Powerful Sandra Bullock bringing her A game

Not sure re the low scores , Sandra Bullock powerful & resonates the rebound and takes it on the chin , in my opinion great movie.

Need to be patient & let the story unfold.

Fantastic Australian Film and the Cast brilliant

Fantastic aussie cast and each character play their part brilliantly , you will be kept in tune from start to finish , the twists and turns keeps you guessing and for me it's not so much what Eric Banna says its what he doesn't say in this character that defines his role for me. I saw a recent Aussie flick with Hugo weaving Measure for measure (2019) and thought it was the best Aussie movie I've seen for some time and The Dry has topped that . See it on the big screen if you can as the cinematography of Vic rural is brilliant and will have you appreciate this movie overall.

Brilliant Australian movie but not for everyone

Has so many layers & diverse and the Aussie cast portray their characters brilliantly, yes the few violent scenes are indeed extreme for a few short moments , step away from analysing it to align as an adaptation and enjoy it has a film and it digs deep and those that do that will be locked in from start to finish

If you like Scott Atkins movies you'll enjoy this one

If your accustom to Scott Atkins movies , this in my opinion is one of his better ones with enough twists & turns to keep you in tune through out. The top few Lead actors /actresses in this movie play their parts well

It's certainly not Jason Bourne & it shouldn't be expected to be so , and Not the same budget but you still get a Bourne / john wick feel And MB G wagons & night club scenes would have required somewhat of a budget It can in parts move at rapid pace & asked yourself if you must have left the room for a minute , but as I've said the drama, twists & action will keep you on board for the full 1.5 hrs I enjoyed it and would recommend a watch if you purely want to watch action with some Drama.

Noted reviews saying unrealistic , well it's a Hollywood movie , for a thriller enjoyed & edge of your seat with lead characters strong performances in my opinion Unhinged Crowes character to a degree Reminds me of the Michael Douglas style movie (falling down) in the 90s If you want to sit back and enjoy a good Hollywood drama , intense (warning - heavy violence in parts ) for what it is I'd recommend
