It is a fine and sunny day in Los Angeles, just like every day in Los Angeles, a sprawling metropolis testament to human ambition and resolute failure. Somewhere downtown, a broad-shouldered rapper-cum-actor emerges from an SUV and approaches a non-descript building. He nods at the receptionist then takes the lift to the fourth floor. Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson strolls into his agent’s office, the world at his feet and creativity oozing from his every pore.
“Fiddy!” shrieks his agent, a small, balding and tanned white man. “How can I help my favourite client today?”
Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson sits in a chair opposite his agent’s desk and eyeballs the man for a few seconds before speaking in articulate and measured tones. “Lenny. I need to do another movie.”

This is quite interesting casting news, indeed!
Randy Couture has signed on to co-star in Set Up, the upcoming action movie that already has Bruce Willis, Ryan Phillippe, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Jenna Dewan Tatum all signed on.
Movie will be directed by Mike Gunther, and it will follow:
“…a group of small time criminals who are catapulted into the middle of a diamond heist that turns deadly.”
At this moment we know that Couture will play “an enforcer who works for a local crime lord (Willis) tasked to oversee Jackson‘s character on an assignment.”
Couture has been talking about doing more acting as he winds down his Ufc career, doing small parts over the years, while also starring in The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior and also in the ensemble film The Expendables.
Gunther is directing the movie from a script he co-wrote with Mike Behrman.

Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are taking a quick break from producing and filming ‘Ten Year‘, their first movie together since ‘Step Up‘, to spend time with their family for the holidays. Above are a few new pics of the couple getting in some last minute gift shopping in Los Angeles on December 23rd.
Before Jenna began filming ‘Ten Year‘ with Chan in New Mexico a week ago, she braved the very chilly temperatures of Grand Rapids, Michigan while filming her drama ‘Setup‘ with 50 Cent, Ryan Phillippe, and Bruce Willis earlier this month. BeforeTheTrailer.com recently interviewed Mike Gunther, the director of the movie (which is also produced by 50 Cent and Randall Emmett), and we get to learn a little more about the “diamond heist gone wrong” film where the professional dancer, actress, and producer added stunt woman to her growing resume.

Much like her hubby, Jenna Dewan-Tatum has been a busy bee this year. She filmed the western ‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy‘ and the romantic comedies ‘Slightly Single in L.A.‘ and ‘Balls to the Wall‘.
She also executive produced and premiered the Producer’s Guild nominated political documentary ‘Earth Made of Glass‘ at the Tribeca Film Festival and is currently producing the high school reunion drama ‘Ten Year‘ with husband Channing Tatum via their new (soon to be titled) production company.
After spending Thanksgiving with Chan and her family in Texas, Jenna flew to the Michigan (where she’s currently using her new Snuggie to stay warm) and now we know why…
Variety just announced that Jenna has joined Bruce Willis, Chan’s ‘Stop-Loss‘ co-star Ryan Phillippe, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in the heist actioner ‘Setup‘, which began filming in Grand Rapids, Michigan earlier this week.
