Riveting BUT....
kagmiyuna6 January 2024
The story it self is riveting but i think the author failed in some obvious areas for not thinking that issue she created can be solved immediate. The mention that they are the powerful family in the NY and LA is enough to overturn any hurdles and circumstance. If its base in the real world, if you have money you have connections, and with those connections that are purely loyal because of your money is the main ingredient of staying in power. Not to spill anything. Just an example, you are the head of a conglomerate and in the novel the only top official the most powerful family can talk to is just a Captain of the Police force? If Maybe the writer should explore more on the meaning of Power. Take those Kdramas with Filthy rich family storyline. Politics is politics which ever country you are in. Regardless if this is NY or Asian. The principle is the same. All the issues in the novel are very easy to resolve because of that Power. Which the writer failed to write about. The Power she kept mentioning are just words not totally in action. I knoe you have to put drama into it to spice it up. But when you do make sure to follow the string of succession and not just extending the scenes just to have 3000 words per episode. I like the story, very relatable and aspiring. I just hope that the author can enhance the story or edit if that possible or anyone who have the knowledge to re-write to make it cohesive and tighten a bit would make the story more and more exciting.

Completely unrealistic and stupid
kmcghghy-7201723 January 2024
This is the dumbest podcast I have ever listened to. Whereas overall you want to know the next part of the story it is so far fetched and stupid as well as totally unrealistic. 4 stars for holding your interest and -6 stars for being so stupid, cringy and unbelievable. All this story line does is talk about wealth and prestige but it's so over the top it's ridicules. They string it out to over 1,000 episodes with plain ole garbage.

Then, when you look for reviews they make you do an unrealistic amount of characters hoping you won't take the time to drag out the review and will give up.

But as this whole podcast is so unbelievably I'm going to finish the review.

If this is the kind of trash Pocket FM puts out with the unbelievable expensive trash I will definitely make sure I don't listen to anything else they have on the app. What a bunch of idiotic garbage.

This Who Dunnit is super meta and a wild ride!
gollocks27 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. This is riveting! The subject matter, vulgar script, and porn actor casting all pointed to NeoCon antiabortion drama... But then it becomes so much more of a mystery! Sure, the greedy patriarch wants her to abort her babies, which screams abortion derives from greed. But then he steals one and takes it to a special orphanage. No police come after him even though he was recorded as visiting and leaving with a newborn😂 and , so he clearly has paid someone off, which is way more of a post Soviet Eastern block sort of reality. So 9 years later, with not prison time served for kidnapping, the whole family is hell bent on getting her to sign some formal paperwork to terminate her engagement. 😂🤣🤣🤣but engagements hold none of the legal ramifications in US law that they do in other countries, specifically developing nations. So who wrote the scripts??! Not American proLifers! Nay, it must be some Russian Mafia type thing! This is a super who done it meta piece! It's great! But they somehow hired all American actors. The other tip off is the vulgar script written in such a way that Americans don't. They harp so much on the lead's ugliness and call her pig faced over and over-- it's such an unAmerican type of juvenile mqchismo. I mean, we have plenty of our own, but this screams foreign. And the way the patriarch speaks is also really weird like a 13 year old boy wrote the dialogue. Theyre outfits are also very unAmerican. And then men don't even wear baggy NewJersy suits-- very peculiar for money worshiping Florida mansion types And all the Baroque gold worship-- it's straight out of some eastern block Mafia world-- like Trump or Putin. But just when u think, for sure this isn't ProLifer material, it must be an EasternBlock con-- then they introduce a new actor, IT hacker....but is that Black Jeremy from those scary fright wing razor commercials??? The ones that star the DailyWire guy with the plastered brunette ken hairdo? You know, scary NeoCon guy with the hair that looks like a Lego hair piece, is constantly giving speeches about Wokism destroying our 1950s world? The one who recently made that AntiWoke SnowWhite Film? The WhoDunnit mystery may never be fully explained by the plot alone-- we must follow the money. But I know we are supposed to pay attention to who the sperm donor is. They keep acting like that's important, 9years later, and they talk about it all the time like it has anything to do with the financial outcome of their corporate dynasty or a deep *seeded* family secret. My boyfriend suspects we will find out that it is the Messiah himself...that"s why she can't remember. So maybe it's just an Evangelist picture. But I still think it's the father or a family friend who ruphied her. And that this is less of a propoganda film/podcast, and more a simple revenue stream for other propaganda, utilizing easternblock production team speed and cost cutting. Riveting!!!

Inconsistencies
C_vins31 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
It is a great story, however, the writer can't decide if Pete and Cherry are 5 or 9. I am also interested in knowing how fraternal twins can be so identical that their parents can't recognise them.

It always makes me laugh or makes me wonder - do rich people act like that? Speak like that?

I also wonder how Nora ended up being the best Neuro surgeon in the world without getting her photo taken. How is there no record of her studying medicine. Justin and Lawrence couldn't find her in any medical school. Why did Nora change her name to Athena to be a surgeon? Maybe that comes out in later episodes.
