A little of disappointing!

Ok, I commit I laughed many times during the movies. However, I have higher expectation of Teng Shen! He is the Chaplin of China, he should be give me something more than this movie! In other hand, Han Han should improve his tale and directing. Generally speaking, I think it is overrated.

Old memory of Chinese 90s'
3 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This film tell story of Chinese old tale, white snake. This story is revised from Chinese opera and old story. This film can be regarded as a independent story ahead of the story of traditional White Snake. Of course, I agree the plots are old without any novelty. However, the pictures are so beautiful and the music is so charming. Some ideas are from the film of Hong Kong director Hark Tusi's (Ke Xu) , Green Snake. Also, some music are from Yazhi Zhao's drama, White Snake. It is a common memory of Chinese. If you are a Asian, I recommend you to see the film to call back your childhood memory. If you are not a Asian, it is a nice chance to know Chinese culture.

Tale of Tales (2015)

Good story with fantasy, different from Eastern magic stories.

The structure is clever thus the three stories were well organised alternately. In traditional Chinese tales, the key senses of worth is common, i.e., introduce the rule or philosophy of the world, such as retribution and honesty. However, the western tales are full of horror. This movie show us a original western movie of tales, the logic of magic and the world are worth seeing.
