Disney Branded Television and Disney Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) looks set to reveal a slew of new titles at France’s Annecy Animation Festival.
Apart from “Disney Junior’s Ariel,” a new series inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” pre-school adventure series “Magicampers” has also been greenlit.
Set at a day camp for magical creatures – its protagonists, Darly and Loomis, are half-pig and half-Pegasus, and half-donkey and half-unicorn – and created by Obie Scott Wade, it’s set to premiere globally on Disney+ and Disney Junior next year.
“We instantly fell in love with this ensemble of unique hybrid characters, who each combine something magical and something ordinary within themselves,” said Orion Ross, vice president of animation for The Walt Disney Company Emea.
“Their adventures in this lush fantastical world are wildly fun and also explore what it means to grow up and discover yourself.”

Rambo: The Video Game has offered a first look at its gameplay in the new reveal trailer.
Reef Entertainment shows Sylvester Stallone's movie hero dispatch his enemies with guns, arrows, knives, explosives and his bare hands in the video.
The trailer also shows off Rambo's classic mud-cover stealth technique.
The actor has lent his likeness to the game based on the long-running action movie franchise, which incorporates scenes and settings from the original three films.
Rambo: The Video Game will be playable for the first time at next month's Gamescom Expo.
"We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August," the Reef's commercial director Craig Lewis previously said.
"During this time we have been dedicated to creating a video game for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and...

Publisher Reef Entertainment will be unveiling their Rambo game during Gamescon, give us a "coming soon" site for now.
Happy birthday, Sly!
While the 66-year-old actor has begged off making any more Rambo films (and really, how can you top 2008's gore-drenched Rambo), that doesn't mean that the character can't come back in video game form.
While U.K. publisher Reef Entertainment still hasn't provided any additional details about what kind of game Rambo: The Video Game will be, we'll doubtless find out more this August when Gamescon takes place in Cologne in August. According to the company's Commercial Director, Craig Lewis, Rambo: The Video Game will allow players "to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle." So, bows, Ak's, and mental trauma, then?
Whatever the result, it will have a hard time beating the best Rambo game we've played this year.

Thanks to an unprecedented medical procedure, in March of 2011 a terminally ill man with no heart and no pulse left the hospital he was supposed to die in and returned home with his wife. Heart Stop Beating is a short documentary about the two heart surgeons that made that medical miracle possible. The should-have-been-dead man in question, a one Craig Lewis, had a rare blood disorder that was causing chronic organ failure that would lead to his inevitable death within a matter hours. In the face of such a dismal forecast, Lewis volunteered himself for a brave new treatment: He allowed two heart surgeons, Dr. Billy Cohn and Dr. Bud Frazier, to cut out his heart completely and replace it with a centrifugal pump. Unlike other artificial hearts, which assist the original organs...

Like his "First Blood" theme song says, it's been a long road for John Rambo: a novel, four movies, two Silver Stars, four Bronze Stars for Valor, four Purple Hearts, the Medal of Honor, even a soundtrack featuring the music of Frank Stallone (that must be what the Purple Hearts were for). But none of that compared to the horror of his appearances on video game consoles, particularly in one unforgettably terrible Nintendo game that sucked tens of dollars and hundreds of hours out of the lives of thousands of kids of my generation. I never had to go to Vietnam, thank God. But I had to play the "Rambo" game, which left its own brutal scars on my psyche.
Rambo's made scattered gaming appearances here or there in the years since, and just last spring I told you about his hilariously violent arcade light gun game that is truly a sight to behold.

A security guard was stunned to see his photo and that of two friends featured on a police 'wanted for burglary' poster. Craig Lewis, from Knowle, was seeking a new coat for Christmas and visited an outdoor shop in Bristol with his brother Philip and friend Luke Monks. A day later the shop was allegedly burgled and goods worth £14,000 were taken. Lewis, 22, said he was stunned when a poster appeared a few weeks ago featuring the trio under the words ''burglary - Outdoors - Brislington''. He told The (more)...
