Miley Cyrus' mysterious new music video for Rock Mafia is set to be developed into a movie. The "Hannah Montana" actress stars with Kevin Zegers in the promo for "The Big Bang", in which the "Gossip Girl" hunk chases Cyrus through the streets of New York and they share a passionate kiss - before suddenly realizing he has imagined her.
The clip has become an internet hit - and Rock Mafia singer Tim James admits movie bosses are interested in extending the concept into a big screen film.
He tells MTV.com, "They're actually talking about a movie. I'm excited about that too. There's a couple of producers putting together story lines and stuff. That's really exciting."...

Today is Alabama’s primary election day. Local news sources are breathlessly reporting a “light to moderate” turnout, and cautioning voters that they “don't have to worry about long lines or crowds at the polls.” We’re excited too! Let’s survey today’s action. Should relatively conservative congressman Artur Davis win the Democratic gubernatorial contest, he could go on to become Alabama’s first black governor. On the Republican side, the nearly alliterative Bradley Byrne is leading the seven-way race. However, we at Vf Daily will be rooting for hilarious harlequin Tim James, whose father, former Alabama governor Fob James, is already famous for his anti-evolution comedy act.

"For those who don't know me, I can get a bit crazy," Miley Cyrus says in her brand new single, "Can't Be Tamed." Following pole-dancing performances and revealing photos, anyone who does know her would know that too.
The synth-driven single just premiered on radio, MySpace, and YouTube today, with Cyrus singing she goes "through guys like money flying out the hands." A far cry from "Hannah Montana." When she sang "Let's Get Crazy," she meant just getting up and dance.
Her new single seems to come from the school of Christina Aguilera's "Not Myself Tonight." Cyrus, who like Aguilera described her upcoming album as electronic-leaning, offers up a bouncy, slightly auto-tuned summer pop hit. It's no "Party in the U.S.A.," but this Cyrus sounds like she's having one.
The track finds Cyrus collaborating with Antonina Armato and Tim James, who also helmed her hits "See You Again" and "7 Things.

Tim James, the Alabama gubernatorial candidate turned America’s newest internet celebrity thanks to an explosive campaign ad declaring “this is Alabama; we speak English” made his primetime cable news debut on tonight’s O’Reilly Factor. Facing off against a combative Juan Williams, James insisted his ad had nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with "common sense."...

Alabama gubernatorial candidate Tim James has become a national punchline for his "this is Alabama; we speak English" ad, and while the ad was originally probably only good as fodder for the liberal satirists over at Wonkette, the Arizona immigration law has made its blatant xenophobia newly relevant. And to Rick Sanchez, who isn't a native English speaker, it gave him a chance to indulge in the delightful irony of making fun of someone else's accent, for a change.

Several photos taken from the filming set of Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed" music video have hit the web. They capture male and female backing dancers in colorful outfit and make-up but the "Hannah Montana" star herself is not seen in those pics.
The video will offer something "edgy" with the Disney singer caught in a giant bird cage. "Imagine 'Party in the USA' on steroids," a source close to the production testified earlier this month. "It will blow people away."
"Can't Be Tamed" is the title track of Miley Cyrus' 2010 summer release. It is produced and co-written by "7 Things" collaborators Tim James and Antonina Armato and will be unleashed on April 30 and sent to radios on May 3. The video, meanwhile, is directed by Robert Hales and will likely to be debuted after the song release.

Acting as a good boyfriend for his leading lady Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron threw a surprise party on Monday night, December 14 to help celebrating her 21st birthday. Held at East Restaurant & Lounge in Hollywood, the bash was attended by the birthday girl's celebrity friends, including the likes of Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow, and Corbin Bleu. Besides, "High School Musical" director Kenny Ortega and Vanessa's songwriting team Tim James and Antonina Armato were also present. There were about 100 of her closest friends in attendance, People reports.
Vanessa, who arrived at the venue in a chauffeured Audi Q7 with Zac, wasn't aware about the surprise until she walked inside. She "was completely surprised!" says a guest at the party. Not only is Zac Efron a total babe, he's also a good boyfriend! Just last night, he threw girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens a surprise 21st birthday party at East with about 100 of her closest friends. News, including Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, High School Musical director Kenny Ortega and Vanessa's songwriting team Tim James and Antonina Armato. (Apparently, the doorman isn't up to date on his Disney stars. Watch as he asks Ashley to ID herself and even asks Selena to spell her name before letting her inside the soiree!)
