I can highly recommend this documentary into this amazing complex character in sport let alone road cycling. I love his honesty and his no BS attitude. There were also interesting insights into his home life and how it affects his family whether he wins or loses or crashes. What I hated was having to listen to the greatest narcissistic drug cheat of all time Lance Armstrong. His arrogance astounds me and what ever he says means nothing to me and has no place in cycling. His response would be that he has seven yellow jerseys and I have none, but he doesn't, he got them cheating and being unapologetically abusive to those who stood up to him. Shame on you Netflix for giving him a voice.

IF YOU WANT TO WATCH A TEAM TO BE PROUD OF, THIS IS IT

This was so much better than I expected. This fly on the wall series allows you to feel what these brilliant women go through with playing proudly for their nation and having that weight on their shoulders. Hopefully, those that are not Australian will learn to appreciate what Australian sports men and women give up to reach their dreams and the effects of jet lag to achieve that dream for their national and club teams. The interviews with players and family was always interesting, especially seeing their lives outside football. Timing of the series is for the lead up to the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and does it perfectly.

Some good acting some atrocious

This is a great movie, with some amazing performances by Sean Penn, Jim Caviezel and Nick Notte. The scene where Elias Koteas disobeys a direct order is incredibly realistic. The stress shown by Nick Nolte is also also incredibly realistic. The cameo by John Travolta sums up why he is is a two bit actor and is actually quite pathetic and adds nothing to the overall story. His performance is totally unconvincing and makes me wonder why he still gets roles as an actor. I've seen better performances by the local am-dram theatre group. The scenery is beautiful as is the performances by the other actors. It may be 25 years old, but it still resonates today.

Great show, shame about the abuse from the coach

Yes, Coach Mosley might know how to coach basketball, but he does it through yelling, abuse and non-sensical sentences that are meant to inspire, but just confuse the players. Maybe this is an American thing as seen by the one on Football. Just because you are in a position of power and can determine the career and livelihoods of these individuals, it doesn't give you the right to behave in this manner.
You can still get the same results by treating them like adults and being a great example and true leader of men.
Other than that, I think it is an excellent series and I hope these young men can be proud of their achievements on and off there court.
