Whenever I want my food to taste better, I'll preempt a meal with an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, And Dives or The Best Thing I Ever Ate as a way to get my stomach rumbling and my mouth salivating. This turns out to be an incredibly rewarding experience, and the same philosophy allows me to truly enjoy Hungry In..., a new joint production between Citysearch and Electus that premiered on the latter company's Hungry channel last week. The conceit of the show is simple: Six local food writers, each hailing from a different city, take you on a tour of their favorite places to eat. The foodie Wonder Team consists of New York's Josh Ozersky, Los Angeles' Adrianna Adarme, Philadelphia's Brian Friedman, San Francisco's Marcia Gagliardi, Austin's Tolly Moseley, and Chicago's Erica Bethe Levin. The show will thus profile not only the flavor profiles of various cities but also the differing attitudes of each critic.

All-male singing groups -- better known by the sometimes disparaging moniker "Boy Bands" -- are having a renaissance.
I believe Justin Bieber reignited teen girls' passion for pop music, something One Direction and The Wanted are now capitalizing on. The former debuted atop the Billboard 200 charts last month, and now The Wanted aims to replicate their countrymen's success with the April 24 debut of their first American Ep, Gold Forever.
To further help them integrate with American culture (their hit song, Glad You Came, has already been covered on Glee), The Wanted will perform on tonight's American Idol results show. In anticipation of that, I caught up with Tom, Max, Siva, Jay and Nathan during a recent iHeartRadio performance in NYC to talk about breaking into America, why they don't see boy band as a dirty word and when it's Ok to steal from fans.

At the 2011 Video Music Awards, Lady Gaga's alter ego Jo Calderone presented Britney Spears with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award by telling the audience that Spears "taught us all how to be fearless." And that fearlessness was honored with a dance-heavy tribute to the pop star. Brit's ever-growing legacy is the reason why she was so deserving of the special award, her celebrity fans and members of her inner circle told MTV News.
"She never lets you down," her longtime choreographer Brian Friedman told MTV News on the Vma black carpet on Sunday night. "She's definitely not dull. There's always something crazy coming around the next turn.

Dirty Sexy Things comes to E4 this summer with a line up of eight beautiful models ready to bare all for an eight-week project led by noted fashion photographer, Perou.
He sets out to create a series of stunning photographs which will challenge his own abilities as well as pushing our models to the extreme.
By following what goes on in front of and behind the camera lens, this brand new concept-doc gets under the skin of modelling and reveals what life is like as a living beauty commodity. Is it one big glamorous party or a battle to stay on top?
In the first episode Perou holds an open casting. He meets the models putting themselves on the front line of fashion and selects eight who would never normally work together based on their individual look and character:

Last week we gave you the lowdown on new X Factor judge Tulisa. Now we're turning our gaze to Ms Kelly Rowland. She's the first Us-born member of the panel since Brian Friedman's short-lived tenure in 2007, but we're pretty confident that she'll last longer than him! As a show of support, we've scoured the archives for ten things you may not have known about the singer, model, actress and ex-Destiny's Child superstar. 1. Kelly was born Kelendria Trene Rowland on February 11, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia to mum Doris Rowland Garrison and dad Christopher Lovett. 2. In 1991, she joined friends Beyoncé Knowles, Latavia Roberson and others in rapping/singing/dancing ensemble Girl's Tyme (ugh!). In true girl-group tradition, a number of lineup changes took place as the girls tried on loads of new names for style - including Something Fresh, (more)...

The pop superstar, Britney Spears has worked with Brian Friedman for many years - he famously created her moves for videos including "Toxic", "I'm a Slave 4 U" and her recent offering "Hold It Against Me", as well as a number of her live shows.
Britney Spears is set to head off on tour this summer in support of her new album "Femme Fatale", but she will now have to put the shows together without Friedman.
In a series of posts on his Twitter page, Friedman writes, "To put rumours and questions to rest... Due 2 (sic) scheduling conflicts I'm not able 2 (sic) work on Brit's Ff tour. I'm so thankful 2 (sic) have had the opportunity 2 (sic) reconnect on videos & promo tho (though)!... Jamie King will be directing the tour again & has a great line up of new choreographers! Britney Spears in her "Till The World Ends" video

Remember when Britney Spears threw a sweaty, dirty dance party in an unfinished apartment and slinked around wearing underwear over her pants in 2001's "Slave 4 U"? Well, the party is back, and it's as dirty as ever in the clip for "Till the World Ends," which premiered on Wednesday (April 6).
As befits the song title, the video takes place during the apocalypse, on December 21, 2012. Spears takes her party underground, beneath the sewers of an anonymous big city, somewhere in the world. As the buildings crumble around them and fiery masses fall from the sky, all Britney and her pals want to do is flirt and dance.

According to him, her shows in Las Vegas and San Francisco last weekend gave a pretty good sense of the visual spectacle of the tour.

The shows so far have been a combination of funky sets that play on the album's hard-partying theme with sparkly, sexy costumes and sassy dance moves.

Britney Spears' heavily-promoted music video for her new hit single "Hold It Against Me" has finally been unearthed in full. Directed by Jonas Akerlund, it's apparently divided into four major scenes. The first is a dance scene which features product placements, the second is her inside a TV-screen cage with small tubes attached to her fingertips, the third is Britney fighting her alter ego, and the fourth is another dance scene with different costume than the first one.
On the eve of the video premiere, a longer preview around 30 seconds was released, and Britney was immediately hit with criticisms regarding her dance number. Some of her fans blamed it to Brian Friedman since he's the choreographer.
In a defensive note on Twitter, Brian responded, "I Didnt edit or direct the video so please do not place hostility at me if you aren't happy with what you have seen or see.

Sure Britney Spears tends to take her clothes off a lot, but she's also worn some pretty memorable looks in her music videos. And as it turns out, Spears plans to up her fashion ante for the upcoming "Hold It Against Me" (which premieres on MTV and MTV.com on Thursday, February 17 at 9:56 p.m. Eastern).
"She's taking fashion risks," choreographer Brian Friedman shared about the style Spears is rocking this time around. "Things we've never seen her wear before she's wearing in this video, and I think it's just very sexy and it's a little bit playful."
Spears famously donned that school girl uniform in her "...Baby One More Time" video in 1998. The Lolita idea was all her own. "She's taking fashion risks," choreographer Brian Friedman shared about the style Spears is rocking this time around. "Things we've never seen her wear before she's wearing in this video, and I think it's just very sexy and it's a little bit playful."

Beauty shots of television monitors marks four more days until video premiere.

There are just four more days until Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video premieres, and the pop supernova continues to keep the suspense high.
After doling out super-short snippets of the visual to her latest dance floor-filler for over a week, the preview she gifted fans on Sunday (February 13) doesn't feature a flash of her toned legs or a scene where she and her dancers prepare to bust out some heart-racing choreography, but her presence is felt.
In the 10th, slickly produced teaser, a lofty chamber dotted with monitors looping many of her old videos takes center stage, as the bass from her insta-smash throbs in the background.
The seconds-long teasers will culminate in the premiere of the entire video, which goes down on MTV on Thursday at 9:56 p.m.

Britney Spears in her ninth "Hold It Against Me" teaser

Britney Spears continues to tease fans with seconds-long previews of her forthcoming video "Hold It Against Me," and the offering on Saturday (February 12) was another lightning-quick snapshot of the vampy visual.
In the seven-second preview, a cache of professional studio lighting flashes on surrounding an empty, circular, milk-white platform. Suddenly, Britney appears on the platform amid the bevy of lights in red hot pants, heels and a white top, her blonde hair falling at her shoulders and her feet apart, looking ready to groove. A team of dancers in all-white ensembles flank the pop diva in a similar stance, and with a similar intensity, looking ready to rock it.

It looks like Britney Spears is in a throwdown with herself in the video for "Hold It Against Me." In the latest, very brief teaser for the video, one Britney knocks down a second Britney (or Britney look-alike) with a blow to the face.
The teaser opens with a shot of two sets of feet, perfectly accessorized in high platform shoes. The camera pans up to show that one blond woman, dressed in a flowing gown, is punching another blond woman, also in a flowing gown, sending her flying through the air and onto the ground in slow motion. The two versions of Britney appear to be in some sort of battle for Britney supremacy.

For those wondering if Britney was going to let some of pop's newest princesses have all the fun, choreographer Brian Friedman tells MTV News that Britney is "definitely setting the bar" with her video for "Hold It Against Me."
"She's showing that you have to push it as an artist: that you can't just settle, that you can't be calm with your choreography, that you have to make a statement," he explained. "There's so many people out there competing in this world to be the queen of pop, and she's definitely claiming her throne.
