel Shepherd could pull off the biggest upset in the history of “The Voice” and win season 15 over frontrunners Kirk Jay and Kennedy Holmes, according to 22% of the viewers of Monday’s finale. They give the edge to this talented teen from New Mexico because she is the only singer from Team Kelly Clarkson still in the competition. Those backing Chevel remember that coach Kelly is the reigning champ on “The Voice.”
At her blind audition, Chevel impressed Kelly, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton with her cover “If I Die Young.” She opted to work with her idol, Kelly. Chevel was then pitted against two other artists on Team Clarkson. In each instance Kelly went with her, first in the Battle round when she and Mikele Buck sang “You Look So Good in Love and then in the Knockouts where her performance of “Travelin’ Soldier” outdid that of Sarah Grace.

“The Voice” fans are Not happy that Kymberli Joye was eliminated from NBC’s reality TV show just one week before the Season 15 finale. Based on the results of our recent poll, a whopping 74% of viewers said that Kelly Clarkson‘s gospel singer was “robbed” of a space in the finals. Conversely, only 26% thought that Kymberli’s placement in the Top 8 was “good enough” for her.

Kymberli was one of four artists voted out of Tuesday’s Top 8 results episode, along with Sarah Grace (Team Kelly), Reagan Strange (Team Adam Levine) and MaKenzie Thomas (Team Jennifer Hudson). The two-part Season 15 finale of NBC’s reality TV series “The Voice,” will take place on Monday, December 17 and Tuesday, December 18. One of the four artists vying for the title is the “Country Tinkerbell” from New Mexico, Chevelle Shepherd. She will face off against Kirk Jay (Team Blake Shelton), Chris Kroeze (Team Blake) and Kennedy Holmes (Team Jennifer Hudson).
Chevelle began her journey with a blind audition of “If I Die Young,” which earned a three-chair turn from Blake, Jennifer and Kelly. She shocked everyone when she chose to join Team Kelly, and now she could make history as the first country artist to win who wasn’t from Team Blake.

Even Adam Levine couldn’t save Reagan Strange from elimination this week on “The Voice.” She lost the Instant Save to Kennedy Holmes of Team Jennifer Hudson. Last week, Levine had intervened when Strange was too sick to sing in this sudden death match. He threw one of his other artists, DeAndre Nico, under the bus and urged viewers to vote for Strange.
That strategy worked and she made it through to the Top 8. At the start of the Dec. 11 results show, it looked like she might make the final four. Carson Daly revealed that two of Kelly Clarkson’s artists — Sarah Grace and Kymberli Joye — were the bottom vote getters and were eliminated right away by Carson Daly. Clarkson’s last act, Chevel Shepherd, made the top three as did Blake Shelton’s two remaining artists: Kirk Jay and Chris Kroeze.
That left Strange to face off against Hudson’s Holmes and MaKenzie Thomas.

And just like that, Kymberli Joye, the final gospel singer still in contention to win “The Voice” Season 15, was eliminated during Tuesday’s Top 8 results episode. Because Kymberli and Sarah Grace, both of Team Kelly Clarkson, received the lowest number of overnight votes for their Monday performances, the two powerhouse artists were not given the option of singing for their lives via the instant save. That meant Tori Kelly‘s “Never Alone” (watch above) ended up being Kymberli’s final performance ever on “The Voice.”

Technically, The Voice’s Top 8 Results Show didn’t have a theme. But, unstated though it might have been, we all knew what it was: Thank you, next. Four singers were sent packing ahead of Monday’s Season 15 Finals, and going into Tuesday’s episode, at least based on TVLine’s poll, it seemed likely to be (sniffle) my beloved Sarah Grace, who’d already dodged more bullets than Wonder Woman; Chris Kroeze, who’s a fine singer but let’s face it, not exactly an electric presence on stage; Kymberli Joye, whose Tori Kelly cover hadn’t impressed you...

Before the Top 8 on “The Voice” perform again on Dec. 10, we asked viewers of the show who they think will win season 15. Their overwhelming pick, with a whopping 30% of the total vote, is Kennedy Holmes, who is coached by Jennifer Hudson. That would be sweet revenge for the Oscar and Grammy-winning Hudson, who did not have an artist in the top 4 in her inaugural season on the show last year.
Each of the other three coaches also has one artist that merited double digit support. Blake Shelton‘s Kirk Jay has 25% of the audience behind him; one of Kelly Clarkson‘s three remaining acts, Chevel Shepherd, registers 13% support; and Regan Strange from Team Adam Levine is at 11%; None of the other contestants in the Top 8 broke the 10% barrier and could well face elimination on Tuesday’s show hosted by Carson Daly.

It was Christmas Eve, and 7-year-old Grace finished decorating the dining room table in preparation for the festivities to come the next day. In another room was a fireplace, and at about 8 p.m., the last log of the night burned. By 9, maybe 9:30 p.m., Grace listened to her mom's boyfriend read a holiday classic, Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Then she went to bed in her pink and white room while her sisters Lily, 9, and Sarah, 7, went to bed in their own pink and white room. Those were the final memories their mother, Madonna Badger,...

A rep for the benefit confirmed to the publication that his ex-wife, Madonna Badger “knows about the event, but is unable to attend.” Matthew created his Lily Sarah Grace Fund in April to raise support for the arts in schools. An on-screen couple from Winners and Losers have revealed that they are husband and wife in real life. Australian actors Paul Moore and Sarah Grace, who play Wes Fitzpatrick and Bridget Gross in the new television drama, got married after he proposed on game show Deal or No Deal in 2007.
