Treason (2022)

Where is the story and plot ? Must be in Baku 😂

This series is really disappointing with absolutely rubbish plot. How come people working at such higher positions in mi 6 or ministry are so vulnerable ? Series starts with unbelievable plot of poisoning mi 6 chief only to have Mr Adam in office as "C" and unveil Baku plot. There is no surveillance , cameras anyone is meeting anyone ,anywhere , anyplace. There is no explanation of why Adam daughter kidnapped by cia , how cia agent gets easily away from uk after executing Adam , maddy just walks in to high profile mi 6 meetings to give ppt presentation. This is absolute trash , no real plot , too many lose end and is created just for sake of it. Absolutely avoid it.

Glass Onion (2022)

Don't waste your time

This movie is no way near the first edition of knives out. As someone mentioned in review, script must have been written on napkin with no content. All big names in cast,but they fail in flying colors. No concrete story or screenplay , no plot and everyone has done such a bad acting. I was waiting in anticipation that something will happen ,but you just get disappointed. Daniel Craig does bring some relief but Not sure what is with fake accent. Edward Norton is ok , but actor of his caliber is just wasted. Not sure why he even did this movie. Huge sets, costly production does not make a good movie , basic necessity is a story and plot and is no where to be found. Save precious 2 hours of your life and avoid this .

Stay Close (2021)

Harlen Coben did pretty descent job with earlier series likes of the Five, The stranger, Innocent , Safe , but this one has lost a plot. For the sake of twists and turns lot of loopholes in plot and no explanation of 2 contract killers keep on popping up out of nowhere. Some questions not answered like what was motive to kill Harry Sutton , why to be behind Cassey and her daughter, why Lorraine choosing only carnivals to stop crimes against women , why sudden visits of strangers to MIL of Cassey/Megan , why suspicions turn suddenly to Ray ,list goes on. The detective is most lazy in any series who is never available on phone , overall you will not lose much if this is not checked out, save your time.

Don't waste your time

I tried to watch this series with open mind as most of reviews suggest , but where is the plot? Main female protagonist character is very poorly built who contradicts herself episode by episode. Even if you are trying to make a bold web series, it should have a concrete plot, character building and good pace. This series fails in flying colors with exception of vijay Verma. He is been excellent but wasted. This can be surely avoided and Imtiaz ali seriously needs to sit down and think what is going wrong.

Lupin (2021– )

Poor writing no concrete plot.

First season was ok with some interesting twists ,turns and ideas of Mr- Lupin, but come on where is the logic? Lupin is being captured on camera during auction and he is so intelligent to disguise police? Hard to believe. Series started off well but is full of loopholes. Season 2 just keeps on dragging ending as revenge drama. Either lupin is too smart , or viewers are too dumb to appreciate such silly disguise trick. Do not waste your time, watch something else.

Westworld (2016–2022)

From best to worst

I would say season 1 is amongst the best that has been made in sci-fi genre. Excellent story , gripping plot , great acting ( especially by sir Anthony Hopkins ) and great plot revelation.

Season 2 is pretty average with all the mayhem and apocalypse like fight in the park . You think this is it , but wait there is more disappointment - season 3.

Dolores has turned into a super host who can tweak the things and make it work as her wish. There is no concrete story and plot all over the place. Introduction of Aaron paul does not help either , he just looks like an extension of Jesse Pinkman. No clear revelation of what has happened with five pearls stolen by Dolores acting as hale at season 2 end. Bernard who has been one of main characters is insignificant now but keeps on popping. Absolutely no idea what is with man in black and wasting great actor like ed harris in this.

Overall , just watch season 1 and leave there. You will not feel.bad what has became of show and is just milking the cow when nothing significant is left.

Bastille Day (2016)

Descent action thriller.

If you like movies of thriller genre, this one is surely worth a try. Good plot , fast paced story, good action sequence and performance especially of Idris Alba. I found end of plot revelation bit letdown but overall descent watch.

Uncut Gems (2019)

Waste of time

This movie does not make any sense. Just bunch of characters shouting at each other creating chaos , Sandler borrowing money for anything running around NYC . There is no story , no plot just ends abruptly. Not a typical Adam Sandler movie but he has done well. Can be avoided for sure.

Bloodline (2015–2017)

Season 3 falls apart everything just like Rayburns.

First 2 seasons were pretty good with good acting especially by Ben mendelson . Great location, good plot and edge of the seat entertainment especially John's cover up and race with time to save family.

Season 3 just falls apart with too many loopholes in story and just keeps dragging. Last 2 episodes are disappointing especially - episode 9. Some obvious questions we are left with

1- what happens to tape of Dany of family secrets which is in Roy's possession? How he gets it? 2- Nolan seeing John and Kevin putting all stash at Dany's apartment. Not a single.memtion of it ? 3- what is Sally and Roy's relationship , is not clear and unconvinced explaination by John at end ? 4- After Marco is killed, Kevin has all the time in world to figure out how to cover up ? 5- why Ozzie character even there's a lot in season 3? Makes no sense.

This is classic example how a good series can be spoiled by rushed ending and bad writing .

The Coldest Game (2019)

Descent cold war spy thriller

It is a descent one time watch if you like spy thriller movies. A politically laden chess match in backdrop of Cuban crisis starts off the movie at good pace. Good twist at the end and does not waste your 1.5 hours. I have seen people complaining about chess match inaccuracies , if you let that go ( unless you really love chess ) , it is worth watching. I have seen Bill Pullman from days of while you were sleeping, Independence day and very recent sinner , he does not disappoints and pulls off good performance. Overall surely a one time watch.

Tiger King (2020–2021)

Dark side of Big Cat world.

Netflix always does pretty good with documentaries and Tiger king is not an exception. It unfolds a dark side of zoo owners , cat world, grey shades of owners, competition for fame and many more things. It is well made documentary with a lot has gone in past several years to film it. Nobody is good or bad, but at the end it is the animals who lost. Not as good as making a murderer which I feel the best Netflix documentary but you will not be disappointed watching this.

The Outsider (2020)

First 2 episodes starring Jason Bateman start off pretty great and raises the expectation. You keep on watching till the time you realize is a typical horror plot where a deamon is the one. If you are watching this with something like true detective on the cards , stop right away as you will be utterly disappointed like i.am. Typical horror series which could have been finished in 5 episodes.

The Stranger (I) (2020)

Descent show with not so good ending

This series was descent , plot thickens as you move ahead watching the episodes. But the end is not appealing and hard to digest. Just dumping everything on Kratz does not make any sense. Also the whole motive of blackmail and looking up people's secret is bit too much. All the sub plots around the blackmail by a stranger just goes in vain. Not sure why the plot of Dante running in woods , Mike getting drugged and Olivia is even there . It is a descent watch but hasty writing at end and not a great suspense.

Collateral (2018)

Not really a thriller ... disappointing

Started watching the mini series because of enthralling first episode and gripping trailer, but this turned out to be a political drama which itself is pretty boring. Wasted 4 hours watching this.

The Sinner (2017–2021)

Nicely written , good acting - watch if you are into thrillers.

I started watching season -1 it after doing random search on Netflix app, but this series did not disappoint. Season 1 was pretty good and really keeps viewers engaged. Story and screenplay is nice and is complimented by good acting. Bill Pullman has pulled this performance of disturbed detective but he is great fit for role. Jessica Biel looks great and has given good performance. Overall good series to watch if you like thrillers genre.

This movie is absolute waste of time. There is no story , script just keeps on dragging for 2 hours. Performance from main characters are pretty average. Not a good film.

I watched first 2 episodes of first season. There is nothing conclusive and story just keeps on dragging. Lead investigator just follows different leads and keeps interviewing people . These incidents are really tragic but sorry to say that series is not up to the mark.
