Shannen Doherty rehashed more co-star drama this week, this time stemming from the set of Beverly Hills, 90210.
The actress recounted a prank gone wrong between herself and co-star Jennie Garth during a conversation on her Let’s Be Clear podcast with fellow 90210 star Brian Austin Green.
“[Jennie] was doing, she was calling it ‘Pants-Down Day,’ where she would pull the pants on some of the crewmembers in a funny way,” Doherty recalled of her time on the 90210 set. “But some of them were getting pretty annoyed with it.”
In response, Doherty said, “I reversed it and I said, ‘Skirt-Up Day.’ And she always wore the men’s Calvin Klein boxer shorts under her clothes, so I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. And so I did ‘Skirt-Up Day’ and oh my God, she lost it on me, and I was just not in the mood to back down.

Charmed is one of the biggest shows of the ’90s and ’00s.
The series, which premiered on The WB for eight seasons from October 1998 through May of 2006, centers around three sisters with unique magical powers, also known as the Charmed Ones, who are the most powerful good witches in the world. Using their powers (the Power of Three!), they protect the world from evil.
The first three seasons featured Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano) as the trio, until Shannen left in 2001, being replaced by Rose McGowan as the long-lost younger half-sister Paige Matthews in Season 4.
By 2018, the series got a reboot at The CW, which ran for four seasons until May of 2022.

The saga of what really happened on the set of Charmed has another new chapter. Buckle up, it’s a lot of back and forth.
Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs sat side by side on the main stage at MegaCon Orlando on Sunday. As the panel came to a close, Doherty pulled out a cellphone to read a statement. At one point, the actress fought back tears as she responded to claims made two days earlier at the same convention by fellow Charmed star Alyssa Milano, who blasted Doherty and Combs for crafting “revisionist history” in blaming Milano for Doherty’s firing at the end of season three in 2001.
“A lot of things have been said, and a lot of them very hurtful,” Doherty said in reference to her hard-to-follow saga with Milano. During an episode of Doherty’s Let’s Be Clear podcast in December, she...

Shannen Doherty is tired of the back and forth with her one-time Charmed co-star, Alyssa Milano.
The pair have been going back and forth for years after their relationship became strained while working on the supernatural drama.
Doherty previously spoke out about her feud with Milano, alleging that her nemesis gave producers an ultimatum that got her written off the show following Season 3.
For the record, Milano has vehemently denied the allegation, saying during a Who’s the Boss? panel at MegaCon Orlando that it’s a shame “people can’t move past it,” according to People.
In the aftermath of the panel, Milano doubled down on Instagram, claiming she didn’t have “the power to get anyone fired.”
Instead, Milano said it came down to the late Aaron Spelling, who followed the advice of a professional mediator amid the on-set drama.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Doherty and her former Charmed co-stars Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan addressed comments she made on her Let’s Be Clear podcast during a panel at the MegaCon Orlando event on Sunday, February 4. “Holly and I, we were not mean on the podcast,” Doherty said, referring to a December episode of her podcast where she claimed Milano had a hand in her exit from the hit WB series. “In fact, we went in and we edited out anything that we felt would cause more drama.” She continued, “We simply told the truth because the truth actually does matter. Alyssa Milano is speaking out against claims that she got Shannen Doherty fired from Charmed.
The actress took to social media on Saturday to share her thoughts about Doherty and Holly Marie Combs saying Milano got the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum let go from the USA series in 2001.
Her statement comes a month after Doherty stated on her podcast, Let’s Be Clear, that Milano got her fired from the show. Combs supported these claims by detailing a conversation she had at the time with Charmed producer Jonathan Levin, who told her that Milano gave the studio an ultimatum of her or Doherty, and they allegedly chose her.
Milano attended MegaCon in Orlando on Feb. 2, where she was asked about her co-stars saying that she was responsible for (spoiler alert!) Doherty’s character being killed off in the show’s season three finale.

It was 25 years ago that the supernatural fantasy Charmed premiered on what was, at the time, The WB (now The CW). Holly Marie Combs starred on the show for all eight of its seasons, and she said the best part of her time on the show was the relationships she developed with her co-stars. Speaking at a Steel City Con panel, Combs talked about how she had a very special chemistry with Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty, and Rose McGowan over the course of the series. Every family has its share of dysfunction, including the Halliwell sisters of The WB’s Charmed. Since midway through the supernatural drama’s eight-season run — and as recently as this month — fans have heard about issues between stars Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan. And once The CW ordered a new version of Charmed, two generations of bewitching actors came into conflict. With the acknowledgment that long hours on set could try anyone’s patience — and that there’s more ink spilled about friction between female celebrities than that of their male counterparts — here’s a recap of the Charmed franchise’s behind-the-scenes drama so far. 2001: Shannen Doherty leaves Charmed amid acrimony As Charmed’s third season ended, fans learned that Doherty wouldn’t be returning for Season 4 amid a rumored falling-out with Milano. Producers later cast McGowan to replace Doherty and play a long-lost sister of the original three.

On October 7, 1998, a series premiered that would go on to “charm” viewers for eight years. The Halliwell sisters find out they are powerful witches, who must use their combined “Powers of Three” to protect innocents and save the world from the dark side. Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and (later) Rose McGowan took on the roles of Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige, and made “Charmed” one of the biggest hits for the fledgling WB network.

After a genre-defining golden age from 1978 to 1984, slashers continued to proliferate cinemas throughout the rest of the ’80s. By the time the ’90s rolled around, however, diminishing returns for franchises and newcomers alike made it seem as though the slasher well had run dry. But, like its bottomless repository of knife-wielding villains, the genre has proven that it can never be stopped. During the dry period before Scream revitalized slashers in 1996, savvy filmmakers began leaning into the campy elements as a response to dwindling audiences rooting for the villains rather than fearing them. Dr. Giggles was just what the doctor ordered.

The 90210 star took selfies with costars Spelling, Priestley and Ziering, while noticeably not having one with Doherty. For other stars Garth didn’t get the chance to visit – such as Kathy Najimy, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Holly Marie Combs – she found and took pictures with banners of them.
People were quick to speculate about the absence of Doherty in person or on a banner, but Garth quickly shut all rumors down.

The 1992 horror comedy slasher Dr. Giggles (watch it Here) is getting a Blu-ray release courtesy of Scream Factory on March 21st – and copies can be pre-ordered at This Link!
Dr. Giggles was directed by Manny Coto, who rewrote the original screenplay by Graeme Whifler so extensively that Whifler was able to take the original script and get another movie out of it.. Dr. Giggles ended up with the following synopsis: It has been 35 years since the small town of Moorehigh discovered why Dr. Rendell kept losing his patients: he was ripping their hearts out in a twisted attempt to save his ailing wife. The townspeople stoned Rendell to death, but they never found the young son with the hideous giggle who helped his deranged father perform the operations. Now, over three decades later, Dr. Rendell’s son returns to gain revenge on Moorehigh’s residents, and he’s not shy about making house calls.

Charmed is officially over. On October 7, 1998, Constance M. Burge and Aaron Spelling created and produced one of the most successful shows on the now defunct WB network, Charmed, starring Shannen Doherty as Prue, Holly Marie Combs as Piper, and Alyssa Milano as Phoebe, which was about three witches who protected innocent lives from supernatural entities such as demons and warlocks. As the season four finale approached, the reboot writers even began to lay the framework for Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan's potential return. But then, the CW announced the series wasn't going to be renewed for a fifth season. "I had hoped we gotten another season, if only to continue to wherever that went," Sarah, who spoke to E! Fans of the CW shows know all about the multiverse, thanks to the Arrowverse. But by the end of the reboot of Charmed, there was a new multiverse on the network… only it wasn’t one everyone could get behind. While the reboot’s executive producers had their own ideas for what would have happened next, given the series ended with them walking inside, a writer from the original series disagreed. “As an original #Charmed writer, I can tell u what happened next: Piper, Phoebe & Paige vanquished the 3 imposters right after they invaded Halliwell Manor. Now, that's how you get fans talking.
For four seasons, The CW's Charmed reboot has forged its own path, taking viewers well away from the world of the original series.
However, Friday's emotional series finale concluded with one of the most shocking scenes ever.
The Charmed ones - Mel, Maggie, and Kaela - found a mysterious door that gave them pause.
“Are we sure about this? Another world? Other Charmed Ones?” Mel asked.
On the other side of the door, the witches found themselves at Halliwell Manor, aka the setting for the original series, which starred Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan, and Alyssa Milano.
The sisters vowed to see who lived in the iconic location.
It was quite the scene -- and set-up -- for another season.
Unfortunately, fans will be waiting with bated breaths because The CW canceled the series after four seasons, meaning there will likely never be resolution.
