Coming on the heels of his experimental assassin flick “Aggro Dr1ft”, which made extensive use of infrared technology, and the forming of his new production company/design collective Edglrd, Harmony Korine is adding to its output with a new music video from bladee and Yung Lean called “One Second”.
Featuring a constant bass-pumping beat and visuals that range from hi-def gaming sequences to classic fish-eye lens close-ups on bare bellies and disarming masks, “One Second” plays as a level-up on the kind of chaotic splendor Korine introduced with films like “Spring Breakers” and “Trash Humpers”. Korine is clearly a fan of bladee and Yung Lean, as exhibited by the DJ sets he performs with them at Miami’s Boiler Room Club. The club setting seems to be the perfect environment for Korine’s experimentation, as he recently screened “Aggro Dr1ft” in Los Angeles at a strip club for its first ever immersive experience.

On his fourth studio album, Utopia, Travis Scott unleashes a familiar bag of tricks: seemingly endless beat switch-ups, seemingly for pure showmanship’s sake; a who’s-who of guests, ranging here from Dave Chappelle to James Blake; and an eclectic sonic palette courtesy of the biggest producers working today. Of course, the Houston rapper himself serves as the ringleader to the unfurling chaos, with his trademark bleary vocals—usually slathered in an excessive amount of Auto-Tune—zigzagging across each track.
The album operates less as a cohesive body of work and more as a series of show-stopping set pieces, each one seeking to out-do the last. By the time you get to “Telekinesis,” Utopia’s operatic penultimate track, it feels like the album has already reached at least three different climaxes. Simply put, Scott is in the business of engineering spectacles.

A few hours before he dropped his long-awaited studio album Utopia, Travis Scott shared its official 19-song tracklist. The image included each title written out in near-illegible scribbles with a harsh, grainy filter overlay making it all the more difficult to decipher. Throughout the list, there were no featured artists, but the album’s arrival revealed appearances from Beyoncé, Drake, The Weeknd, Sza, James Blake, and more across its stacked guest list.

Utopia is the follow-up to Scott’s 2018 album, Astroworld, and arrives as Scott’s first full-length since the crowd crush at his 2021 Astroworld music festival that left 10 people dead and thousands more injured. Last month, a grand jury declined to criminally indict Scott for the deaths at Astroworld.
Ahead of the album’s release, Scott shared the lead single, “K-pop,” a collaboration with Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. Other guest contributors include Beyoncé, Drake, Sza, Future, 21 Savage, and Kid Cudi as well as Bon Iver and James Blake.
Music from Utopia is also featured in Scott’s new film, Circus Maximus, which premiered at select AMC theaters beginning on Thursday night. The Houston native wrote the movie and co-directed it with Gaspar Noé, Nicolas Winding Refn,...

Emily Ratajkowski is showing off her supermodel figure in a sheer and handkerchief-style minidress. Her Instagram Story on Friday quickly went viral and came followed by a jovial TikTok complete with the same outfit.
Posting a selfie indoors to begin with, Emily sizzled as she showed off her long and toned legs, also upping her Western game in a stylish pair of cowboy boots.
Emily, 31, opted for red prints and a gray panel section as her dress chopped up styles and fabrics. She also showed off her toned thighs as lower parts of her dress came sheer.
The Inamorata founder posed amid a swish bedroom and in front of her mirror, wearing her signature dark locks down and angling a hip slightly to better accentuate her silhouette.
No caption was offered, although plenty of action came as she reposted the look...

In 2017, Lil Uzi Vert’s “Xo Tour Llif3” peaked at Number Seven on the Billboard Hot 100. The song explored themes of substance abuse and suicide, finding a loyal audience in young listeners. In the chorus, by now etched in rap infamy, Uzi sings, “Push me to the edge/All my friends are dead,” with a bouncy, almost cartoonish swing. The track’s emotional dialogue marked a shift in hip-hop. Emo rap, a subgenre that grew in popularity on SoundCloud during the 2010s, was becoming mainstream.

FKA Twigs is known for her athleticism, and she shows off some of her most impressive moves yet in the video for her song “Killer.” She debuted the upbeat track during her stunning Tiny Desk Concert at London’s St. Matthias Church back in June and dropped the official audio a few weeks later.
Today, she’s released the Yoann Lemoine-directed video for “Killer.” Twigs performs gorgeous choreography by Juliano Nuñes, and her dancing is spliced between black-and-white scenes she shot with the actor Arón Piper on a beach in Portugal.

FKA Twigs has dropped another music video from her recent LP Caprisongs, this time for “Which Way,” featuring Dystopia. The low-fi video was directed by Aidan Zamiri, who also helmed her “Honda” and “Oh My Love” videos.

Last month, in the expansive parking lot of a door factory turned music venue in Queens, I found myself submerged within a throng of young people waiting to get into the second night of the Swedish music collective Drain Gang’s sold-out New York performances. The crowd chattered excitedly over one another, some chain smoking and a few filming TikToks. They all shared a specific aesthetic sensibility: nods to Y2K-era camp and goth-inspired pop-punk mixed with gender-neutral eyeliner, bedazzled sunglasses, and fingerless gloves. There were skater beanies in profusion.
