Kid (1990)
9/10
A subtle revenge film

Looking for revenge isn't easy. Most people who get revenge tend to be sloppy. C. Thomas Howell known for being in "The Outsiders" and other hit films played the title character, "Kid".

It's about a young man who returns to his hometown years later after his hippie parents were murdered by the locals. One by one, the lone "kid" tracks down the ones responsible for his parents' death. They weren't killed in the same manner. At first, the "kid's" presence in the town was menacing. Especially for the sheriff(R. Lee Ermey) and his sons. He tried to run the "kid" out of town, but a couple of the locals didn't like him or his sons, and several others. Since he and his friends were hunting buddies, they were the responsible one for the "kid's" parents murder. And the daughter and brother(Brian Austin Greene) would later know what kind of a man their father was.

This movie was subtle in matter. A lot of violence and action. And small amount of intimacy. Tame to say the least.

2 out of 5 stars.
