The Towel Man (2021)
Is this a joke...?
How could this possibly have made it on Amazon Prime? Looks like it was shot on an old phone. Some films can have low production value but still have a good script and decent acting. Not this one. Bad acting. Terrible script assuming there was one. Whatever your impressions are after five minutes is as good as this gets. No, it doesn't get better.
Eaters of the Dead (2017)
Who paid for this . . .?
We watch a lot of "No Budget/Low Budget films on Prime. Some are very good. Based on the number of reviews and rating on Prime we turned it on. There was little effort put into the effects, acting, or story line. Even if a movie is terrible you can look for something redeeming. It might be a great soundtrack, great audio or lighting, maybe some good acting or edgy ambience. This had nothing. There was a scene that introduced a police officer. Look at his hat. It looked like it was made out of some leftover black cloth at the last minute because someone forget to pick one up at the joke shop. The film then abruptly ends without any closure. I have to believe that anyone who gives this film any more than a 1/10 has an association with the film or cast. If you're looking to compile a list of pathetic films just start here.
Vermijo (2017)
Worst film I've ever seen...
I have to believe the high ratings are from the actors parents. Terrible acting. Half the dialogue was used to describe events in the story. We were actually laughing after a while. Infantile. Horrible unrealistic dialogue. Weak cliche of a story. Nothing gritty or clever. Even the attempts at creating artistic shots fell way short. Looked more like a middle school film project.
