J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) is a vital character on The Young and the Restless. The former hero turned into a villain during his last run on the show, which ended in 2019. But after a four-year absence, he could be returning to Genoa City.

When The Art of Christmas premieres on Gac Family tonight, husband and wife duo Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger will be along for the ride.
They'll be co-starring as the best friends of the lead characters, played by Brigette Kingsley and Joe Towne.
That sounds lovely, but the road to The Art of Christmas for Darin and Kelly was quite a wild ride.
I'd never had the pleasure of meeting Darin and Kelly when I jumped on the phone with them last month, but I had just watched lauded horror film, Barbarian.
I know, I know. It's an odd thing to mention in an interview about a Christmas movie, but as I soon discovered, their adventure to make the movie came a little too close to a bona fide horror movie for anybody's liking.
So how on earth did that happen?
To begin with, it was Kelly's first project after both of her children.

The Young and the Restless is bringing back an original cast member, with her appearance the first she’ll make on the daytime soap opera since 2018. Janice Lynde will be reprising her role as world-renowned pianist Leslie Brooks when she makes a return visit to the soap. She will be appearing in multiple episodes in the middle of October. Will we see her playing piano and singing again? We can never assume anything on a soap. Lynde was first seen as Leslie in the first episode of The Young and the Restless in 1973. She went on to appear in five other episodes in 1973, 1975, and 1979. She was last seen on the daytime soap in 2018, for the show’s 45th anniversary. In addition to her role on Y&r, Lynde appeared on other daytime soaps including Another World (as ...

You can always count on plenty of plot twists when watching daytime soaps, and that’s also true of the Daytime Emmys, whose 2019 nominations were announced on March 20 live on CBS’s “The Talk.” Check out the full list of nominees here to see who made the cut, and scroll down to find out who didn’t.
These nominations were preceded by the pre-nominations, which were announced in January and included all the actors in each drama category whose work would then be evaluated by blue ribbon panels to decide the nominees and winners. The number-one show in those pre-nominations was “The Young and the Restless,” which had 21 actors cited across seven races. It was shocking then to see that only five of those actors made the final list of nominees.

The Young and the Restless fans can look forward to a familiar face as Kelly Kruger reprises her role in early November. What brings Mackenzie back to Young and the Restless? Could she be the mystery blackmailer sending spooky messages to J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) killers? We last saw the talented actress on Y&R this summer. At that time, she was hellbent on finding her derelict hubby, J.T. Little did she know, he wasn’t missing, he was dead. Or is he? J.T. was last seen being heave ho’d into the fresh dirt at Chancellor Park. But who’s to say that he […]

Soap Opera Digest reports that two “The Young and the Restless” alums are returning to Genoa City — again. Lauren Woodland and Kelly Kruger start taping again soon and will be around for an “indefinite” time. They recently came back to the show in March for the 45th anniversary of “Y&R,” and their next scenes are expected to start airing in June. Do you think they should stick around for good this time?
Woodland originally played Brittany Hodges on “Y&R” from 2000-2005. As a teenager Brittany dated Jt Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) and then Billy Abbott before eventually marrying Raul Guittierez (David Lago). During her original run on the show she earned one Daytime Emmy nomination for Best Younger Actress in 2004, which she lost to Jennifer Finnigan (“The Bold and the Beautiful”). When Wreckage first started it had me worried. The basic premise of the opening scene is two kids caught up in a shooting of their mother and her bully of a boyfriend. The thing that worried me was the acting and quality of the effects on the shooting. It just seemed to be a failed scene in what should have been the opener to lay the grounds for the movie. Not a good sign at all.
Gladly this changed quickly though as we moved on into the “years later” scenario and the story found its footing. It’s a typical tale where we are introduced to four average young people who take drive into the middle of nowhere but end up breaking down. They remember they saw a junk yard a...

It was more like a star-studded affair for television series rather than a celebration for the impending "Entourage". On Wednesday, June 16, Paramount Pictures Studio in Los Angeles hosted a brown carpet event for season 7 premiere of the HBO series, welcoming not only the main cast but plenty of guests as well.
Representing the show were Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrian Grenier and Jerry Ferrara among others. Meanwhile, producer Mark Wahlberg came with wife Rhea Durham in tow. Faces from the past like Maria Menounos, Autumn Reeser, Carla Gugino and Kelly Kruger offered their support for the show that once had them.
Porn star Sasha Grey and singer Lenny Kravitz were spotted at the event as the upcoming season's guest stars. P. Diddy and Marky Mark are also in the guest list but they did not show up at the party. In the meantime, the non guest...
