I feel like I've been kicked in the teeth
17 July 2020
I'm going to just keep it short. I've loved Skynyrd since I was 14 one of my very first albums was One More From the Road so I was not introduced to them long before the end. But I started learning all their songs on guitar and I just was absolutely amazed at their musicianship. I cannot believe how little respect for these human beings was shown and if Artemus signed off on this he's really crazy. They made a mockery of all of them. Art by making him look foolish like he was a superhero saving the day which I do believe happened but the way it was portrayed and him being pretty much squeaky clean do nothing wrong. While the rest were just redneck animal chemical rejects. This was a slap in the face of fans but worse it was a spit in the face of the band. They should have made a two part movie and told it right. From beginning to end.

Good show but same basic premise for each episode
10 June 2020
I watch this show with my wife and we enjoy it but it basically mimics what is wrong with the world today. People don't communicate so there are constant misunderstandings and that is what the show seems to always be about, solving issues between each other and also a lot of characters sticking their noses into others affairs. The worst character in the show in my opinion is Mallory she is 13 year old who thinks she knows absolutely everything and not in the normal way you would expect a tween to. She has no respect whatsoever for the elders in the show. Example she tells Jack a 60ish year old man and patriarch of the family. "Don't patronize me". I cannot stand a child with a mouth like that. This seems to be a very good representation of the young people today and I can now see where they got it.

Jesus (1999)

Surprisingly good for a newer version

I'm very pleasantly surprised with this modern update of a classic bible story about the life of our savior. Jeremy Sisto is very good in the role of Jesus, he brings a sense of child like wonder and innocence to his role. In my opinion he truly carries the film with good acting from the others. I would definitely recommend this movie because it is very good and especially for a shorter than usual running time when compared to other movies on similar subjects.
