While, Hulu is not as flashy as some of the other streaming services like Netflix, Max, and Disney+, it has a solid library of shows that are both originals and licensed through various studios. Regarding sci-fi shows, Hulu doesn’t have any big names like 3 Body Problem or Westworld, but it makes up for that by carrying some great new and old shows like Devs and The X-Files, which were loved by millions of people. So, we thought of making a list of the best sci-fi TV shows you can find on Hulu right now.

Almost eleven months have gone by since we heard that Julie Bowen – who played the character Claire Dunphy on 250 episodes of the ABC sitcom Modern Family – had signed on to star in the coming-of-age Satanic Panic thriller series Hysteria!, which is set up at the Peacock streaming service. Emjay Anthony (Physical), Chiara Aurelia (Cruel Summer), Kezii Curtis (Charm City Kings), Nikki Hahn (Magnum P.I.), and Anna Camp of the Pitch Perfect films joined the show soon after Bowen. Then genre icon Bruce Campbell signed on to play small town police chief Dandridge. Things have been quiet for a while, but now Deadline has revealed the names of several more Hysteria! cast members. They are Garret Dillahunt (The Last House on the Left remake), Nolan North (Pretty Little Liars), Elijah Richardson (Fantasy Football), Milly Shapiro (Hereditary), Allison Scagliotti (Warehouse 13), and Jessica Treska (Alex & Me). Allison Scagliotti is a busy woman!
Currently starring on Freeform's Stitchers, she's just taken a role on The Vampire Diaries Season 8 as an occult reach intern.
Ummm...we're not entirely sure what that means, but we can't wait to find out!
Scagliotti will be playing an occult research intern named Georgie, and will make her first appearance in The Vampire Diaries Season 8 premiere on Oct. 21.
Unsurprisingly, Georgie will be driven by a horrific darkness in her own past.
If you don't mind a guess, that darkness obviously stuck with her, because the occult will only bring her more of it.
And the direction she's heading (since she's being driven and all) is straight in to the mouth of more darkness!
Holy moly, sister. Maybe you should ask directions and a bit about the place you're heading before you visit.
Anyway.
It turns out there are answer for all that. For inquiring minds just like mine!

Three episodes were provided prior to broadcast.
In a post-Hunger Games world, Stitchers, which returns to Freeform for its second season on March 22, should be hitting the jackpot. With a mythology that is part CSI and part Minority Report, as well as a heroine who is prickly, beautiful and destined to save the world, it seems as though the series is set to ride the wave that modern Ya fiction has created – right into the hearts of Freeform’s engaged teen viewers.
However, while the show might sound like a hit on paper, the result is a messy combination of ambiguous plot points and a tone that, unfortunately, talks down to its audience. There are plenty of examples of smart, mythology-heavy procedurals made for teens, but Stitchers just isn’t one of them.

For those of you new to the series, Stitchers centers on Kirsten Clark (Emma Ishta), a brilliant...

ABC Family is hoping that Stitchers will be a hit in the ratings and is pairing it with their most popular show, Pretty Little Liars. That strategy didn't work out so well for Ravenswood (a spin-off that was cancelled). Will Stitchers be a different story? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.

ABC Family got into the murder-solving business on Tuesday night with the premiere of Stitchers, a slightly fantastical new drama about hacking into dead people’s memories. But will you return for the next case of “stitching”?

Many shows live and die by their main character’s ability to make you stop caring about anything else that might be sub-par. You may need a semblance of general story, depending on how hard you push the episodic nature of the show, but if you have the right lead, you only need above-average plot lines to keep people in their seats.
Stitchers has a lot in common with House M.D. in this regard. The cases were often intriguing, and though the perpetual doubt of House’s abilities grew tiring, the overall arc was pretty good. Still, Hugh Laurie made the show.
The plot of Stitchers is a “sci-fi fun” one, which for ABC Family means it balances the “need to know” with the “just play along,” and it doesn’t overwork the complexities of things, nor does it talk down to the audience… much. It’s solid, though perhaps...

Two episodes were provided for review purposes prior to broadcast.
ABC Family has never been known for its quality programming, but Stitchers may mark a creative low-water mark for the sudsy network. Shamelessly pilfering aspects of its premise from Unforgettable (the lead with flawless, absolute memory) and iZombie (accessing the memories of the deceased in order to answer questions about their deaths), the series is not just painfully unoriginal but shockingly uninteresting. Given that this is ABC Family’s first foray into sci-fi territory, what’s most surprising about the show is how totally it fails to put an interesting spin on its “cutting-edge technology” set-up.
Emma Ishta (essentially an Emily VanCamp clone so wooden she probably fends off opportunistic loggers on a daily basis) plays Kirsten Clark, a so-called human being (none of her actions back up that identifier) with temporal dysplasia, a rare condition that in principle means...

Coming hot on the heels of last weeks episode which wrapped up the main storyline post the season 4 cliffhanger and it’s fall out (the alternate timeline, Claudia’s sister etc.), this series finale had plenty of breathing room to give the series the send-off it truly deserved, a send-off which will both please and frustrate long-standing fans. In the course of watching Syfy’s Warehouse 13, did you ever wonder if Steve Jinks had a side to him that would just, to coin a phrase, queen out?
Well, we’ve gotten our wish!
There are only a few episodes left of the beloved series, which also stars Hot 100 fave, Eddie McClintock along with Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, Allison Scagliotti and, of course, Aaron Ashmore, who plays Jinks, and Monday’s episode gives us what we’ve always wanted – Super Gay Jinks!
Yes, in Monday’s episode, aptly titled “Savage Seduction,” Jinks is split in two and has to contend with a physical side of himself that is as gay as the day is long (and, having had an early peek at the episode, Ashmore nails it!). Also, Lattimer and Bering end up in a telenovela, which is its own kind of awesome.
