Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga is an absolutely amazing experience, with many planets to explore and plenty of collectibles to find, this game will keep you busy for a long time. The amount of references, and Easter eggs is absolutely astounding, and the sense of humor never ceases to make me laugh. The actual story levels, however, leave something to be desired at times. There are times where instead of giving the player the ability to play through and experience a section that would've been playable in the original, or would've been interesting to play through now, it's just glossed over in a cutscene. Like the actual rescue of Palpatine after defeating Count Dooku. I understand that these games are aimed towards a younger audience, and that the open world is at the forefront of the experience, but these aspects have been done better in previous games from TT games, even in 2016's The Force Awakens Lego game. Overall, the game does a good job at making its innovations, but can fall short a bit in doing what the Lego games have done before with its story levels.
