This post contains spoilers for "The After Hours."
The innate human fear of being lost in an unknown, empty space can never be properly explained or quantified. This fear that makes us acutely aware of our fragility, and the foreignness of the space, be it inside an abandoned building or out under the vast night sky, adds to the anxiety of being alone without ever knowing if we are truly alone. In "The After Hours," the 34th episode of "The Twilight Zone," a woman suddenly finds herself in an empty departmental store after dark, its bustling daytime charm and security evaporating and molding into deathlike silence once night falls. As a woman trapped in an indoor space with seemingly no exits, this woman, Marsha, experiences horrors beyond her comprehension, as this unwitting trip to the Twilight Zone is the key to unlocking her sense of identity and the fears attached to it.

Regardless of your feelings toward him, one thing is certain: Donald Trump has actually succeeded in reviving our political interest in the country. Sure, the 45th president of the United States can be bold and forthright at times, and he occasionally does things that are highly offensive and wholly inappropriate, but he is not at all ‘boring’.
He holds nothing back when discussing subjects, which draws you in, compels you to listen, and causes you to think about ideas you might not have otherwise. However, in one of his previous dinner outings with his wife (Melania Trump), the former president became the hot topic of discussion yet again. While dining at a high-end restaurant, onlookers could not help but notice Trump’s immature behavior, which resembled that of a toddler playing with an iPad.

Emma Tammi's new horror film "Five Nights at Freddy's," based on a popular series of video games, posits that the animatronic animal band from a local chain of pizza palaces is secretly coming to life at night and stalking the palace's night watchman. A puffy, friendly, anthropomorphic bear becomes a bloodthirsty murderer, haunted by the ghosts of children who have secretly died on the pizza restaurant's premises. The animatronic band at Showbiz Pizza, later Chuck E. Cheese's, was considered greatly unnerving to many children, and it doesn't take a very large cognitive leap to imagine the band members stepping off the stage of their own demonic volition, eager to eat the children in their company.
A fear of fake people, of animatronics, and of mannequins, however, goes back many years prior to the inception of "Five Nights at Freddy's," or even the Rock-afire Explosion (the name of the Showbiz Pizza band). Indeed,...

Hijack star Idris Elba as well as the Apple TV+ thriller’s exec producers have all acknowledged that a major obstacle ahead of any Season 2 renewal would be finding a reason to drop Sam Nelson into another nail-biting crisis.
After all, as (barely) explained in the Hijack premiere by his estranged wife Marsha, Sam is no cop or Special Forces vet but just a guy who “gets brought in by big companies, if there’s a merger or takeover,” because he is “the best at handling it.”

There are a lot of interesting developments during this Tuesday’s episode of White Collar (USA Network, 9/8c), and Hilarie Burton is here to tell us about a few of them – provided she can stop raving about her castmates. “They’re such a generous group of people, and that’s something that should be put out there,” she shares. “They’re just genuine, and when it’s real like that you want to scream it from the rooftops and make sure everybody knows.”
Burton indeed has much to cheer about , more than two years after bidding the role of One Tree Hill‘s Peyton adieu.
