Enjoying it but I'm a little worried if it may end up factually incorrect.
Set in Yorkshire during the 30's - 40's and the opening scene has kids playing with hoola hoops that were not invented until 1958!
That said, it looks like it will be enjoyable.
I remember the Herriot books with fondness and enjoyed the original series in the 70's
Hopefully this will be an antidote to the current sad state of the world.
