Univision anchor Jorge Ramos doesn’t like the way his network handled an interview with former President Donad Trump.
Ramos criticized the network in a column published Saturday, saying that journalists must continue to question those in power. Ramos is a long-time Trump critic, and his remarks were aimed at a Hispanic audience that some feel may be growing more disillusioned with Democrat policies and may swing what is expected to be another tight presidential election in 2024.
“That’s why it is very dangerous to fail to confront Trump. And that’s why it is our moral obligation to confront him every time there’s a journalistic opportunity to do it. But I understand that not everyone agrees, and I open the debate here,” Ramos said.
“I believe we must question and confront Trump for democracy, for the rights of immigrants and, simply, for good journalism,” he wrote.

As they always do, the women of “The View” celebrated Thanksgiving together with an on-air feast on Wednesday. But the hazard of having food and drink during the show is that it might get distracting — and it did. So much so, in fact, that host Ana Navarro called out Whoopi Goldberg for her loud slurping.
The moment came during the second topic of the day, wherein the women discussed proper Thanksgiving etiquette. For Ana Navarro, the biggest issue she always has when hosting events is the concept of the RSVP. The host noted that it’s very important to her that her guests RSVP, and show up with no more and no less than the amount of people they indicated were coming.
As Navarro further explained why this particular bit of etiquette is most important to her, Whoopi grabbed her drink and sucked down what was left of it. But,...

As both of her brothers took the stand in their father’s civil fraud trial in New York this week, Ivanka Trump filed a request to have the trial paused entirely, because her turn to testify falls during a school week. So, on Friday morning, the hosts of “The View” laid into her for it.
First and foremost, the women were amazed that she tried to get out of the situation at all.
“When I saw this, I was like, it’s not jury duty. You’re being subpoenaed by a court of law,” host Sara Haines marveled. “You don’t get to be Liz Lemon coming in looking like Princess Leia to get out of it.”
But what Haines took bigger issue with was the fact that, according to Ivanka’s request, making her testify “in the middle of a school week” will create “undue hardship” in her life.

Ana Navarro is thoroughly enjoying the drama surrounding Ron DeSantis and his shoes. On Thursday morning’s episode of “The View,” the ABC host delighted in how it’s such a “complete self-own” by the Florida governor, considering he’s made his opinions on men wearing high heels very clear.
For those who haven’t kept up, DeSantis is currently swatting down rumors that he wears lifts in his shoes in order to make himself appear taller, after folks on social media started roasting some odd-looking boots he’s been wearing. DeSantis maintains that he does not wear lifts, and that he’s 5-foot-11.
As moderator Whoopi Goldberg teed up the segment and gave viewers context around the drama that’s been plaguing DeSantis, Ana Navarro could only laugh loudly as each new detail and development was summed up. And, when it came time for her to weigh in on the situation,...

In the third season of Lucasfilm’s “The Mandalorian” (now streaming on Disney+) the narrative took some interesting detours. While it had previously been centered on the title character (Pedro Pascal), it took on new meaning as it focused on the story of Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff), an outcast Mandalorian looking to reconnect with her tribe.
Further volume and texture were given to the series thanks to the emphasis on Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), who went from a morally nebulous underworld figure to a leader of the community of Navarro. While it might have veered away from the core idea of the series, it gave the series a much-welcomed new energy and kept the show fresh and exciting.
TheWrap spoke with Sackhoff and Weathers about their characters this season, the change in direction and whether they’ll show up in Filoni’s “Star Wars” movie.
You guys have been on the show for a while.

Benjamin Aguilar Levy continues to be a bright spot and welcome addition to this series. It's always exciting to peel back some layers on this new character.
That said, Chicago Pd Season 10 Episode 21 was a confusing, underwhelming, redundant hour.
I will be brutally honest with you guys; I didn't know what was happening for most of the hour.
It was time for a Torres-centric, and goodness knows those can typically be great. He's not only a fascinating character, but he's still new and mysterious, so they can explore a treasure trove with him as we and the team continue to get to know him better.
But was this the strongest Torres-centric they've produced this season? No. It wasn't for lack of trying on Aguilar's part, who is always captivating to watch regardless of what's happening.
Yes, I adore the guy, and it probably sounds repetitive at this point, but it's no less true.

A new adult animated series starring Mexican actor and comedian Eugenio Derbez is in the works at Spanish-language streamer ViX.
The Book of Life and The Secret Life of Pets voice star will lead Circo Gómez, an irreverent comedy that follows a dysfunctional family running a shoddy traveling circus. The series is produced by Derbez’s 3Pas Studios, which he co-founded with Ben Odell, and is currently in development as part of a first-look deal between the studio and TelevisaUnivision.
Arturo Navarro and Teco Lebrija’s F3 Media will serve as the series’ animation studio, with Navarro and Lebrija also writing on the series. After launching their animation studio, the duo created the Familia del Barrio YouTube channel, which led to a 94-episode series produced for MTV and Comedy Central.

Trump Prophesies. “Demonic” Democrats. Totalitarian threats. And predictions of combat with mermaids(?!). The Trump Doral was a hive of far-right and religious extremism this past weekend. And whatever doesn’t weird you out, should freak you out.
Trump’s Miami property played host to a one-two punch of reunions for Pastors For Trump — the charismatic evangelical body hyping up the Trump ‘24 campaign as a gift from the Lord — and the Re-Awaken America tour, the traveling Maga circus that platforms retired Gen. Across 16 episodes of The Mandalorian (and three episodes of The Book Of Boba Fett), there are three key things we’ve learned about Grogu’ Greef Karga, the kid is using his Force powers to… steal red jelly bean-looking snacks? Sounds about right! Watch the clip here:
It’s an adorable first look at the return of Star Wars’ small-screen saga (see Grogu spinning himself in the chair!), but also teases a little bit of what’s to come in Season 3. As we know, Din Djarin is in The Armourer’s bad books for removing his helmet in the Season 2 finale (he’s officially “an apostate”), and he’s still filling all his pals in on the events that led him to reunite with young Grogu. And it sounds here like Greef – now resplendent in a lavish red robe – is trying to convince Mando to set up shop on Navarro.
…And that’s it.

After 11 votes this week, Kevin McCarthy still has not secured the number needed to become the next House speaker, but he’s continuing his efforts to do so. Even if he succeeds, “The View” host Ana Navarro thinks he will be “castrated” in the position.
During Friday’s Hot Topics discussion, the women of “The View” couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that the speaker has now hit double digits in the loss column, playing a supercut of every time it was announced on the house floor that “A speaker has not been elected.” And while the hosts were entertained, they reiterated their beliefs that the chaos in the House is detrimental to governmental processes at large, and perhaps McCarthy should withdraw.
Navarro, who celebrated her birthday on Friday’s show, argued that, even if McCarthy finally does manage to get the votes he needs, he won’t...
