A decent end to a fantastic show

I truly appreciate the love and dedication the whole team has put into this show over the years. The quality of animation, writing, story and character development got better with each season - and this finale was a decent way to say goodbye.

The quality of animation was top notch for this series, and the story was entertaining with only a few boring spots while transitioning through multiple plot lines. In other areas the plot felt rushed, but it's kinda expected since they didn't have a season or half-season to really expand it.

Overall its an enjoyable watch with a few lol moments, chuckle-worthy one liners, and a dash of Easter eggs and old school pop culture references.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

Great fights but not enough to outweigh the rest.

Fan of the first remake and hoped for something as good or better given more monsters. But really the silly story got in the way of the entertainment. They could have made it a comedy that has more heart than the serious tone they poorly attempted to create. Save for rental or Netflix one day

Search YouTube for Battle Angel Anime. Since it's unlikey many will get a hold of the manga form - watch the YouTube movie (full dub or sub audio options available) - then see how good the movie is by comparison.

Overall the movie kept the key parts intact but modified things where it would make more sense - the anime is a hot mess of a script. But most Anime is. Love or hate it for what it is. But this movie is a fantastic adaptation, probably best live action adaptation to a Manga to date - the visuals are so worth the watch alone. Sit back and just enjoy a movie.
