Nearly six years after Degrassi: The Next Generation wrapped in 2015, co-creator Linda Schuyler and stars Stefan Brogren, Aislinn Paul, Shane Kippel, Luke Bilyk, Munro Chambers, Lauren Collins and more reunited to celebrate the series’ lasting impact.
The Degrassi: The Next Generation reunion kicked off this year’s Atx Television Festival on Friday. For many of the cast members, reuniting with their on-screen classmates was just like meeting with longtime school buddies as they reminisced on favorite moments from the teen drama.
“What a joy it is to be reminded of those scenes we’ve done together over the years,” Schuyler told her team.
From scenes about sexuality and abortion to mental health issues, Schuyler and the Degrassi cast reflected on how the series unapologetically tackled controversial topics, which often caused more of a stir in the United States than in Canada when they first aired. Today’s shows like Euphoria,...

While most of us would probably dread going to our high school reunion, Drake managed to make it look like the best idea ever when he dropped the Degrassi: Next Generation-themed music video for his new single "I'm Upset" on Wednesday. The third time wasn't a charm for Jennie Garth. The 90210 actress' third husband Dave Abrams reportedly filed for divorce on April 6, according to TMZ. The shocking news comes after reports claimed that she and Dave were taking a break in late 2017, but it looks like the time apart didn't help. Dave reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences" in the court docs, which were filed just three days after her 46th birthday on April 3. It looks like Jennie is leaning on her three daughters from her previous marriages to Daniel Clark and Peter Facinelli in this difficult time. While enjoying some time in Aspen with her kids, she wrote, "they’re my everything, always there for me thru thick and thin, they teach me new levels of love and understanding everyday. loyal and full of faith in me. unwavering and incredibly strong. i am forever grateful for them...

Wedding bells were ringing on Saturday (July 11) as Jennie Garth tied the knot with David Abrams at an afternoon wedding at Garth’s home in Santa Ynez, California.
Following their April engagement, the “Beverly Hills: 90210” star and her handsome beau made vows in front of family and friends including Jennie’s three daughters Luca, Lola and Fiona.
Ms. Garth was previously married to Daniel Clark back in the 1990s, followed by an 18-year relationship (12 of which they were married) to “Twilight Saga: New Moon” hunk Peter Facinelli. Interestingly enough, Facinelli is also getting married after proposing to Jaimie Alexander at the top of the Empire State Building back in March.

The 43-year-old looked gorgeous wearing a black string bikini which she accessorized with a straw floppy hat and white sunglasses. But get a look at that ink! Garth highlighted her giant hip tattoo while rocking the teeny bikini. The actress has two roses with black ribbons that start just above her waist and go down to the front of her leg. Talk about some cute couple bonding time! Jennie Garth and fiance David Abrams were spotted earlier this month enjoying a round of golf in Los Angeles, California. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum looked head-over-heels for her fiance as they showed some major Pda in between swings. We also got our first clear look at Garth's giant engagement ring -- and we love that David decided to do something a little different when it came to her new bling. Is that emerald? This will be Garth’s third marriage, following a two-year run with musician Daniel Clark back in the '90s and a 12-year marriage to "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli, which ended in 2013. She has three daughters with Peter; Luca Facinelli, Lola Facinelli and Fiona Facinelli. Jennie Garth is rebounding from her split from Peter Facinelli and is already "smitten" with her new man.
According to reports, Garth is happily dating Jeremy Salken, the drummer for the electronica duo Big Gigantic, reports Us Weekly. The two have been seeing each other since October.
"He's very easygoing and chill," a source told the magazine of the 31-year-old drummer. "She loves being with the rock star. They’re together nonstop, except when she’s on mom time. They could be doing absolutely nothing and it’s still fun. They’re smitten.”
Garth's publicist was not immediately available for a comment on the new relationship.
People magazine first reported that Garth is dating Salken, revealing that the two spent New Year's together in Chicago at a Big Gigantic show.
The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress recently opened up about her painful divorce from Facinelli. The two split back in March after 11 years of marriage.

After all these years, it’s hard to listen to the talents of Deric Williams, Daniel Clark, Tobie Munroe and Chris Davis and not refer to them by the collective moniker they’ve gone by for over half a decade. I guess I understand why the band now known as Foreign Home needed to distance themselves from their previous handle, Motive for Movement. When the band first started out they performed mostly at churches and all-ages venues. Their lyrics, much like their band name, were spiritual in nature. As the band seemed to evolve into a new area, both creatively and very likely personally, a fresh start was needed. That fresh start came in the way of Foreign Home, a name ripped from a Minus the Bear song. After watching the band perform at the FreeTulsa music festival in July, it was clear that the band has indeed turned over a new leaf.

It seems like it was just yesterday that Jennie Garth was playing Kelly Taylor, the popular high school girl forever falling in and out of love with proverbial bad boy, Dylan, on "Beverly Hills, 90210." Maybe that's why Tuesday's news that Garth and real-life love Peter Facinelli are headed for divorce after 11 years and three daughters together took us by surprise.
But this won't be Garth's first divorce -- her marriage to Daniel Clark ended in 1996 after two years together. And Garth will hardly be the first "90210"-er to divorce, either. In fact, the West Beverly Hills High School-crowd is so prone to splits, that a few years back, E! Online wondered if many in the group might be under the divorce curse cast by "90210" alum Shannen Doherty, whose short-lived marriage to actor Ashley Hamilton in 1993 was followed by an even shorter-lived second marriage to Rick Salomon 10 years later.

The aliens from Sony's "District 9" scored big during The Hollywood Reporter's 39th annual Key Art Awards.
Honoring the best in movie marketing, Friday's event at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles saw "District 9" take home 11 awards, including the best-in-show prize for its integrating marketing campaigning as well as three other best-in-show laurels for its outdoor advertising (built around its "Bus Stop for Humans Bus Shelter"), TV spots and digital campaign.
The awards ceremony culminated with Sylvester Stallone receiving the Visionary Award, given annually to a filmmaker who inspires movie marketers.
"At the end of the day, there is no question that Sylvester Stallone delivers great product," THR publisher Lori Burgess said before calling Stallone to the candlelit stage at what once was the altar of the former St. Vibiana Roman Catholic cathedral, which has been converted to a party space. "He's put his stamp on film like very few people of his generation.
