Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some voice over descriptions are unsettling
  • This is not a documentary for the faint of heart, or those with weak stomachs. Animals, adults and babies are shown highly deformed and wounded from the radiation.
  • Animal lovers may be saddened by the fact that people had left their pets at home whilst they evacuated. (thinking they would be back very soon)
  • The archival footage is incredibly revealing, and can be hard to watch at times.
  • Footage of a helicopter, which hits a cable and is brought down, is shown. Voice over describes the pilots as having been burned alive.
  • Many scenes are very stressful as we witness people risking their lives at the plant.
  • The main mood of this film is very bleak and intense
